It's hard to follow Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell's hilarious bit prior to Jennifer winning, but it also shows Jennifer's comic chops too! Her "I Beat Meryl" line was directly from the film, "The First Wives Club," and she delivers it without missing a beat! LOL
And then the Internet wanted to cancel her for being snooty about winning over Meryl and claiming it made her a better actress. Her publicist had her point out it was a line from "The First Wives Club" when she started her award campaign.

Not scripted. You can tell when they started to say different things at the same time. Of course they planned to do this but what they were going to say was unscripted.
I think they had it outlined, memorizing key parts, then improvising the rest. That takes a lot of creativity.

She has a lot of things in post-production. She spent most of 2018 doing voice work, as she was in How To Train Your Dragon 3 earlier this year and is a series regular on animated series airing on Fox this month. She also has a Linklater film (Where’d You Go Bernadette?) which came out last month, and she’s already filmed 3 different films to be released next year, one of which is Wonder Woman. So she’s been busy, it’s just a lot of it requires a lot of post-production, particularly the animated series and WW2, so it just seems like she hasn’t done anything in a while because we have to wait longer for them to be released.

Hopefully she makes a come-back. The way she delivered the lines in the airplane in Bridesmaids was hilarious. A great moment in her career.

It was a whole deal back then. So when all women started to speak out against that perverse sicko, Jlaw and the fact that he's the producer of the movie that won her the Oscar, came to my mind.
