hey bud, use loctite 577 for any thread in fitting, its good for water air oil and gas and will always seal. youl never use anything else every again. dont pitch down , youl loose holeshot, if anything bore out your stator and fit a larger wear ring and build your impellor up to suit

Also I have the same Minijet intake as you, I think these are too small, they don't let enough water through especially with the Stomp Grate they seem to restrict a lot of water. I am up to a 4mm insert now to help load my pump.

Just finished watching whole video, that's good speed for short boat, Only faster one's I have seen are the 14 degree Bratt Jet I believe 13 or 13.5 foot long with the 260 hp Kawasaki motor. They where 72 to 73 mph. If your down 400 rpm that's a lot if your going for top speed, may have to go back to the 13-21 and put a 2mm insert in your nozzle. This is what I did to help load my pump for starts and it also helped maintain bowl pressure at top speed. Just my 2 cents.

Really good advice, I'll try to fill the volume with a spacer to help load it up. I dont want to sacrifice the holeshot for a few mph, but if theres a solution for both then im definitely going to try.
I'll start with a spacer on the cone.

Anti Seize on shaft next time you install. I just have a 215 hp rotax on my mini. I can't remember if it is regular or reverse threads.

Maybe it is backwards threads ?

Any reason you didn't go with the RS Racecraft intercooler? Easy install with the BO valve.

only reason is the big name kits were all $800-1k and i have around 190$ into this setup, I did spend more time fabricating but thats the stuff i enjoy.
frozenboost.com is where many of these cheap IC setups come from anyway.

Good call. I was thinking of the same thing when the time comes. I also can Tig aluminum. Sounds like a good route. Glad it worked for you.

I believe this was the second time this impeller had been removed. This was definitely the first time i've broken a 1/2" breaker bar haha.

I've lost count of how many 3/4" breaker bars I've broken. If you run into this problem again, it might be worth it to have a plate wrench laser cut. That way you can beat it with a sledge or use some hydraulic horsepower.
