Aren’t the cooling water from the manifold jacket also exiting into the exhaust through that outer channel? It’s been a while since I worked on the exhaust so I might remember incorrectly. Anyway, I like the setup! A lot easier than what I did 😂
That trim motor looks an awful lot like a standard wiper motor. You could probably find a cheap replacement for about 40 bucks at any parts store. Nevermind. Seems you got her to work. It looks like it's even mechanically similar to a wiper set up. Hahaha!! Seems like I need to quit commenting before I finish the video. She's coming along nicely!! Your content quality is getting better and better as well!! Keep em coming!
@@Localhost127 I think you've got it more than figured out, my friend. I have subscribed to thousands of RUclips channels, but I only have notifications turned on for 5. And your channel is one of em. You make quality content. And who can ignore badass jet boat content?!?! Lol!
i jused a center punch to mark the center of the hole on the side with the adapter, drilled a small hole then went from the inside of the boat with a step bit and drilled it out until the cable could slide through.

You'll probably get better results on thin tube if you use AC Pulse settings. Don't know if your welder will do that.
That’s a great point, it does do pulse, I’m going to try it out on the next thing piece I weld. Certainly a learning curve 😆

@@BIGWIGGLE223 I appreciate that man, I'll certainly keep at it haha. I just need to get a cnc table to make these projects go a bit quicker
What kind of thru hull fitting is it. Working on the same jet pump.
What size of drill bit did you use on the steering cable hole?
