What a wild ride ! Good thing you had one good boat in the end, double mechanical failure could turn out real bad from a survival standpoint. I'd consider investing the time to get the bolt heads sunk a little deeper into the protective plastic layer under the boat. They sit quite high and I already saw one half ripped out and bent on a previous video. Once the layer starts wearing out a little more and you hit more rocks it might make a mess of it.

Need to put some Rain-X on the windows
I’m honestly wondering why Jack stand doesn’t have a gopro in his boat .... personal choice?
Possibly his wife doesn't want the exposure?
@@Peter-zm6ln I was thinking the same thing. It’s a hard life being in the spot light. I do understand it as not everyone wants to be on camera. Still it was a lot of fun to be apart of their trip.
@@joegti10 You're single, aren't you?
@Cale Phillips lmfao
Ok now I've seen it all, a "Giraffe In The Mist", waving to an Eagle.
I really wasn’t that interested in these little jet boats in the beginning, but now that I’ve seen them in action, I might build one
@6:41 🎶🎶 the weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew the minnow would be lost 🎶🎶 lol
This river looks like where jet boats come to die 😭
Totally full of junk!! Way bigger and better in the pnw.. next time maybe..
They went the ENTIRE length of the Ocoee and went well past some of the worst parts of the Hiwassee and said “we didn’t get to do any rapids” 😂🤣
You guys went over the same rapids that the 96 Winter Olympics used for their kayaking stuff and apparently that didn’t even count lol
Since this actually got a few likes
WEAR YALLS DANG FULL FACES WHEN YOURE RIPPING HARD! That 2” deep water may be no huge deal to hit at 40-50mph but bouncing your dew funnel off one of those rocks is a little more serious.
I was on the Ocoee in '96, It was way deeper and faster. They opened the dam up for the Olympics.
I don’t believe they did the upper ocoee above parksville did they? That’s where the big rapids are.
This is the lower ocoee where it meets the hiwassee, not where the Olympics were. That's the upper/middle Ocoee. No motorized vehicles allowed.
Broken drive shaft. You'll get that on these big jobs.
If you like Bald Eagles, wait until you get to Alaska. They’re everywhere. Especially when you get down to the Aleutians, where I’m from. Things are considered a pest.
Theyre glorified seagulls lol
Enjoyed every minute of your guy's CRAZY ass driving throw that river without getting killed, your nuts all of you !!!
idk why but James getting blasted by the water was the best part of my day so far. Thank you James for the sacrifices you make
i spend the last 5mins trying not to laugh at the sight of james shacking the water off with a big smile on his face
as hilarious as it was, I can't figure out why they stayed in his boat. and didnt get in Cleet's. not like he can steer the thing and would have towed with a much higher bow had the weight not been in it.
Started out sketchy and wound up as an episode of dumb and dumber, unfortunately, I've been there and done that! It isn't the severity of the screwup, but rather, it's the quality of the recovery!
The broken driveshaft probably saved a broken engine when something jammed the jet pump. As for the downturn in the weather, shorty wetsuits and firestarting materials would be a wise choice.
Love James’s attitude over the whole situation.
Hey Cleetus just a heads up Maddie having her feet on your dash while on the river like that is very dangerous. I would hate to see her get hurt.
Yea they need to weld in lower foot rests
Welcome to Idaho brother. You should go to Riggins Idaho. Some of the best white water rapids around.
Never thought I'd want to hear Rrrrrreeeeeeee for 10 minutes straight
💀😂 FACTS
I’m gonna have to go watch a finnegan fox videos afterwards so I can wean myself away from it 🤗
And the occasional Crunch from hitting the rocks lol
This is turning to the most enjoyable "rich people" problems, i love it.
Hell yeah brother. First world problems are a MF'er but makes great content. Content is what brings in the money. Good content is what us consumers want to watch. Win for everyone. Sometimes it's painful to watch the destruction but a lot less painful than watching Whistlindiesel destroy nice things on purpose.
@@boosted95 yes, and yes. 🤔👍
Let's give it up for Madi & Jackstands girl for being brave enough to ride in Jetboats with some crazy river rapid Greenhorns, lol.
I want to see these out on Tabelrock Lake in the open water when there is a good chop and them just bombing the waves...
Can't wait to see how you and Maddie plan for your wedding if doing stuff like this is your every day life 😲
The best part about Matty filming is her riding shotgun giggling as Cleet sends it. Also cheetah print crocs... She is the freaking Florida woman for Cleet.
I was thinking the same thing! Great attitude! Zero bitching! I bet James’s old lady was raising hell!
I think James wife has just as much fun. She had the right idea during the towing ducking down
Maddie*
@@tamarastephenson8985 I like her.
James wife wouldn't be there if she wasn't into it. These women are ride or die.
Might want to check the old nuts and bolts in those jet boats after this at 59 secs there is one almost loose on the left side of the windshield those teflon nuts shouldn't back off but that one is.
It looks like they took the windows out when they did the wrap. I’ll bet they reused the old nuts instead of replacing them.
You're missing a huge great opportunity to start this video series with dueling banjos
Most boats has a eye hook underneath the front center about 6 to 12 in down , for when they trailer the boat . Its where the safety chain goes. If you tie on to that when towing it won't hold the front of the boat down near as much!!! Drowning the guy in the toe boat Lol. I know it seemed like a bad time but that's going to be a good memory once you guys get in and get dried off and get done paying for it . Most good memories are kind of expensive.LOL
You have to get Finnegan down to ride so I can watch him make one in his garage after u get him hooked
Do it for Dale
Dear Garrett and Madi: Once you guys get married it won't feel any different really. You'll look back on stuff like your Tennessee jet-boat trip and remember oh that was before we got married! and it'll be a nice memory. These are great days ya'll are livin, friends and family, dogs and jetboats. Cheers and very best wishes from Knoxville TN!!

No guts no glory. I'm 40 and a full time single dad but when I was young we gavver. I regret nothing.
Imagine you look out your living room window and there's cleetus mcfarland in his jet boat! 😂🙃
100 comments in under a minute the bald eagles are loose on the freedom holiday weekend 🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Getting caught in that storm has got to be one hell of a story to tell. What an amazing adventure you caught on camera.
You need to install a towing eye on the boats further down the front of the hull like most other boats. Then if you need to tow one again you will find it much easier. Looks like such unreal fun.
Agreed, but it will need to be protected and arched over with metal so it doesn't catch on anything.
@@Dirk3672_StupidYT good point. Mabe a tube punched through the hull in the right location and welded in so its not sticking out at all would be the way to go.
Next time they go out I bet they take the race trailer with a spare everything and the SxS to get the boats in the water 😂
I mean come on, he has the stacker, I'm sure he could fit way more toys including the boats.
I was wondering the same thing.. sxs would be perfect for launching. And extra fun.. almost fit on the tooter.?
@@GaryLX870D yeah that's my thoughts. Shove everything in the stacker and then you don't have to worry about how you bring the extras. Sucks that you can't see the awesome boats though.
Put tow hooks front and rear on both so youre not tying off to hand rails. Eventually you will bend them. Also, bottom of the boats look like the bottom of my SXS.
That’s so cool that Cleets spirit animal showed up for the fun
@speedypuma1 lmfao I'm dead 😂
They have giraffe in TN?
@speedypuma1 if only giraffes made bald eagle noisey
8:48 Right here, Jackstand is thinking to himself, "I totally shoulda gotten the full windshield."
What a wild ride ! Good thing you had one good boat in the end, double mechanical failure could turn out real bad from a survival standpoint. I haven't the first clue about what you guys would need for a night stranded on a riverbank, it would be so sketchy once dusk started hitting. You guys a going hard here, kudos from Ottawa Canada, big up sick channel here, enjoy this content so much, good luck with the repairs. P.S. I fix SeaDoo pumps all the time on my channel and I am really surprised that you can have so many rocks through your pump without serious damage to the wear ring and impeller. Having a spare pump...or two or three...would definitely be a great idea. Wow, what a riot !
I was very sceptical of these builds, came out much better than I thought so getting full on my words.
Busch lite definitely needs a windscreen.
I'd consider investing the time to get the bolt heads sunk a little deeper into the protective plastic layer under the boat. They sit quite high and I already saw one half ripped out and bent on a previous video. Once the layer starts wearing out a little more and you hit more rocks it might make a mess of it.
I find this statement riveting and flush with deep thoughts
If he would have slowed down, that bald Eagle would have tried to mate... 🥲
🤣
The real adventure starts when things go wrong
Where is the new car, twin Leroy turbo white vette? Saw is on hoonigans outro

Cleetus is definitely in amc or gme just by the sayings he’s been saying lately. “To the moon” “we ride at dawn” this man knows how to make money
It's hard enough going down river and trying to see the rocks, you might as well be driving blind in the rain.
Yeah Tennessee rivers dont play. Glad to see yall in my neck of the woods
