8:35 if you don't have the rubber feet you can slice up a wine cork and nail that to the wood instead (i used hot glue at first and they ended up falling off). Worked well for when i made one for my bin so i could place a fan on top. I also cut the circle about a quarter way in (so I had two different sized semi-circles) then glued fabric on (with both pieces pushed together to make the full circle), that way it made a makeshift hinge so I can still access my bin without removing what's on top!
I like watching Hometalk. What I do not like, is some of the negative comments. Hometalk is giving you some ideas of what you can make, using different Materials. You don't have to make it or paint it the same the way. I like the suggestions on how they made it. They are giving you a base idea, so now you can get Creative and design it your way. Enjoy the videos.
I love all of these items that you have made and seeing this l bought 8 wood ages ago and I didn’t know what l wanted to do with the woods so thank you for your ideas. I look forward to doing some of your ideas!
Very clever & cute metal-leg table. Looks just like what's popular in home stores right now. Just be sure nobody mistakes it for a sitting stool ~ ask me how I know, OOF! ,,_\🥴/_,, 😂
Thanks for the ideas. All easy, cheap, and cute. Great for adding interest and functional pieces on a budget. But, for the lamp shade table: With that pattern paper on top, turn the buckle to the back. With the buckle up front, choose something western to put on top. I'd use a brown belt and something with horses, cows, or cowboys on top. A light spray of clear coat vinyl on the lampshades? Would that work or would they discolor when wet??
I don’t know that many DYI-ers that actually save money on their ridiculous projects. For example: Round from Home Depot $15 and wood stain $15, paper-towel holders and jute cord from Dollar Tree $5.25 Ummmm you can buy a decent one from Ikea at that price point and save time. 😅😂
How about taking the tag off the table before you stain it grey and then clear coat it. Also might want to do all the way around the edge if you're going to display it. What a mess as far as I'm concerned.
Great ideas, one problem , by the time you add up all the additive costs to Make it. you are far better off to wait when College student toss out all the Furniture to the curb, and get Free End Tables, or wait till middle or end of month, when people MOVE OUT. or after people are done with their RUMMAGE SALE. Many will just put it out to the Trash.
Those lamp shades and a belt look hideous and so tacky. Of course these are also the same thing over and over again. I keep waiting for new ideas but they never happen. Get over yourself people before you complain about my comment on here. It’s RUclips and if they didn’t expect all kinds of comments, they shouldn’t be in here! 😂
Doesn’t****^^^ & I’m so confused😂 why would they not? They sell LUMBER. They sell all different types of wood rounds; in pine, birch etc and in diff sizes. 💁♀️j guess the US Home Depot’s are just smarter and better! Hey,that’s my country though, smarter & better than the rest🤭🙌🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wood round = $15 Paper towel holders = $30 Other hardware = $5 Total investment = $50 plus time Side table that is more sturdy = $25 Not a win! Not bothering to watch anymore.
It's not a repeat for people that have never seen this video don't be one of those entitled bitchers just scroll to something u haven't watched or seen
lady that put wood round on top of basket you could put fairy lights in bottom would make super cute!

Instead of cutting the lamp cord it’s smarter to unscrew it from the socket so it cab be reused
I remember those "Blockbuster Nights!!!!" Great job 👍
Great idea for the table using paper towel holders

Did you see my negative comment about those lamp shades 😂
Wel,l I would not know about your commitment, I posted my comment 1hour ago. So I looked up your comments you posted 44 minutes ago. Have a good day.

I got to try this❤
Cute ideas
Unique 😊❤
Wow very nice
Except for the accent table with the wallpaper & belt, these ideas are pretty good.
The lampshade table looks nice except for the belt. It looks tacky.
These are some clever ideas.
Great idea!! Love it! Thank you❤️
I’d use a cool ribbon on that lamp shade table, could be really nice but the belt makes it look outta the ‘90s
Re: the lamp DIY…why destroy in inner working parts of the lamp by cutting the cord?? It could have been re-purposed.
Hi 👋
My dollar store does not have wood signs that thick
I believe he got the wood from Home Depot he said?
All good ideas, except those lamp shades and belt ! Omg, that looked hideous !!
why do you feel the need to be rude? Just walk away.. Do better !
@@dogdefender6946 that’s what comments are for, mind your business. Take your own advice !!
I think your comment is much more hideous than the table. 😂
This is something I wouldn’t do!
I surprised it held up the wood
Pptowel holders haven't any strength

I was all in until the twine🤷🏽♀️
Power staples if you're pressed for time.
like the idea, dont think you need to pre drill, though

Yeah, but this guy did it better😊

Yep repeats 😂
👍🏻
This reminds me of small children "preparing/making" gifts at school for "Mother's Day"... As primitive and as useless ...!!!

@@Blairnikole Hi
@@Blairnikole Way smarter
That's surprising. It's usually on the aisle with the finer finishing lumber. There should be other pre-cut wood for smaller projects.
Those paper towel holders are not any strength a child would break them down real easy
Kids shouldn't be leaning or sitting on tables. I think it's a great idea for side tables for beverages.
If he's using it as a chair NANCY but clearly it's decorative. And I'm sure the child would be fine either way❤
I guess we should be watching our children and teaching them right from wrong. Don’t touch this table. Period.
@@jacquelyngravina3805 Lol, right !! I guess some people need disclaimers, "This is NOT a Chair"! 😅
What's with the whisperer voice ?
Vintage T Shirt
I don’t see that table lasting

Paper towel holders = $30
