      The REALITY is, one is doing this in the first place because the room/area is HOT, therefore, this makes ZERO SENSE, because the ice will melt in MINUTES, and will result in basically nothing.

    • @denisethompson3819
      @denisethompson3819 Год назад

      But that may be so, I like to think that there are other benefits from doing something beneficial from what you have around you is ABLE TO BE USEDY. You may have to "buy" things. Glue, don't buy a litre if you only need under a 1/2 litre. Glue goes off. Sometimes melting plastic can replace "glue ". MELTING PLASTIC . Is not a job for a flame thrower. Think. How do you think our former relations fixed things. I have china my godfather mended. Beautiful. The most he would have spent, was time.
      This day and age we just go and buy another or something else. The social thing is two mates working together. I have wooden items my grand father fixed with hoof glue.
      So please don't pooh pooh.
      If enjoyment is achieved and something comes out of the mending then the joy of the fixer is achieved and the recipient.
      I am going to join a Men's club and do up a piece of furniture. Music cupboard. I can use tools that I need and don't have to fix an item.
      I'm a month ov 80.

    The 6th one, (protection for your eyes} is just as dangerous and using an electric angle grinder without safety glasses on. If that grinding or cutting disk exploded while using it, flying shrapnel from the broken disk could and would go right through that piece of plastic and protentional take one or both of your eyes in the process...I strongly recommend that NOBODY MAKE OR USE THIS as an eye shield. I found a lot of these too be pretty neat, inventive, even if some that are more time consuming, like the bottle with the hole to separate nuts.
    I loved the cat toy/treat dispenser. Thank you for sharing some great ideas.

      Actually I thought the same thing but use bigger bottles and figure the water can end up in a bottom the ice takes up more room than the melted ice and only put the holes above the water line

    I really love these tips. You are so creative! Some are genius. One tip I have a question about. That air conditioner you made out of ice in recycled bottles. What happens to the water when the ice melts? Flow out the holes like a fountain all over the floor? That clamp you made is pretty cool, but I'm a woodworker and depending on why you're clamping, that won't hold up for most applications. Using a hair drier as a vacuum is a great idea as long as you don't completely cover the vent holes on the drier. You'll burn up the motor or catch the thing on fire.
    That's a genius magnifying glass!

    Awesome ideas, except the one that you made to put the candle on in. I find it very dangerous because while the candle burnes down it could burn the bottle and cause trouble. But apart from that one I like all the ideas. Keep them coming but always safety first. Thank you👌🥰👍

    1:19 That won't work. The melted ice has to go somewhere.

      It works fine. I’ve done it however, you have to have a place for the water to drip ass it’s melting.
