  • Lost and FOUND! Nothing like spotting a tool that was lost by some unknown unfortunate fellow. I've found dozens of tools over the years, it's just a thing I watch for. A lovely Channelock adjustable wrench commonly called a crescent wrench here - or a thumb wrench on the east coast. It's worth about 50$ (according to the search on my phone)

I have quite a collection of odds & ends I've picked up over the years. It's always an extra bonus when it's a quality tool.
Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.

Sir that is not a channel lock that is an adjustable wrench and if you want to get full technical it is called a crescent wrench

Not really. Crescent is the brand name everyone uses to refer to an adjustable wrench (including myself always). As it says on the handle, this one was built by Channellock. I have a couple pairs of side cutters also made by them.
It's funny how brand names become synonymous with particular things. I have a few sets of Channellock pliers made by other companies but always refer to them as that, where they're probably technically called something else like "adjustable pliers "
I have a pair of "Channellock " pliers I carry on my belt every day made by Knipex.
I hope you have had the good fortune of finding a great tool somewhere.
Thanks for watching my friend stay tuned for more.

it’s like calling a garbage bin a dumpster. yeah everyone calls it that, but it’s a brand of a specific item.

Cool to find a nice tool once in a while.
My best bargain for tools is my 85$ auction buy in the video linked to this one.
