hello. I think I have a problem. because of this, I always get notifications from windows security if an app is being installed from Microsoft store or the Xbox app. I need to manually tell windows security that its ok that the app is being innstaled. How do i reset the permissions of the folder to the system, so i dont need to do this all the time? I have set my computer to norwegian, but the notificatons I get can be translated to something like: "protected folder access is blocked". Please, can someone help me?

​@@ichris4482 where you changed ownership to yourselves do this:
click Change beside the Owner and set that to System
Save that and restart (not shut down) your PC.
or if that may not work, this one likely will.
*Use at your own risk but probably shouldn't mess it up than it has already*
Run *Command Prompt (cmd.exe)* as _Admin_ and paste
*_icacls C:\Program Files\WindowsApps /reset /t /c_*
In the future use cmd.exe to likewise take aministrator ownership of any folder (with WindowsApps as an example here)
*_takeown /F C:\Program Files\WindowsApps /A /R /D Y_*
