- Don't mind the sweat, it was just about 100 degrees in that place after a long day of recording. I realize the video is off with the audio at times, the producer I used doesn't know drums very well and has never done drum covers before so that's where I went wrong. Try to look past that, thanks.

I am very sorry the production of this video isn't the best. I'm not going to re-shoot because I honestly just don't have time because I'm in school. I'm filming again in January and I can promise you that they will be better produced. Thank you for checking out my videos though!

Matt Greiner is a huge inspiration to me. Other drummers worth learning from are Matt Halpern, Brann Dailor, Grant McFarland, and the list just goes on and on. I'm sure you've seen these peoples covers but Troy Wright, Alex Rudinger, and Luke Holland (duh) are great to watch and learn from! Great job and keep up the hard work!

Unbelievable drum cover Kortney. Is that metal? That is one powerful drum cover you did. Love it so much from Meinl cymbals to the double kick drum pedals. What really dominated your drumming style is the way you hadle the drumsticks and the way you hit the drum pedals so hard with your sneakers on which I really liked. One powerful girl drummer or metal chick drummer to see. Super job Kortney. Need 3 to 5 more drum videos of that including the drum pedal footwork in all of them.

This was my first song/cover with blast beats in it so it was not perfected by any means. I have been practicing a lot more and I am looking to do more covers with some blasts in them which you'll be able to see better technique a year later :) Thanks for watching! P.S. Yes.. it was exhausting

Well. I am a female so I think you meant "she" in that last part there. But I am aware that it dosen't match up at some points during the video. I did two different takes of this and my producer isn't drum oriented so he thought it looked fine, but us drummers know that it dosen't match up to what I'm actually playing. I hate that it dosen't match up but there was nothing I could do about it and I hope you can look past it :) Thank you for watching!

I have short arms, when I sit closer to the kit it makes it easier to reach my cymbals so I don't wear myself out so much. Every drummer is different.

I didn't expect to see you doing metal covers when I came to check you out. I instantly subscribed as soon as the song started,can't wait to hear more from you.
