Saved to Fav.s! I love it when you hit us with a bunch all at once! WOW! I think I'd eat every one of these. Well not all at once, but, you know. Peace
Yes, absolutely. You may need to add a bit more moisture (oil, broth, water, wine, tomatoes, etc.) because turkey is leaner than beef. But I can't really see why not.
My secret ingredient for most beef dishes is coffee , any time I need a liquid with beef, I mix beef broth with coffee, if i need a thickening i use either instant potatoes or crushed gingersnap cookies. The gingersnap cookies will make the nice brown gravy for pot roasts.
Sharla here: I don't actually eat beef myself so for the ones for my family, I use veggie "beef". The only ones I can't substitute it for are the ones with raw beef like meatloaf. But when it calls for cooked beef, I sub it out. But I always brown mine first (even though it doesn't technically need it) because I prefer the texture that way.
You can do the sliders in foil, rather than using a pan. I find that it actually works better, you get less ice crystals when you wrap it tightly in foil and plastic wrap. BTW, i reverse engineered the salisbury meatballs from your video - amazing!
We have hot roast beef sandwiches that we wrap individually and you're right, it works really well. Great idea! And you'll enjoy the salisbury meatballs - they'll be in the Club soon!
Trying to join the club, but it won't let me because my email is already on file. I haven't opened an account yet so no password. I tried forgot password 3 times, but I'm not getting the reset email. I don't see any way to contact you other than here. Help please!
Great video! My husband’s favorite recipes are with ground beef. Thanks 😊
Love seeing these recipes again! A lot of ideas added to my list.
So glad!

Do you think substituting ground turkey would work for most of these recipes?

Coffee! I wouldn't have thought of that. Interesting that you also use ginger snaps in gravy. I have learned so much!
@FreezerMeals101 try it, you will be surprised by the flavor.
Can I use veggie mince instead? Some recipes are harder to find subs cause I'm vegan, but other I can do 💚
P.S. I stayed for the chatter!! 😂😂
