I agree with you 100% when my income decreased significantly the first thing I did back in 2021 was create a budget that I use every month. I know exactly what I have to pay and the date and for the first time in my life I have a 100% payment history and the highest credit score since my 20s and am a senior now.
I'm so glad this is your topic and I agree 100% I got real and now I don't buy things unless I REALLY need them. If we condition ourselves we will realize that things we think we need or want can wait just a little longer!!! Trust me after 2 years I can finally buy clothes, shoes, and accessories because I told myself I'm in the house more than out. Now this summer I can be out looking cute but knowing I have GOOD credit and pay it every month.
8:50 This is *so* true. Until you get "sick and tired of being sick and tired" with the way things are, and then get willing to put in the work to change things once and for all, you will be stuck in those bad habits. Thank you for this message!!
Nell! I want to thank you for continuing to educate everyone about increasing their FICO score! It’s so important for everyone out there! And you need to update your Road to 10k! Congratulations Nell! Wepaaaaaaaaa!
@@WaterYourSoil I am so happy for you ! You are always giving us the information that others don’t want to talk about! You are doing a great service for all of us! Thank you my friend!
I wish I started when I was younger, but for the longest time, I was like, "I don't need a bank account or a credit card." Until I realized I'm hurting myself. In the past 2-3 months, I went from below average on the fico score to fair. I just opened up a second credit card, and I'll use both to get more credit payments in and have a small mixture. In a few months, I'll see what happens. Also I'll buy your book when I get a chance too.
Let’s goo 📈🤝💳🔥🔥🔥🔥⚖️💎 being able to get a car from that authorized dealer ship is a beautiful feeling no more looking at a car from Leroy used car lot 😅
In my opinion, your mentality is implicit in the score itself as opposed to being a separate component. This is why certain employers look at your credit score especially if you are going to handle their funds. Your maturity and lack of discipline with money can be read from the existing model. And with FICO 10T, you will not get away with quick fixes anymore.
They are really slow with newer versions....even F9 Isnt common abd its been around awhile... Credit isnt hard just takes discipline and time... Most people will need it at some point
