Thanks! This fixed my issues. This was a used truck that was purchased. Apparently, the previous owner reversed polarity switching to LEDs. Switched back to OEM Halogens and now it's fixed!
I'm doing way with single normal high and low beam bulbs and going with duel LEDs. My headlight work with just the low plugged in so now I have to do some rewiring and get rid of the high beam bulbs. It works just how I thought it would. Cheers
I know that this video is old hope your still active. I ran into a problem in my ford focus zx3 2004. My highs are lows. However my wires are Green with a strip of yellow, the other one is green also but has a black strip. the other wire is all black. what should i do to switch it.
I know it's been 2 years but have you ever figure it out? I got a 2006 Ford Focus ZX4, mine has the same issue and the wiring is exactly as you described it.
@@deadhead1016 I'm having sounds like the same problem with my 2005 focus the drivers side bright to dim is backwards but the passenger side works normally
Usually the black wire is the ground. You could always use a multimeter to check the polarity of the wires. My best bet would be to swap places the green wires but you should make sure the all black wire is the ground.
Hoping this works to make the whole led go full power in a low beam only cluster. It doesn't light up the same way as with halogen as it could with LED. Anyone do this?
i just purchased h4 LED. when i install left standard halogen and right LED, low & high beam works normal. when i install left & right LED, only high beam works but low beam not working. also high beam indicator works normal in both case. what could be wrong?
yup, for me is the same problem on my 2004 renault traffic with h4 led bulbs. At the moment for low and high beam to work, I have installed one led bulb in one side and on the other side i left halogen. I cant figure out the problem as well.

Thank you! I'm having this issue after swapping out my normal light bulbs for L.E.Ds
That's not a polarity problem, it's just a crossover of the correct wiring. Unless you move the ground, you are not changing polarity.

Thanks brother 💯💯💯💯💯💯
My low beam is reversed but on Led headlights I reverted the wires that did not work so I bought campus installed that did not work what to do.
Thank you!!
I got yellow and white light h4 but it won't change polarity this way
What should i do ?
Very helpful

And then,?no testing ?

Have you ever solved problem i have the same problem
Adis FCB did you solved it?? Same problem here.
@@adis54100 i put a resistor on one side of the LEDs and it solves the issue
