Josh Johnston well, I can tell you that coca cola has a PH level of about 2.5. That’s pretty darn acidic. The rest, well take it for what it is: a joke.
I've been using this for a little over a week now and am VERY impressed it. I did an informal comparison of this detailer compared with Mothers Instant Detailer (the one that smells like cinnamon). I can't see any difference at all. They feel very similar also. The cost difference is mind blowing. Mothers costs about $7 for a 16 oz bottle. This Wolfgang Uber at the proper dilution costs $0.63, even including the dollar you pay for a gallon of water! A gallon of Mothers is $43. A gallon of the diluted Wolfgang costs $5! I'm really blown away. Thank you Scott! You didn't invent this, but I probably would not have found it without you. Keep up the good work. :)
Scott, thanks for your continued commitment to sharing your experiences with different techniques and products. After my brother mixed up a batch of the Wolfgang Uber for QD use and raved about it I got off my butt and did the same thing. I saw that your Canadian cousin Pan the Organizer took your advice seriously and did the same with great results. Keep serving up these nuggets of knowledge and I’ll keep dominating the neighborhood with my gleaming cars. Love you too bro! 😎
Rinseless wash solution is soo versatile... I thought it would be *less* concentrated than regular wash solution... Glad to have that concept corrected...
Finally, as a foreigner watching this videos it was really confusing me that Dallas paint correction but he sounds like he's from Brooklyn or something. Now Scott mentioned being from NY I can finally focus on the content.
Scott, first off let me start by saying I love what you do, please keep up the great educational videos. I’ve learned so much from you just by listening to you actually take the time to explain everything. I can’t say thank you enough. One thing I’m curious about though is how you handle product storage at the job site. Specifically, dirty or contaminated tools/consumables and best way to get those back to clean condition for next customer. Especially if you have multiple in one day. I find this important as I’m now starting to become more mobile. Again thank you so much. I hope to one day shake your hand for all the tools of knowledge you’ve provided me and Happy Belated Birthday!
I did the same thing. It's the perfect combination leaving an amazing finish. I actually use it on my son's car which has a ceramic coating and it dresses it up nicely. Totally hydrophobic!
Distilled water is best for these solutions, because it doesn't add minerals that contribute to "water hardness." Please label your jugs, so you don't mix them, even with the colours. I think I would add a touch of mineral oil to add shine & "slickness." since I have no PEG-30. *Viewers:* pay attention to what he says! The information is more important than the recipes. One cup is 8 ounces. 3 ounces is about the same as 3 shots! 😉😏😜
Been on the fence with the ONR rinse less wash thing. After this I figured I might as well try it and getting three uses out of one product is even better. Just ordered a gallon of Wolfgang.
@regiotexas -- out of curiousity -- are using Wolfgang as a Detail Spray with Synthetic Clay Mitt/Block or Mixed at 1oz as a clay lube from wolfgang with Synthetic clay /clay block? Basically what's your clay lube: Detail Spray (3oz/Gallon) or Clay Lubricant (1oz/Gallon)
Scott, Have you ever used this mixture? Detail spray and clay lube. I seen this somewhere and have never used Klasse sealant glaze -1 gallon of DC distilled water -2 ounces of Wolfgang Uber rinseless wash -1 ounce of Klasse sealant glaze
Wow, I always thought ONR was the best. I love Wolfgang products, but never tried the Uber Waterless Wash! Now I have to try it. Love these videos - Thank you!
Great video, up to a week ago I didn't even know what detail spray was lol. Guess I better get with the times! Very helpful thanks so much for making this video. I'm gonna look around for that Wolfgang stuff sounds awesome.
Hey Scott, thanks a lot for so many nice tips and tricks in your videos. Just for my own curiosity, when you find out that the QD made by WG rinseless wash being better than the one with Ultimate, are there any situations that you would pick the Ultimate QD rather than the WG QD when you are detailing a car?
Just what I wanted to find. Pink Juice! We use to use it to detail our Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Like a fricken miracle! Glad I found this easy, low cost way to add to my squirt box. Thank You Scott for sharing your knowledge.
Been doing this for years but what I also do is make this and then add 1-2 ounces of Klasse sealant glaze to the mix, makes an outstanding spray wax that can be used wet or dry...your welcome👍
KSG is not water soluble. OTOH, as an example, Reload is soluble in water. Also as an example, mixing 2oz Ech2o and 2oz Reload in a 32oz bottle yields a good spray product that's cost effective, too. Many other combinations, as well. Good luck.
Do you use this detail spray solution on proffecinal level as.last inspection spray after a.paint correction??? Thanks fir the idea....i usually use sonax bsd firbthis job witch i can buy here for 35usd for 1,5gal of product.
Great video! I ended up going with the Wolfgang stuff and used it tonight to touch up a few areas. Very nice and worked well. Awesome channel with straight talk which is something becoming more rare these days.
If my memory serves me correctly ONR bottle is the only one WITHOUT a measuring cup on bottle, WOLFGANG and ULTIMA square box on container is a measuring device
Hey Scott, I love reading negative comments from those out there that must not understand that RUclips videos are made for viewing and are just an opinion, not a must do or a must have! A lot of viewers want to pick it a part and search for something in the vid that they feel is not right/correct in "their eyes"! Just watch if interested or view things that you stand behind! Follow those who you believe in and stop watching and leaving negative comments on vids you keep watching, but continue to disagree?
So what exactly is this Wolfgang Uber thing? Can I wax it after using this or there isn’t any need? Also, I live in Minnesota and cannot use the water hose in my home during winter. Can I use the Wolfgang Uber plus distilled water directly on the car to remove salt and dirt??
Great video Scott! I need your help on this: if I'm using a low pressure water pump in stead of the manual sprayer, which dilution rate would you recommend in this case? (to avoid wasting the chemicals) thanks!
Love your videos. Extremely educational and funny. My question to you is would or can you use Chemical guys EcoSmart as a quick detailer? if so, how would you dilute it?
Nice video, funny I did the same with ONR yesterday : 30ml in 1l and it works very great ! But you're right I think it needs more product to be as good as the others :)
Hey Scott I enjoy ur post on this. But do I really need to use distile water and is it safe for the car? Since distile water is common use for car battery too. Thanks
Its distilled water , not acid. yes its safe for the cars paint, it's water. Distilling it is the process of heating the water and catching the steam that rises from that process. doing this removes the minerals and heavy metals from the water and purifies the "distilled water". can't get any safer than purified water.
Rider4Life thanks and yes i did tried the wolfgang uber stuff. And i am so pleased on the the outcome now i do wash my car less more than i do. Thanks for the product more power to your channel
ONR a lot cheaper than the other 2. I use 1:32 as waterless wash, spray and wipe. One car uses about 700ml. But still need to TOP up with spray wax every 2 months. ONR only do the washing and light protection.
I’m assuming that with 3z’s to A gallon of distilled water, I can also use that as my waterless wash method? They say 1 ounce to 3 gallons of water but that seems like not enough. My usual process for a waterless wash is I put it in a spray bottle, soak the panel and use a dry towel that I spray some solution on to use to wipe down the panel in one direction or in a snake pattern, then use a dry towel to wipe off and buff dry. My whole point of this is I’m trying to figure out what the right dilution rate is to fill up a 32 or 34 ounce bottle in order to use as my waterless wash or detail spray. And by the way I’m talking about the Wolfgang waterless wash because that’s what I bought so thank you
Right on par with Wolfgang and ultima when you make it a detail spray.. Onr in my opinion as a quick detailer is poor because you need to add more to the gallon of water to compete with my product or others.. Here is a cool tip... If you take my sio2 spray and put 2oz in a 16oz bottle plus add 1oz of my rinseless wash as well in the 16oz bottle and fill with distilled water, you have an amazing gloss enhancer that is so easy to use and provides great slickness and gloss
Cool video. I was using Ultima this morning on a black Jetta in the sun and noticed the part of the car in direct sunlight streaked pretty heavily and dried very fast leaving an almost white streaky haze. Temp was about 70 degrees. Any tips?
I know with you it don't sit long but what is the shelve life of that gallon? The reason I ask is I want to make it by the gallon but I would not use it up as fast.
Hey Scott can you please don't know how to use a quick detailer you kind of explain it but I'd really like to see it also if you could talk about a instance you would use it.
Hey Scott what your opinion on McKee’s rinseless wash idk if ur familiar with it but it would be great if u would do a review as a detail spray thanks keep up the great content 👍
hey, i tried to use this as a drying aide. but it seems to leave residue that takes more work to dry the car than say something like chemical guys after wash. am i doing sumthing wrong here? im using it at 3 oz to a gal
Scott, watched your old videos regarding removing smoke. My wife bought a car that had been smoked in and I’m having trouble getting all the smells out of the leather. I’ve used super clean at 4:1 and wiped them down really good. Any other tips? I’ve ordered a steamer and citrol 266 but didn’t think I should use those on the leather. Anyway even if you don’t reply thanks for all the videos I would have been lost tackling this job without you.
I use Turtle Wax and Dry. I pour 1/4" of it into a spray bottle and fill up the rest of the spray bottle with water...Works awesome. Gives my black truck that wet look and no streaks even when applying in the direct sunlight. if it should streak just add more water.
Scott, I love all the information you provide. I am not a professional but a car enthusiast. I am also a Christian. With all the love you express to your viewers, would like to know if you are a Christian. If so, Happy Easter.
Thanks for the video Scott, there haven't been many videos on the Wolfgang Uber wash. I just recently bought some and all I have heard is great things on forums but nothing on RUclips. By the way I am a recent subscriber and I like the way you dive into products,it makes it easier for me to decide on which products to purchase. Thanks for all of the work man!
Scott want to thank you for all the tips and tricks.sorry for all the emails but as u know us people from N.Y. are at very least tenacious.took all ur tips and tricks in.they truly are great. b well.fan and viewer 4 life.
I know this is for a detail spray, but whats the difference in using it as a waterless wash? Would it streak to much or strip any wax? If it doesnt hurt to use this ratio as a waterless wash ill use it as that.
I have and Optimum No Rinse with Wax is pretty comparable to Uber and Ultima in terms of shine and slickness. Regular formula ONR is primarily only for cleaning so not a fair comparison. Regular formula ONR does clean very well and cheaper than Uber and Ultima.
Hate to say this, but that is not a measuring cup for liquids. that is a measuring cup for dry goods; i.e. flour, sugar, etc. The proper measuring cup for liquids is a glass measuring cup that is marked with various measurements and comes in either 1 cup or a- 2 cup glass.
@ Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing What ratio do you mix Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash & Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ , when you are using them as a clay lube , rather than a quick detailer?
lightningsmokerXx , not to speak for Scott, but i use it just as Scott showed, 3 oz. per gallon. use it as a detail spray, or clay lube. also when rinsless washimg my car, i like to pre spritz the area i’m going to wash.( not the whole car, but the section i’m currently working on.) I like the idea of the product having a short dwell time to loosen any dirt. before touching the car with the sponge/microfibre
The dollar store has liquid clothes washing detergent with fabric softener. It sound like it would make a good claybar lubricant, but I haven't had time to test it yet.
No, but it is legal to take the product to a lab and break it down for analysis and make your own version of the product, if I were you I'd make it yellow. Yellow is cool.
I use all 3 products mixed together. Then use 5 oz. Of said mix to gallon of water. Simply amazing!
great video. i just mixed up some Hennessy and Coke
R I love it!
I'm with you my friend:)
dont spray it onto your car paint it will leave streaks hahaha
impulsenutrition is that true?
Josh Johnston well, I can tell you that coca cola has a PH level of about 2.5. That’s pretty darn acidic. The rest, well take it for what it is: a joke.
Cool but what was your ratio? 1/3 cup to 1 gallon Hennessy?
I've been using this for a little over a week now and am VERY impressed it. I did an informal comparison of this detailer compared with Mothers Instant Detailer (the one that smells like cinnamon). I can't see any difference at all. They feel very similar also. The cost difference is mind blowing. Mothers costs about $7 for a 16 oz bottle. I use the Wolfgang Uber as a detailer on my work truck for the windows dash and paint keeps it clean and smooth great product
Rinseless wash solution is soo versatile... I thought it would be *less* concentrated than regular wash solution... Glad to have that concept corrected...
Mix Wolfgang with Meguiars x-press spray wax. 3oz of each and you'll never go back. Totally amazing.
Finally, as a foreigner watching this videos it was really confusing me that Dallas paint correction but he sounds like he's from Brooklyn or something. Now Scott mentioned being from NY I can finally focus on the content.
Yes! As a Massachusetts resident, I thought that myself. No WAY that's any kind of Texas accent.
I KNEW it! No way this was a Native Texas accent, a New York accent! Awesome videos, I learn so much from this.
GREAT comparison review Scott!!! Keep up the educational classes, I sure am learning quite a bit my friend!!! 👍 GOD BLESS Brother!!!

I mix Wolfgan with X Wax,.got the idea from a comment on Amazon. Great results that rises XWax to a new level.
I did the same thing. It's the perfect combination leaving an amazing finish. I actually use it on my son's car which has a ceramic coating and it dresses it up nicely. Totally hydrophobic!
Great video again Scott! Yes, I read somewhere that the ratio for ONR (Quick Detailing) is 8 oz : 1 gal. Will try Ultima.
Distilled water is best for these solutions, because it doesn't add minerals that contribute to "water hardness."

Thanks a bunch for this excellent info. Can these be used on the interior as well? And are they okay to use on a paint job coated with a ceramic wax?
You just keep saving me money.. Adam's Detail Spray 16oz for 12.99 for 16 OZ.!!! This is incredible. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
For some reason your videos stopped showing up on my suggestions. I'm glad I found you again 👍
Is the detailer ratio the same as the pre soak for the rinseless wash??
Would the wolf gang remove water spots after a wash? How do you remove water spots on a daily basis?
Been on the fence with the ONR rinse less wash thing. After this I figured I might as well try it and getting three uses out of one product is even better. Just ordered a gallon of Wolfgang.
Ultima ratio; 2.90 oz/ gallon
Wolfgang ratio; 1 oz /gallon (clay)
Optimum no rinse ; 2oz/gallon (clay)
@regiotexas -- out of curiousity -- are using Wolfgang as a Detail Spray with Synthetic Clay Mitt/Block or Mixed at 1oz as a clay lube from wolfgang with Synthetic clay /clay block? Basically what's your clay lube: Detail Spray (3oz/Gallon) or Clay Lubricant (1oz/Gallon)
what about the onr wash and wax Scott where would that fall compared to those three products?
Scott, Have you ever used this mixture? Detail spray and clay lube. I seen this somewhere and have never used Klasse sealant glaze
-1 gallon of DC distilled water
-2 ounces of Wolfgang Uber rinseless wash
-1 ounce of Klasse sealant glaze
Can you use this interior quick cleaner as well?
So can I use wolfgang as wax? Or when is this product use..apter waxing ?? Sorry ..I'm new
Hi thanks for sharing your knowledge and time. Can we use this wolfgang detail spray on our windshield/door glasses? Greetings from Dallas, TX.

Just for my own curiosity, when you find out that the QD made by WG rinseless wash being better than the one with Ultimate, are there any situations that you would pick the Ultimate QD rather than the WG QD when you are detailing a car?
You are correct Scott , I’ve also noticed that the onr lacks lubricity even at 8oz per gallon , I’ll be trying out the Wolfgang Uber, thanks

Could you use this to clean the panel during a mutli step paint correction? Sort of like a ipa?

If I were to used the SiO2 variant of the wolfgang rinseless wash, will it also add the SiO2 protection to the car as i quick detail?
Great video! I ended up going with the Wolfgang stuff and used it tonight to touch up a few areas. Very nice and worked well. Awesome channel with straight talk which is something becoming more rare these days.
Have you tried Zep EnviroEdge Truck and Trailer Wash ? it's a touchless wash for the foam cannon
Great video can the Wolfgang be used as a drying aid?
How is the water beading using the Wolfgang??
Does the wolfgang leave or add any protection to the paint?
If my memory serves me correctly ONR bottle is the only one WITHOUT a measuring cup on bottle, WOLFGANG and ULTIMA square box on container is a measuring device
The cap is the measuring cup, holds 0.5 ounces.
What's best for a drying aid detail spray or spray wax?
could you use the wolfgang solution for clay bar spray?
Huge info Scott, thanks, and so easy to make.

What do you recommend when you power wash the under the car?
Do you use all of them at the same time or the one the one you like best?
Great video Scott! I need your help on this: if I'm using a low pressure water pump in stead of the manual sprayer, which dilution rate would you recommend in this case? (to avoid wasting the chemicals) thanks!
Will a ceramic spray coating accept the Wolfgang or Ultima solutions?
How do you feel about Garry Dean's IUDJ?

hey, i really enjoyed this revue, lot of info without getting off track. you are hilarious as well
The dollar store has liquid clothes washing detergent with fabric softener. It sound like it would make a good claybar lubricant, but I haven't had time to test it yet.
Is it legal to repackage this and sell with my brand/label on it?
No, but it is legal to take the product to a lab and break it down for analysis and make your own version of the product, if I were you I'd make it yellow. Yellow is cool.
Will this work for a clay lubricant
