I use all 3 products mixed together. Then use 5 oz. Of said mix to gallon of water. Simply amazing!
great video. i just mixed up some Hennessy and Coke
R I love it!
I'm with you my friend:)
dont spray it onto your car paint it will leave streaks hahaha
impulsenutrition is that true?
Josh Johnston well, I can tell you that coca cola has a PH level of about 2.5. That’s pretty darn acidic. The rest, well take it for what it is: a joke.
Cool but what was your ratio? 1/3 cup to 1 gallon Hennessy?
Scott, thanks for your continued commitment to sharing your experiences with different techniques and products. After my brother mixed up a batch of the Wolfgang Uber for QD use and raved about it I got off my butt and did the same thing. I saw that your Canadian cousin Pan the Organizer took your advice seriously and did the same with great results. Keep serving up these nuggets of knowledge and I’ll keep dominating the neighborhood with my gleaming cars. Love you too bro! 😎
I've been using this for a little over a week now and am VERY impressed it. I did an informal comparison of this detailer compared with Mothers Instant Detailer (the one that smells like cinnamon). I can't see any difference at all. They feel very similar also. The cost difference is mind blowing. Mothers costs about $7 for a 16 oz bottle. This Wolfgang Uber at the proper dilution costs $0.63, even including the dollar you pay for a gallon of water! A gallon of Mothers is $43. A gallon of the diluted Wolfgang costs $5! I'm really blown away.
Thank you Scott! You didn't invent this, but I probably would not have found it without you. Keep up the good work. :)
Thank you, your research and sharing secrets with us is Priceless! Blessing my Brother.
Finally, as a foreigner watching this videos it was really confusing me that Dallas paint correction but he sounds like he's from Brooklyn or something. Now Scott mentioned being from NY I can finally focus on the content.
Yes! As a Massachusetts resident, I thought that myself. No WAY that's any kind of Texas accent.
Mix Wolfgang with Meguiars x-press spray wax. 3oz of each and you'll never go back. Totally amazing.
GREAT comparison review Scott!!! Keep up the educational classes, I sure am learning quite a bit my friend!!! 👍 GOD BLESS Brother!!!
I use the Wolfgang Uber as a detailer on my work truck for the windows dash and paint keeps it clean and smooth great product
Rinseless wash solution is soo versatile... I thought it would be *less* concentrated than regular wash solution... Glad to have that concept corrected...
I KNEW it! No way this was a Native Texas accent, a New York accent! Awesome videos, I learn so much from this.
Great video again Scott! Yes, I read somewhere that the ratio for ONR (Quick Detailing) is 8 oz : 1 gal. Will try Ultima.
Scott, first off let me start by saying I love what you do, please keep up the great educational videos. I’ve learned so much from you just by listening to you actually take the time to explain everything. I can’t say thank you enough. One thing I’m curious about though is how you handle product storage at the job site. Specifically, dirty or contaminated tools/consumables and best way to get those back to clean condition for next customer. Especially if you have multiple in one day. I find this important as I’m now starting to become more mobile. Again thank you so much. I hope to one day shake your hand for all the tools of knowledge you’ve provided me and Happy Belated Birthday!
Hate to say this, but that is not a measuring cup for liquids. that is a measuring cup for dry goods; i.e. flour, sugar, etc. The proper measuring cup for liquids is a glass measuring cup that is marked with various measurements and comes in either 1 cup or a- 2 cup glass.
You just keep saving me money.. Adam's Detail Spray 16oz for 12.99 for 16 OZ.!!! This is incredible. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
I mix Wolfgan with X Wax,.got the idea from a comment on Amazon. Great results that rises XWax to a new level.
I did the same thing. It's the perfect combination leaving an amazing finish. I actually use it on my son's car which has a ceramic coating and it dresses it up nicely. Totally hydrophobic!
Been on the fence with the ONR rinse less wash thing. After this I figured I might as well try it and getting three uses out of one product is even better. Just ordered a gallon of Wolfgang.
For some reason your videos stopped showing up on my suggestions. I'm glad I found you again 👍
Great video, up to a week ago I didn't even know what detail spray was lol. Guess I better get with the times! Very helpful thanks so much for making this video. I'm gonna look around for that Wolfgang stuff sounds awesome.
Great video! I ended up going with the Wolfgang stuff and used it tonight to touch up a few areas. Very nice and worked well. Awesome channel with straight talk which is something becoming more rare these days.
You are correct Scott , I’ve also noticed that the onr lacks lubricity even at 8oz per gallon , I’ll be trying out the Wolfgang Uber, thanks
Been doing this for years but what I also do is make this and then add 1-2 ounces of Klasse sealant glaze to the mix, makes an outstanding spray wax that can be used wet or dry...your welcome👍
KSG is not water soluble. OTOH, as an example, Reload is soluble in water. Also as an example, mixing 2oz Ech2o and 2oz Reload in a 32oz bottle yields a good spray product that's cost effective, too. Many other combinations, as well. Good luck.
I thought that it was 1-2 ounces of Klasse to meguiars detail spray
Three ounces, a third cup, a gallon.
milliliters are a blessing.
Distilled water is best for these solutions, because it doesn't add minerals that contribute to "water hardness."
Please label your jugs, so you don't mix them, even with the colours.
I think I would add a touch of mineral oil to add shine & "slickness." since I have no PEG-30.
*Viewers:* pay attention to what he says! The information is more important than the recipes.
One cup is 8 ounces. 3 ounces is about the same as 3 shots! 😉😏😜
Nice video, funny I did the same with ONR yesterday : 30ml in 1l and it works very great ! But you're right I think it needs more product to be as good as the others :)
Imagine my disappointment, when I find out this isnt a Kool-Aid flavor review from the preview pic. :(
I know this feeling. However, my vehicles look great!
Great comparison video! ONR has been my go to over the years.
Wow, I always thought ONR was the best. I love Wolfgang products, but never tried the Uber Waterless Wash! Now I have to try it. Love these videos - Thank you!
Thanks for the video Scott, there haven't been many videos on the Wolfgang Uber wash. I just recently bought some and all I have heard is great things on forums but nothing on RUclips. By the way I am a recent subscriber and I like the way you dive into products,it makes it easier for me to decide on which products to purchase. Thanks for all of the work man!
Ultima ratio; 2.90 oz/ gallon
Wolfgang ratio; 1 oz /gallon (clay)
Optimum no rinse ; 2oz/gallon (clay)
@regiotexas -- out of curiousity -- are using Wolfgang as a Detail Spray with Synthetic Clay Mitt/Block or Mixed at 1oz as a clay lube from wolfgang with Synthetic clay /clay block? Basically what's your clay lube: Detail Spray (3oz/Gallon) or Clay Lubricant (1oz/Gallon)
Just what I wanted to find. Pink Juice! We use to use it to detail our Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Like a fricken miracle! Glad I found this easy, low cost way to add to my squirt box.
Thank You Scott for sharing your knowledge.
Scott your New York education has not failed you keep coming with these great videos your amazing you must dream this kind of stuff and be thinking every second of the day to build a better mouse trap great 👍 work my friend!
That cup gazinta dis gallon treeee times.
If my memory serves me correctly ONR bottle is the only one WITHOUT a measuring cup on bottle, WOLFGANG and ULTIMA square box on container is a measuring device
The cap is the measuring cup, holds 0.5 ounces.
I’m not the only one doing this, good video .
Huge info Scott, thanks, and so easy to make.
Scott, Have you ever used this mixture? Detail spray and clay lube. I seen this somewhere and have never used Klasse sealant glaze
-1 gallon of DC distilled water
-2 ounces of Wolfgang Uber rinseless wash
-1 ounce of Klasse sealant glaze
Scott: "I won't cross contaminate."
*proceeds to cross contaminate
Yahoo on RUclips: it's me.. I'm the yahoo.
Great video. I just bought the Wolfgang with your affiliate link. Thanks for making this video. It was so helpful!!
and the Emmy award for best instructional video by a Ray Romano impersonator goes to... Excellent vid sir!
I just made a batch an i flippin love it,thanks scott
Thanks a bunch for this excellent info. Can these be used on the interior as well? And are they okay to use on a paint job coated with a ceramic wax?
hey, i really enjoyed this revue, lot of info without getting off track. you are hilarious as well
Scott thanks for the great information on the detail spray!!!!
I bought the pink stuff , it’s amazing, works wonder in the. House as well, awesome at cleaning mirrors and countertops.. awesome video
for all u haters out there change the channel.hes doing this to help us on this on sweat over 25 years worth. this is 4 positive people.all u haters can suck it...sorry Scott i know u laugh at it but no need 4 haters
Scott want to thank you for all the tips and tricks.sorry for all the emails but as u know us people from N.Y. are at very least tenacious.took all ur tips and tricks in.they truly are great. b well.fan and viewer 4 life.
Hey Scott, I love reading negative comments from those out there that must not understand that RUclips videos are made for viewing and are just an opinion, not a must do or a must have! A lot of viewers want to pick it a part and search for something in the vid that they feel is not right/correct in "their eyes"! Just watch if interested or view things that you stand behind! Follow those who you believe in and stop watching and leaving negative comments on vids you keep watching, but continue to disagree?
I might have to try this with Griot’s Garage Rinseless Wash and Wax now. Thanks for the good info.
FAB Automotive Detailing how it turn out that’s actually what I was honking when I seen this video
D JIMENEZ I haven’t had time to try it yet. I plan on trying it soon.
FAB Automotive Detailing -So how’d it turn out?
Craig Encinitas It is awesome!
Great video!
I have all these as detail spray ratios. I have kept the Adam's gallon jugs, and reused them. For each one, I used distilled water.
Hey Scott, thanks a lot for so many nice tips and tricks in your videos.
Just for my own curiosity, when you find out that the QD made by WG rinseless wash being better than the one with Ultimate, are there any situations that you would pick the Ultimate QD rather than the WG QD when you are detailing a car?
Great tips. 🇵🇷
Only because you asked... They are called "dry ingredient measuring cups".
Nothing wrong with your application, but yes, specifically designed for dry and semi solid ingredients.
I use Turtle Wax and Dry. I pour 1/4" of it into a spray bottle and fill up the rest of the spray bottle with water...Works awesome. Gives my black truck that wet look and no streaks even when applying in the direct sunlight. if it should streak just add more water.
Scott,
I love all the information you provide. I am not a professional but a car enthusiast. I am also a Christian. With all the love you express to your viewers, would like to know if you are a Christian. If so, Happy Easter.
Hi thanks for sharing your knowledge and time. Can we use this wolfgang detail spray on our windshield/door glasses? Greetings from Dallas, TX.
Thank you for the insight once again! A lot of detailers are using optimum but it looks like Wolfgang would be more bang for your buck 👍🏼
Scott, nice job, very good tips, thank you.
For hydrophobic chemicals they sure do you mix with water very well
ONR a lot cheaper than the other 2. I use 1:32 as waterless wash, spray and wipe. One car uses about 700ml. But still need to TOP up with spray wax every 2 months. ONR only do the washing and light protection.
Would the wolf gang remove water spots after a wash? How do you remove water spots on a daily basis?
Yeah that's nice and all Scott..... But which one taste better?
Trent Hallmark good question, I will taste tomorrow and let you know..lol
The green one.
Scott I use carpro Ech2o as waterless wash +Detailer spray its awesome left coating element on car .it very slick u should also try my suggestion
Something tells me that ONR tastes like cheap vodka
The pink one is like a strawberries and cream 😜
Wich one do you like best for rinsless wash ? Thank you for this video !
Is the detailer ratio the same as the pre soak for the rinseless wash??
Nice video - thank You Detailing Mystro ! ! !!
what about the onr wash and wax Scott where would that fall compared to those three products?
Scott, watched your old videos regarding removing smoke. My wife bought a car that had been smoked in and I’m having trouble getting all the smells out of the leather. I’ve used super clean at 4:1 and wiped them down really good. Any other tips? I’ve ordered a steamer and citrol 266 but didn’t think I should use those on the leather. Anyway even if you don’t reply thanks for all the videos I would have been lost tackling this job without you.
Ultima Waterless Wash has really good cleaning properties. Not sure about wolfgang. I use ultima and the detergents in there really attack the dirt on vehicles.
Can you use this interior quick cleaner as well?
I’m assuming that with 3z’s to A gallon of distilled water, I can also use that as my waterless wash method? They say 1 ounce to 3 gallons of water but that seems like not enough. My usual process for a waterless wash is I put it in a spray bottle, soak the panel and use a dry towel that I spray some solution on to use to wipe down the panel in one direction or in a snake pattern, then use a dry towel to wipe off and buff dry. My whole point of this is I’m trying to figure out what the right dilution rate is to fill up a 32 or 34 ounce bottle in order to use as my waterless wash or detail spray. And by the way I’m talking about the Wolfgang waterless wash because that’s what I bought so thank you
Amazing video you just saved me a bunch of money. I’ve been spending hundreds a month with Adams and chemical guy due to I’m at a show every Saturday and Sunday. Now I can make my own and save money. I’m a go with Wolfgang. 19.99 for a bottle of concentrated waterless wash and I can make about 10 gallons of the waterless wash is amazing.
Thanks for the tip,
I just made a batch with the wolf gang ,i flippin love it thanks,
Scott, I love your videos. I've learned a lot about detailing. But I have a question:
Why is the concentration for Wolfgang 'detail spray' - 3oz/1gallon - higher than the manufacturer concentration for rinseless car wash - 1oz/3gallons, or even clay lube 1oz/1gallon?
Hey Scott can you please don't know how to use a quick detailer you kind of explain it but I'd really like to see it also if you could talk about a instance you would use it.
Love your videos. Extremely educational and funny. My question to you is would or can you use Chemical guys EcoSmart as a quick detailer? if so, how would you dilute it?
Good video on making your own detail spray
Thanks very much for the video.
Thanks for the great video
Fantastic video. Thank you!
The dollar store has liquid clothes washing detergent with fabric softener. It sound like it would make a good claybar lubricant, but I haven't had time to test it yet.
Great video Scott! I need your help on this: if I'm using a low pressure water pump in stead of the manual sprayer, which dilution rate would you recommend in this case? (to avoid wasting the chemicals) thanks!
Do you use all of them at the same time or the one the one you like best?
You can also make rinsless wash more effective adding soap
Hi Scott, I was thinking last night can this be done with liquid wax to make a spray wax? Amazing video... much love ✌🏼
bajabilly2004 🤔 I know that but maybe mixing it with another product like one of these waterless washes but in less quantity or something like that it can work MAYBE. Im just curious if it can be done some way...
Robert Steelman are you serious? Did you already did it?
Scott can you do a review on aero cosmetics waterless wash and wax pls?
This^ its a cheaper alternative to ONR
Thanks Scott.
Bill The Nye....Yez! Good stuff man
tried the uber for a detail spray $20 FOR the bottle, mixed as you did, i think it's a waste, maybe i'm missing something, i use lucas , super slick, this uber is just like water really, i've even made detail spray from liquid polish, but this just seems like water, doesn't really leave a nice slick finish, what did i miss?
MARTIALCOMBATIVES you missed that spot on your back? These are detail sprays for vehicles not spray tan solutions. Haha sorry
Did you use distilled water? I have used a lot of expensive detailers and this stuff blows me away...
I use the Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Waterless Wash. Do you think the Wolfgang Uber Wash is better?
Have you tried Zep EnviroEdge Truck and Trailer Wash ? it's a touchless wash for the foam cannon
You are the best!
Haven't done the comparison like you have, but in some ways it seems like a bit of a wash just from the outside looking in. Yes you have to use more ONR but those other products are quite a bit more money. If my memory serves correct the Uber is 20 bucks for 16oz same for the Ultima. ONR is $16 for 32oz.
onr is half price but you have to use triple of the product still scott comes on top brother
you can clearly see onr comes so short comparing the other stuff if i am gonna scratch my paint with onr i wouldnt even buy it for 5 bucks
never buying another bottle of onr also smells shitty too
bekir kurt I don't use quick detailer at all. Was just commenting from a far. That being said I use ONR regularly as a rinseless wash and have never scratched my car. Well not visibly anyways. If I put my car under a microscope? Then yeah sure probably has caused some scratches the same way doing a 1 bucket 2 bucket or 87 bucket method.
no matter how you wash your car detail sprays good to have some handy and i learned 2 things from this video thanks to mr scott and his new york education
1. we dont need to buy expensive detail sprays when we can make ours
2. the other two products are better than onr also its cheaper than o n r when you think about the dilution ratio
1 oz wolfgang is better than 2 oz onr whether you use it as a detail spray or waterless wash you got more slickness on any method you use
thanks for kindly reply we have to discuss this stuff with each other to find the right methods or products have a good night
bekir kurt I never said there was anything wrong with a detail spray. I just personally don't use them. That is all.
Do you use this detail spray solution on proffecinal level as.last inspection spray after a.paint correction??? Thanks fir the idea....i usually use sonax bsd firbthis job witch i can buy here for 35usd for 1,5gal of product.
Scott, have you tried the ONR green formula with the carnauba wax? Ive had really good results with it.
Yeah, then it would make this "review" more even. Those other products have some sealants/wax in them, old news in other forums...
I have and Optimum No Rinse with Wax is pretty comparable to Uber and Ultima in terms of shine and slickness. Regular formula ONR is primarily only for cleaning so not a fair comparison. Regular formula ONR does clean very well and cheaper than Uber and Ultima.
Scott have asked this before. Is there anything special about cleaning and protecting a carbon fibre roof such as on an M3/M4?
Thanks
I know this is for a detail spray, but whats the difference in using it as a waterless wash? Would it streak to much or strip any wax? If it doesnt hurt to use this ratio as a waterless wash ill use it as that.
Hey Scott what your opinion on McKee’s rinseless wash idk if ur familiar with it but it would be great if u would do a review as a detail spray thanks keep up the great content 👍
Could you use this to clean the panel during a mutli step paint correction? Sort of like a ipa?
Great video can the Wolfgang be used as a drying aid?
Thanks scott 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
could you use the wolfgang solution for clay bar spray?
1/3 cup = 2.667 us fluid ounces according to the Google converter. Honestly I would have had no idea! So basically it is 1/3rd of an oz less than 3 oz. Close enough.
