6:00 feels like the end of a story. Like when the main characters win, and one of them says something cheesy like "We finally did it." but it's so emotional that you don't care.
"did we do it...
Player?"
*Maybe*
"What do you mean by. Maybe?"
@@Waffle_enjoyer Basically.
End of gta 5 be like
Its very similar to the end of the music: What are you prepared to sacrifice?(Crysis 3)
"Farewell, my brave Hobbits. My work is now finished. Here at last, on the shores of the sea... comes the end of our Fellowship."
6:48 is a masterpiece
I don't know why but at 6:52 I can hear the daft punk robot singing "around the world"
@@TORUXD0 fr
@@TORUXD0 Same
If you listen hard enough you can hear them sing ;( i miss em
I thought I was the only one hearing a faint robotic voice
the only bad thing about this video is that it could be hour long and it would still be short
is that really a bad thing though? XD
This isn't bad. An hour long video would be excellent but it would take a lot of effort.
ruclips.net/video/1_0Ep0s8izk/видео.html
DIMITRIII!!!!!
Beautiful. I hope Daft Punk hear this. I think they would approve.
and they would decide new album, hopefully.
Or that they would hopefully remove their helmets and join the orchestra as lovely musicians they are!
I'm still waiting for a new album
@@DavidRamirez-mr6xn the are currently making a new soundtrack album for a upcoming Movie !
Cool
The Legend of Daft: Punk's Awakening
Link and Zelda is like this...
It should be a crime that they only played 15 seconds of Something About Us
It should be a crime that this video only is 7:47 long
I got chills when they played the intro... and then they moved on to aerodynamic.... I'm still waiting for the rest of it :'(
I mean, imagine how hard it is to just play 15
Glad to hear doin it right tho
it's not even worthy that
I have been a DaftPunk fan since Homework came out in 1997. This is the best reinterpretation of their work I have ever heard.
This is really good but you need to listen to the pentatonix daft punk tribute.
@@mrdjchasm the pentonix tribuite is shit, it just sounds like a shitty pop song from 2013. this orchestral melody is so much better imo.
@@flinngeorge7439 Daft Punk is house music. Pentatonix is acapella pop and this video is orchestral. Don't try and pretend that youre some purist who only is into 90s and 2000s house and orchestral songs but somehow missed enjoying anything with bright vocals... like... you must HATE One More Time... "OMG its SOOOO pop, I can't stand it."
@@mrdjchasm I don't agree with your "but". Pentatonix is good because it's acapella. Kaleidoscope is better. It manages to work emotionally, not just fast.
We seem to like Daft Punk for very different reasons. That's fine. But one type of music is not better than another. And I'm gonna solidly say that the Daft Punk tribute by Pentatonix is a great arrangement: its mastered exceptionally well, you vibes of each section is identifiable and easy to listen too, and the arrangement has excellent progression composition. This orchestral arrangement is great for different reasons but not the ones I just listed.
The fact that the Aerodynamic beginning sounds like Touch makes me smile
Jonathas Queiroz Ribeiro Moraes I legit thought it was touch
It wasn’t enough for me, I NEED SOMETHING MORE
totaly. this video definitively has GIVEN ME TOO MUCH TO FEEL
Someone call Daft Punk’s manager and let them know what they just caused here...absolute inspiration
69 likes and im not gonna ruin it
Everyone else is focused on the music, but I just kept trying to figure out that one violinist’s unusual pants.
Yeah like racer pants
Did you ever figure them out tho?
When you gotta play Daft Punk at 12 but got a street race at 3
i absolutely love them, what an ego statement!
I didn’t say I didn’t like them. I’ve just never seen anything like them and was trying to figure out what they would look like when she’s standing and whether they were just one clothing item or separate pants, leggings, and boots.
Damn, this brought me tears
Me too, brother. Me too😥. This is beautiful in so many ways!
Me three
me four
Me five
Me six
I'd say you're...
Doin' it right
haha I see what you did there. I would say that it could have been Lucky for you that I caught that, but then again I see it happening One more Time.
I hope this video goes AROUND THE WORLD
I was expecting something a little Better from you guys. You guys need to work Harder at these puns.
@@realmvision21_58 i dunno it maybe something about us maybe it's the musique our puns don't suit how aerodynamic it is
Stop fighting, we don't want any physical CONTACT
Being a Daft Punk fan AND a Classical Music listener myself, this is precious!
Great job, this could easily be on an adventure movie
Yep it's very well executed as well!
yeah like about a super suave British Spy With a licence to kill
It was more than an imitation, it was an perfectly adapted arrangement. Sounds like everything was composed to be classic.
@@lelemsays that's thing about daft punk their music could be played in any way
@@ultimatepotato192
Yesss
That Around The World ending was sooooo James Bond-ish. Love it to bits. Would love to see that in a Bond movie
yessssssssssss
Yup
So you are here for this? (6:00) around the World the end of Daft Punk
ruclips.net/video/-ad-FMuMDMU/видео.html
Yes
This arrangement is a testament to just how musical many of Daft Punk's hits are. The music itself is produced very thoughtfully, with complex conversations, with undertones and overtones sprinkled throughout these movements and pieces. Daft Punk doesn't make techno... they create music. Huge props to the arranger, the orchestra, and the production crew for putting this out there for all of us to enjoy!
Josh Withrow while, I get what you’re saying, Techno is still music.
@@rct3isepic Of course it is. But when I think of something being "musical", personally (my own opinion), much of it lacks enjoyable musicality. I was just trying to say that the way this music is created and directed that it isn't your run of the mill, generic, thoughtless arrangement.
@@JoshWithrow i agree. Your wording was a bit strange sounding
They don't make techno, majority of the stuff is house
Václav Trampeška as a House musician myself, I know that. But there’s still a lot of people using it as a catch all term for any electronic music
They should have made a circular stair ascending stage for Around the World and started walking up and down it while playing
Was really anticipating the bassline to come in from the strings :(
@@axelfs2532 the bassline is indeed an unfortunate omission, still quite enjoyable but definitely would have been better. not sure about the stage tho hahahaha
that would be the best thing ever!!!
most likely easier said than done
If you came here today, know that you weren't alone.

Watched you guys in London last night. Amazing performance 👏 Anyone reading this comment should go and book tickets!
Thank you!! ❤️
Oh my gosh and they are free!? I will surely come see if ever in LA. This Daft Punk composition was fantastic, thank you for sharing
I am crying right now it is fantastic

Now we can tell our children that this music is literally classic lol
Farewell my friends. See you starside. #DaftPunkForever
Around the world on the Trumpet is one the sweetest sounding thing I've ever heard
I actually cried listening to this. 10 year old me would be proud.
1. They should totally make a "Interstellar 5555" -esque animation to this!
2. Wouldn't it be awesome if Daft Punk comes back and samples from this track, it'd be like inspire-ception
Have Studio Ghibli do a short film matching this cause the lushness of it all reminds me of Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke
Daftpunk Music Videos are already anime about aliens kidnapped by music industry mogul and forced to be band on Earth.
bad news...

Here's a nice orchestral rendition of Flynn Lives from the TRON: Legacy movie: ruclips.net/video/MeqeWF8pkAE/видео.html
Thanks. I know of that, watched it literally 100's of times.
AH YES, just imagine Solar Sailor
Yes
There needs to be a remake of Interstellar 5555 with this soundtrack.
I legitimately need a full version of One More Time. It was so triumphant, heroic even. It was the one track that gave me goosebumps. Great work!
I openly weeped at One More Time, because i would love to se them come back...
One. More. Time.
Their version of around the world bring tears to my eyes, as they truly did go *around the world* before they split.
Here after Daft Punk broke up. 2021 hits hard.
Don't know why, but this reminded me of the old Ghibli's soundtracks
This is so well composed... it is breathtaking.6:48
We done so much
So many smiles on their faces
We are satisfied.....
May our story end and new beginning begin.
Perfect, i got eargasm
Props on who did the arrangement (and the orchestra playing it). So good. Just love how much musical space harder better faster stronger has to explore.
Brilliant arrangement! Often times when they make songs like this into orchestral versions they sound too simplistic. This arrangement managed to keep the original sound of the songs but also make it sound as if a classical composer wrote it.
My heart is about to leave my chest.💓💓💓 I'm not okay. This is too beautiful. Thank you so much.
I’ve had this on repeat for the longest time and it feels like a good time to come back. This will forever be legendary.
When the two parts completely merge together (1:36) something really nice and special happen inside me.
One More Time sounds like an epic Final Fantasy ballad! Love your work everyone.
6:54 Weird how I can still hear the vocals
this is too good; now it makes me want to hear all of Daft's songs in orchestra arrangement. damn you scuba steve!
I just found this after the Epilogue the other day and ngl it hits pretty hard. T_T
The roll over in to aerodynamic sent shivers down my back, very well done (like always).
Stay safe, and thank you for keeping us entertained.
I love everything about this, but the woodwinds during Doin It Right were so perfect
If only the “something about us” segment was a lil longer :( one of my all time favs but still an amazing performance
Especially the beginning. I would have never thought that robot rock could be so dramatic. The medley is really perfectly orchestrated. Thank you!
*One More Time plays

what a fuckin master piece here
" recording this one back in February!"
Pre-social distancing days. Oh how we long for them.
The songs sound industrial, like a steampunk setting and I love it. Your team did an amazing job!
The slow building up in 5:23... those four instruments playing along, just gave me chills
6:48 gave me chills
I'd wish turn back time and heard Daft Punk for the first time.

This got tears out of my eyes... it is an Incredible arrangement and interpretation by this young souls.
The happiest time in my life was when I practised and played music everyday in the jazz band, concert band, and especially jazz band. I miss it so much.
Sounds like music from Studio Ghibli
my thoughts exactly!
Me too
I had the same thought too - and then had to see if they have done any Ghibli stuff, because they would be wonderful if they did.

This unfortunately has a new air of sadness to it... beautiful as it is.
BRAVO! BRAVISSIMO! This arrange, the orchestra, the conductor, freaking EVERYTHING are talented! This almost got me into tears more than 3 times... I just wished each song were longer, but it is a good thing. I didn't wanted this experience to be over so soon
This is so amazing. Years and years living with these songs and now we can hear them in this way. Please do a second! I can think of plenty other Daft Punk songs that deserve this well done treatment.
Sounds fantastic!
I'm in TEARS. This was so good, especially 1:45 to 1:54 and 5:22 to 5:55. I had goosebumps. Thanks so much for this, I hope they see this because this is amazing.

Well that was fantastic. First of all Steve Pycroft, wow man good job ! I dont even know what to say about your work. And the orchestra live it, its lovable. I really hope daft punk eventually listen to it. It would show them a dramatically different perspective of their music.
Oh man, such a great job! 😍 Well done!👏👏👏
