...arriving in Southport for the bike meet....

...at the Carousel at the pier...after travelling for a while from Liverpool on the A565. After a quick shuftie around the bikes , I go for a rum n' raisin ice cream and a bottle of Dr. Pepper ...after watching the Elvis impersonator on stage in the burning sunshine - it felt like it was in the high 70's - how long is this heatwave gonna last ?!

...it's always nice to meet a viewer - thanks very much for watching. I made it to the St. Annes bike meet without flaking out due to hunger , and I had chips, peas, gravy and a spud pie and a pot of tea at the 'Seafarers' cafe !

I was trundling around there at 0600 this morning. There was nobody at the carousel, which suited me just fine.

.....see the car door open at 05:50 ...?....that's the danger of filtering - but luckily they checked their mirror...or heard my exhaust !
