Vintage Footage of Southend-on-Sea from the 1950s/1960s including Kursaal Amusement Park

We often come across old boxes of long forgotten films and photographs on our outings.
Upon finding a box of cine films, we thought it would be a good idea to get them digitised to uncover the mystery and secrets the previous owner had captured.
Part of the allure of these videos is wondering why the person behind the camera captured these moments specifically. What did they want to remember from that little moment in time? This we'll never know but we're happy to share these abandoned gems for all to see.

Yes its Romford Market, at first I thought I was watching the wrong link, then realised it was shot from a car travelling to Southend.
