This kind of run, I don't know how it's possible with a controller. You'd 99% need a steering wheel for that level of control at these speeds. Or 500+ hours in game
@@A21music Focus on completing the stages without significant damage first, then only start shaving time when you can do that consistently. Definitely harder than it sounds.

I was stuck at the first stage for a long ass time cause i kept crashing when turning as much as i could, and even if i did manage to complete it my times were dog shit compared to the others. Turns out the fulvia is just shit at everything, slow acceleration, so easy to understeer and just crap handling in general. I hoped on the mini cooper and it was far easier to handle and much more possible to complete stages in one piece in good times and far more consistently
The Quattro has its own Policy; if you see a straight road, plank it, but until you learn how it controls, go very slow on turns. This is how the Quattro worked, it went slow on turns but it's advantage against it's rivals was that it goes full sending within seconds

Trial and error is the only way to make these kinds of runs. I do this on beamng and while driving skills do help, its more about just doing it so many times that you get through with all the best bounces
I still have fun with it and I think the stages are super cool, but the driving physics on non tarmac surfaces feel quite a bit meatier to me in Dirt Rally 2 than WRC9. (OP probably would have much more valuable insight)

I'm a beginner in Dirt Rally 2.0 in this stage with the same car i'm 1min+ behind you :D Have to learn the car better for car control and the stage i think ;) Pretty impressive to see how fast you are, how good you control the car and the stage knowledge (cutting ect)! And i love the 5 cylinder sound from the Audi ♥
Setups are important for the Quattro, low front sway and high sway in the back on gravel will help, same with spring rates. Dampers closer to - 3 - 4 on gravel ( low grip) the complete opposite for high grip stages ( Germany and Spain)
I'm a relatively new player in Dirt Rally 2.0. I have read some of the comments and saw that the setup is very importaint in this car. So I would love it, if you would share some setup stats on how to make the quattro feel more controllable. I have not fiddled around with any kind of setup apart from tires and camber. Would love some feedback! 😀
I don't quite remember my setup and I didn't save it but I would say you should put slow bump in the Damping setting to about -2 and spring rate about to the middle or little bit firmer. I don't remember what did I do with fast bump in Damping setting but you can try out which is better + or - :) Also Differentials should be more locked because its a fast rally (not many slow corners)
When you learn a track so well, you almost never slow down. I remember doing the same in DiRT 5, I think it was a track in Italy? With a long asphalt road in the beginning. Loved it

That's really amazing, congratulations. But I would point out one thing: playing at low grass settings is a lot easier than playing at high. I speak from experience
its interesting that car is sitting on its position, no turning over, track dont kick you to rollover the car if you hit corners on track etc....i think i have absolutly different version of dirt rally 2....

Because it's quicker. To drift an hairpin is beautiful yet practical, because you can do it in one run and leave already full gas.

it's because those paths are so narrow in direct comparison to most other motorsports where you drive cars with speed of 200km/h and above

Thank you. Yes, suspension was like more in the middle :D but slow bump damping was on the - side, about -2 or -3 :)

Yeah they felt very good too :D With stock setup car bounced a lot and was unstable with high speeds but softer suspension made it great :)
