I was thinking, “50 minutes? Ain’t nobody got time for that!” I pressed play and next thing I know you were done! Bravo👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿. You cut right to the chase-no fluff, no nonsense. One of the best tutorials I’ve seen. I learned a great deal! Thank you! R
Heyyy sup fikus.. I was lookin 4 ur email addy so I can contact u about purchasing mpc one lessons from u ASAP. I am sooo frustrated cuz I have all these dope beats n mashups n creations in my head jus swirling around nite n day nonstop n I can’t figure out 4 the life of me how to arrange it into a proper song using my mpc one. I mean somethings I have figured out by trial n error but I need 2 learn this machine ASAP plzzzz help 🙏🏽🤯
Hey bro i appreciate this one 🔥🔥! hadn’t come across any videos this detailed, i got a folder with 40 unfinished beats bc the task just seemed too daunting lol. i’m gonna spend my next few days off completing those joints with the help you provided. Thank you man!🙏🏾
Magnificent video from start to finish! As a beginner I’d recommend everyone to watch this! I don’t know if you’re supposed to use the same workflow for every song but It looks like this workflow could work every time.
Thank you for this video is really of easy understanding , at first when i saw for the very first time it was to much information to retain even being well explained but i said to myself i need to re watch a couple of times to understand and memorize the techniques because you resume everything that is necessary for a song construction from the sample recording to chop them up , select drums add percs , create sequences and the list goes on and on , i gotta say back in 2022 when i purchased my MPC One i watched some videos but i gave up on trying to learn for laziness and disinterest and i forgot certain techniques even being simple that i learned from other youtubers videos but this year i took of the closet a couple of times the mpc i didn't make a beat yet and i found your tutorial and is useful and more detailed and you learn a lot with this video because after this video even certain things that you say to yourself i don't know how to do it I go for myself to other youtubers channels to figure it out how to do it to learn more. Finally i gotta say they should invite you to be part of a DVD where you explain this techniques even RUclips being existent for this type of tutorial , thanks for your help.
I just got this mpc one I know it's my second post but you taught me all I needed to know after about a whole week of absorbing this and other vids but this is the main one I learned from you did a good job main.. thanks..
A month ago l downloaded this video(for personal use only) and within 5-6 hours l managed to create a ,a melody and the rest is history,Massive thank you for sharing the knowledge Marcello!,💪🏽👍🏽
Wow my man, thanks so much for doing this extensive tutorial, I've had my MPC ONE for a couple of months and I've been struggling to get to grips with it, to the piont I have been thinking of selling it on. I've learnt a lot from watching your video, so when I get time I'll be sure to try out your methods. Best tutorial I've watched by far...thanks brother. Subscribed.👍
4:19 I'm sure you already knew but instead of activating full level if you click on "process" you can then select "normalize" and it'll bring your samples to normal volume level.
8:28 that’s why i get the bpm of the sample before starting a beat. But this tutorial is amazing for beginners at mpc one like me.. so glad I found this video
The best MPC transfer course on YT. Let me explain. I just upgraded from a #MPC1000 #BlueBox to a MPCOne. Using a MPC, is pretty much the same… but still different. Your video helped me hone in and better my MPC skills. 🖖🏾
Wow! I had to stop at 16:21 to say thanks in advance for the detailed shortcuts during this tutorial. There have been some pretty good tutorials out there covering the MPC One, but I have to say man you get down to business with no fluff. About to finish this right now. Thanks again!
Hands down one of the best MPC one tutorials I've seen yet! A lot of gems in here! I appreciate this fam! Ill be supporting and purchasing your drum kit as well! Keep up the good work!
i thought it was going to be too long but it worked out in the end. i appreciate it. i just bought my mpc one 2 weeks ago and this video helped i think i am going to watch it again. peace ☮️ ✌️
I never thought about handling 808s as individual samples and tuning them! I always tune the sample and use the keyboard function on Maschine/MPC keygroup. That’s an interesting approach that I’ll have to try
Such a great tutorial!!!! However, if you are starting with absolutely no knowledge on the MPC, I recommend watching a very basic one first that goes through all the things the MPC has to offer. Once you got a grip on how to navigate through it, then this tutorial is fantastic for tying a lot of its functions in together. I no longer feel lost now 😌
Thank You SOOOOO Much for all the MPC video's!! They have helped and I'm sure will continue to help A LOT and I appreciate your time and detail. I'm sure I just haven't ran into it yet, but WHERE did you get the Japanese sample you used in the beginning? Is there an app? Thank You again for your time, much peace and respect to you!
great video no nonsense and well explained. Flows through each part nicely and gives a good insight into how you create beats. An essential for newer Mpc users!
Fantastic! Can you assign tracks to different midi channels? I just wanna trigger the sounds from Cubase, that mpc sequencer is a bit too overwhelming for me..
Would love if you did a masterclass just on bass techniques with the mpc one: sample-drum vs sample-keygroup vs plugin vs drum-synth and compared the sounds and techniques for each, along with some effects, glides, and stacks to help the sound.
Very helpful. Will replay this (at half speed maybe) and follow along with my own sounds. Great tips for levels and mixing, as well as chopping and navigation. Thankyou! Liked and already subscribed.
Great video, I would really really like an insight into how many people have got this unit and what they consider the learning process is? On a scale of one to ten how many months did it take you to get used to using it and making a track
Thanks!! mmmh I would say it took me a few months, but I invested a lot of time.. In the beginning its hard to wrap your head around the mpc structure..sequences, tracks and programs..but once you get the basics, it will be easier to learn.. i would say its harder to learn than the maschine for example..I made my first beat in the first few days..but I also had a lot of beatmaking experience..used to make beats on the mpc 500 and on maschine..so that depends..if you're a total beat making beginner, it will take longer..
Thank you so soooo much I would have given up on all my half finished beats if it wasn’t for YOU and your extremely helpful videos especially this one ☝🏽please continue to keep making mpc one videos there r a lot of people out here like me that need you lol 😝
The video is impressive, the best on RUclips, the most direct, clear and practical (perhaps despite being able to put Stop in the Workflow Tutorial some things are a bit quick for beginners) and of course, I absolutely consider subscribing! 🏁 Marrcello would be great if you could do another Workflow Tutorial exploring and sharing other forms of production you use... Consider this You have a lot of talent to share!
your videos and the price of the mpc one inspired me to finally get a mpc myself cause i wanted a "maschine" that does not require a pc connection while still providing a dope workflow. guess i will have some fun tommorow when it arrives and a good start with videos like this. the excitement is real
I just grabbed the MPC one to start my journey into beat making. Is using a standalone a good idea out the gate. My music background is literally me teaching myself what little I know but this my passion. And advise is greatly appreciated. Am I jumping in to deep? This vid was amazing and very helpful. Holler at me bro cause I would love to take classes from you! ✌️
Hey Trey, sorry for the late response..sometimes I oversee comments..I appreciate it! Awesome! Dont pressure yourself..try to sit down regularly and practice making a beat on the mpc..its like muscle that needs exercise and a routine.. Sure I do skype sessions, just hit me up at info@marrcello.de :)
Very interesting and cool I will say, but why would you want to do all that work on such a small screen instead of a laptop with something like Logic or Ableton?
When I scroll through my drum sounds on my SD card, I have to play them individually as I scroll. I see you are scrolling and as you scroll it plays the drum sound. How did you do that?
Hey Marcello, thanks for the tutorial! I was wondering, have you found any workaround for clearing all note events on a track while the sequencer is running? I know you can hold pads + erase, but thats kind of a drawn out process when you're jamming with someone and just want to move on to another idea... for some reason that Erase window is only available when the MPC is stopped. Seems like the kind of thing I could have accepted with earlier boxes, but not today....
This is awesome wow, I love it all bro 🔥🔥🔥 you make it look so easy, and sound so great!!! I'm finna watch the entire video again! Great work flow 💯💪🏾 do another video like this with the akai mpc live PLEASE!!!!
This is one of the best...if not the best MPC One workflow videos I've seen. This is decent man! Was wondering what is that app you were using on your phone? It has a pic of a turntable.
Thank you my bro. You're a big help cuz I just got mine and I've never had an MPC before but I'm getting the hang of it now thanks to you 👍 That beat you made was super dope too

You’re amazing my 👍🏻 dude!!! You break things down perfectly!!👌🏻🎯💯✅
The mpc is so powerful. I suggest everyone spend a good year just exploring it. Don’t give up on it.

No thats not a problem..

Thanks so much, great help 👍
What's the best way to mix a sample that already has bass in it? I have the hardest time getting this right..
Thanks!
Very interesting and cool I will say, but why would you want to do all that work on such a small screen instead of a laptop with something like Logic or Ableton?
I learned a lot, feel like you just elevated my game... Thank you...!!!
absolutely a great time to watch this. very educational. I haven't started so quickly on my mpc one. but this is a huge help!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Outstanding!!
Just amazing! Eazy, simply and really useful video! Thanks! 👍
When I scroll through my drum sounds on my SD card, I have to play them individually as I scroll. I see you are scrolling and as you scroll it plays the drum sound. How did you do that?
Thank you for this kind sir.
Great tutorial. Thank you for this video
Thanks a lot! Sure thing:)
Thx so much!! finally a good way to do 808 slides

Too man. More like this please. Peace.
🙌🏼🙋🏻♂️alright!✌🏼
Very nice explained. I thinking about to get one. Thx fore sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
sick tutorial mate. really helped me get the hang of my MPC!
Glad it helped!"! Thanks!
Yo good vid where you get the old Japanese sample? I'm subscribing now.
Thanks! I found it on RUclips..:) Just searched for old Japanese music or so..
Yup I found them good looking👍👍
I just added your channel. You deserve more than 10k subs for all this work you do. 😁
Great video man
This is awesome wow, I love it all bro 🔥🔥🔥 you make it look so easy, and sound so great!!! I'm finna watch the entire video again! Great work flow 💯💪🏾 do another video like this with the akai mpc live PLEASE!!!!

Do the pads make a clicking sound each time you press them or is the camera mic that sensitive?
Good info. Thanks!
You're welcome!

Glad it was helpful! Salute from Berlin!!

Created the whole song on one program.
Is there a way to send them to different tracks to be able to play them with track mute?
Thank you for the videos, very helpful! Taught me more about the hardware!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

THANKS A LOT !! 🙌🙏 its actually RUclips :) The video just has a pic of turntable ^^
Lol oh ok 👍
So as long as I can connect my phone to the MPC One, I can use it for sound files to sample from? Like from RUclips, or whatever?
