Try Married with Children by Oasis from the same album....
You know what kills me is they are even better live and i have seen them 3 times everytime even better. Cant beat their first 2 albums though never to be repeated. Cheers again from ireland all the memories contained in these songs wow.
The Slide Away ending is incredible live, that’s what it was made for! You wouldn’t get bored of the live version!
'Gas Panic!' by Oasis - Check it out
Best comment I ever saw for this one, was where a guy said "It makes me really miss someone I never knew!"
Biggest band since the Beatles in the uk
Not even close...but nice try. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_biggest_selling_British_acts_of_all_time 31st, after Coldplay, Duran Duran and Culture Club, not exactly groundbreaking is it?. And to make a further point, as good as some of their records were, many of their melodies and structures were simply stolen from existing music. For example "Whatever" www.radiox.co.uk/artists/oasis/whatever-meaning-lyrics-lawsuit/ ,Hello is recognisably by the execrable Garry Glitter and Shakermaker is "I'd like to teach the world to sing" by the New Seekers. Sales of 98 million units is laudable and a great achievement, but if we can get the facts right we can recognise that they were, almost more than any other band I can think of, purely of their time and their place. Their relevance now is with older people reliving their childhood or youngsters starved of good music who'll listen to almost anything if its sold to them as "great". The Beatles comparisons are cheap and lazy, their claims to greatness hollow at best and the profundity of their lyrics was largely misunderstood playschool doggerel. Noel's pretty cool though.
@@evewedgbrow1983 you a little salty?
@@evewedgbrow1983 behave, tell me which ones on that list has 5% of population applying for tickets. At the time, they did the biggest indoor and outdoor gigs in British history.
@@evewedgbrow1983 also, no one download music pre 90s, that helps just a little bit with album sales!! Culture Club lmfao
Eve Wedgbrow did I not say the uk?
Me and first gf's song. Magic
Oasis are notorious for long endings.. 😂 It's just passion.. they're just feeling it.. try the Oasis song: 'Gas Panic!'
This didn't slide away quick enough..
Man, you let those repeated lyrics take you out of the music flow at the end. You should have just rolled with it and slide away in that champagne supernova, until you were half a world away!
