I'm impressed. Its about time I see a metal drummer who actually plays and beats the hell out of his drums. Triggers are there; but not the basis of his sound or technique. I'm definitely a fan. However, wonder why he prefers the dry sound of those coated heads though? Interesting.

Coated drum heads have more punch to them
If I remember correctly from my research coated heads are warmer and not as bright as clear coated heads. So he gets a warmer low tone thats desired in metal. I use a 2 ply coated batter head for that reason along with a 2 ply resonant head. The result i get is a wholesome tone with close to no resonance and noticeable notes. Sounds great micd up too.

Prawda, im więcej praktyki, tym łatwiej się gra. Sam próbuję teraz opanować grę samymi palcami (Flying Fingers), więc lecę od nowa z nauką. Wcześniej używałem bardziej nadgarstków, niż palców i po dwugodzinnym graniu myślałem, że mi ręce odpadną. Tutaj widać dobrze moją technikę sprzed roku:

No it's not him, it was Krimh , he played on album and tour, Pavulon replaced him later after Krimh left band.
Nope, guys, the drums on Carnival were recorder by Kerim 'Krimh' Lechner (now in Septicflesh).
But Pavulon's done some sick parts for Antigama, check their last releases!

Could be, I'm not sure. But it sounds similar as a ride he plays in an older Antigama video, Stop the Chaos live. And he was still playing Paiste back then.
It has the same color as a pure alloy line. Maybe its a prototype Meinl made.

Marin Pjanić That's a pet peeve I always had with this drummer, very noticeable when he was with Vader. Very fast and able drummer, but for some reason he decides to use a very dry sound, with no dynamics. The drums don't stand put in sound, they are only there like a machine gun but that's it.
