Inferno is one of the best. What's even more awesome is to see how he uses the double bass drums while wearing boots.

Can someone inform me about positioning of sm57 on snare? In the venue I used to work we were positioning a little bit higher and pointing just a little bit off center. Why did they choose to position this way? What are the pros and cons?

Inferno is obviously great but damn does he not hit hard. Seems like he has mastered the rebound and letting the microphones do their work, kind of approach. Which is a hard thing in itself :)
Work smarter, not harder ;). If triggers are involved, I believe using tricks might be smartest thing to do in order to preserve energy
@@SatanicWarbringer Yeah,. that's it for sure. I'm slowly learning to control rebound with the left hand, does wonders for blast beats :)
