So underrated and barely on the radar when people talk about "best drummers" but he makes the whole vand and people barely even notice how insanely good he is
I'm not into metal but you gotta respect that speed and precision. And it's refreshing to see a metal drummer who doesn't try to crack their crashes on every downbeat
+jamdwhi death metal as a whole sounds all the same, it's infested with triggers and drummers who use them because they hit like little girls, which is why I cannot stand this music, I enjoy a lot of metal and metal sub genres but death metal is boring as hell. If he didn't have triggers he would sound even more horrid than he already does.
What's wild is that's not even the fastest he or other drummers can play. I always wonder what time feels like to drummers that play at these speeds when they are performing.
@@ThaBeatConductor personally I don't have a clue about how much time when playing. I don't experience "time" at all. I can play for hours and it feels like 30 minutes. Doesn't matter if I'm playing behemoth or acdc or even slow jazz songs.
@@jonathanmellqvist2 I don't mean the passing of time, more like are they able to subdivide time better or "slow time down". I wonder the same thing with any person that plays any instrument super fast, but I feel like it's more pronounced on drums. I suspect it's more about training ones brain the just know when something is right versus when it isn't. I'd imagine a lot of it is just too fast for 100% conscious control. Also, I'd imagine anyone that can jam on an instrument loses track of time really easily, as that is always what it feels like to me when playing or making music.
@@ThaBeatConductor"what it feels like to drummers at this speed" I'm a mediocre drummer but a pro sax player. My input here is when I'm playing fast I actually have to think slow. There's a lot of time spent slow for precision. And how it feels to be slow then keep that slow feel into fast. It's a lot of work. Any mistake at speed, I'll slow down to get it more precise. It's a lot of muscle work and any time I've thought of it as "fast" I've failed. I'm a very rhythmic sax player so I think my experience can relate to these drummers.
@@dustins382 I understand the mental space/processing or lack there of required to be fast, I meant more strictly time perception. I bet it's like a blink and it's over kind of feel? Since one essentially has to consciously "tap-out" because actually thinking about what you're doing is gonna mess you up when going fast. Just gotta let "muscle memory" take over.
The two things I admire the most about this type of drumming/music(not into it myself)is the process of creating it must be intense structure and repetition-wise,and the precision of application live given no time for error remembering the changes and structure.....most people can't remember their own phone numbers... Awesome
if you really look at it, he seems so relaxed playing so fast like that. His footwork and handle techniques are all designed for precision so he doesn't need to move much
Being an Extreme metal vocalist, I love watching drummer's....A lot of people think singer's sing off the guitars or bass...That duel drumming was sic!!
Inferno has been around for a HELL of along time Drummers at his age and time are long gone hes right up there with George from Nile !!!!!!!!!!!!!! LONG LIVE BEHEMOTH \m/ \m/
that play of toms at the end will end the war in the middle east. for sure. tim young should take notes about extreme drumming because inferno is the father of extreme drumming right now.
It's kind of funny when you go back and watch metal drummers from back in the day in that they played with so much ferocity and power and now days everything is geared to be so fast and articulate that these guys don't play with much power at all. Not that it's a bad/good thing it's just something I notice.
I think Inferno and Eloy Casagrande are the two best metal drummers of this time. What's interesting is that they're both on opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to playing style. Eloy makes drumming look like the most physically demanding activity in the universe; when I watch Eloy playing, I know for a fact I can't do any of that. Inferno, on the other hand, makes it look as simple as something can be.
33 people can't hear the song so they can't see how perfectly the drumming supports the music. Dynamics, Precision, Creativity.......whats the problem?
the add-on drummer gives meaning to be 'at the left hand ov god'
x2
Left side. . . . . .
Ahahahahahahahaha
Don't care how many times I've seen videos of Inferno playing this song, it never gets old. Dude is a machine, always has been and always will be.
Inferno Is One Of The Best Drummers Metal History has ever witnessed. 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟

This sounds like the the cymbal room at Guitar Center while some dude is playing blast beats outside on one of the Roland kits.
Mike Patton me as fuck
I love how when that second drummer comes in his left hand keeps in time with him and the rest of his drumming is at a different beat
Ok, its official. Inferno isn't human. He's a high ranking demon from the depths of hell summoned to drum for behemoth. HAIL Behemoth!
Dude uses more chinas than trump in a presidential debate.
HAHAHAHAHAHA DUDEEEEE
LMAOOO SO HARD
You can never have enough Chinas, I use three and I only use 11 cymbals.
He has the best chinas, you'll see. There's no chinas like his chinas. They are the greatest.
travish325 I'll give you a B- for effort
His touch is amazing. He plays effortlessly, so much technique.
polish machine man. cant imagine being on tour with behemoth and playing these songs, night after night! amazing performance!
Inferno is the Lombardo of our generation. His drum lines and patterns are so memorable.
Absofuckinlutely. He's one of those distinctive drummers. You hear it and you immediately know it's him.
He sounds like every other death metal drummer.
+NathanXdrums I can tell my favorite drummers apart pretty easily actually. So no they don't all sound the same.

His drumming was so epic it brought GG Allin back from the dead.

Absolutely love the drums in this songs. Still one of my favorites.
He makes it look so simple and easy...
Drums are the instrument that sparked my interest in Extreme Metal
Inferno and Orion are my favourite rhythm section
Hell Hammer is a great one to look

never in my life have i seen a kit look so un-freaking-comfortable but seen a guy play it so flawlessly
He’s so relaxed! He doesn’t hit the cymbals very hard at all. Major respect!
This man owns... really cool ending too
Being an Extreme metal vocalist, I love watching drummer's....A lot of people think singer's sing off the guitars or bass...That duel drumming was sic!!
Inferno always reminds me of what power, technique and creativity would be like all rolled into one. He’s a beast and demigod
his great technique and marvelous drumsets. priceless.

I dont think i’ve ever heard a better sounding kit in my life
What strength and power in the feet, it's amazing!
Cool ending with the tech having some fun.
very unique style within the genre! not the most powerful or heavy hitter but his creativity is amazing, you can recognize him immediately.
what a light and powerful touch he has
Hail Inferno! Tasty and articulate. Killer timing and a powerful groove. Love how this beast plays the skins.
In order to make his drumming more metal he should use more china cymbals.
Lars Ulrich took this advice too seriously haha
valid advice
*Just love watching this video .... He's truly virtuoso artist*
Inferno is totally bad ass behind the kit! Probably the best extreme metal drummer there is.
Awesome, I hope you guys upload some more of him.
Beast! So Awesome!
When He's blasting I have goose bumps!
I believe it's Inferno's drum tech at the end there. I recall seeing him do this before, maybe on an older DVD.
He does it everytime i think bro,
He also did it when KRIMM was replacing Inferno when he was in the hospital
He was the drummer of Lost Soul
Inferno. He's one of the original bad ass drummers from a way back. Who was that with him at the end?

phos4usredeemer Badass drummer from way back, seriously!? That just shows how very little you really know about “Badass drummers from way back” kiddo.
Needs more China
Jared Fitzgerald
and cowbell
I assume that bloody dude is one of Behemoths road crew and that's why he's at every show to play on this song
This is really not the kind of music I like listening to, but they seem to be really good at what they are doing. Keep this up!
