Thank for the inspiration, I love actual knits not only intentions, even if they are old, and it is still better to be sure you wore them, when and why and how they aged.
Love this video. I much prefer this concept opposed to the what I want to knit videos. I am all about the mindful projects these days and trying to knit things I will wear and love instead of picking projects based on how pretty the item looks on someone else 😊
I really love this concept of talking about the seasonal items you already made and love! I love the fall inspiration videos, but this is actually refreshing!
So nice to see the tried and true knits! This is actually my first autumn as a knitter so I am already curious to see what will be my favorites next year ☕ Happy Knitting from Germany!
Just found your channel.. as a mother of women who are your age, I agree with your mother about not foraging mushrooms! Apart from that… can you tell us, show us, how to line a hat with a felted jumper, please? My husband keeps asking me to line his hat. Thank you. Loved the video. Fin
ahah dont worry i won't be! i am restricting myself to point and shouting "mushroom!" and taking a photo and leaving it at that :) i will share about the hats when i do it.... i should do that soon...
Just found your channel. I live near Sheffield but Birmingham born and bred. So nice to find a podcast from my hometown. I also have red hair so I am drawn to the same colours as you. Loved the content, more patterns added to my faves!
I just discovered your channel and I’m so glad! I also knit the Alaska sweater and love the pattern. I knit the hat as well. Happy Autumn! See you next time!
So nice to see some of these projects again! I've knitted a cropped version of the Minimalist Cable, but have never worn it as I have put on weight. I did enjoy knitting it. I far prefer pieced garments, easier on the hands and seem to go much faster, also the structural benefits, of course. My favourite garments at the moment are a Lopi Felix Cardi and a sleeveless Rauwerk Chaika - I too wear dresses all the time, and these both work well. Looking forward to wearing a newly knitted Twigs but today has been balmy. I love your Daughter of a Shepherd shawl, I have plenty of similar wool and am very tempted to cast one on, it's so nice in that colour. Thanks for making another interesting episode!
thanks so much for your comment :) a lopi felix sounds the absoulte squsihy best (i would love to knit a rust one). the birds of a feather is lovely in rustic wool
I love my minimalist cable cardigan that we did together, and my Brontë sisters shawl, that’s so autumnal. My absolute favourite jumper is another of Jennifer Steinglass’ patterns though, it’s wintery in colour but just super super comfortable, it’s the Meadow Moon sweater xx
I shall probably be knitting another ’Dead Easy’ by Karin Fernandes, I’ve knitted three in Debbie Bliss Donegal, but two have been nabbed by daughters 🤭! Would also love to try The Mount Pleasant tee, which looks like a really useful garment. Love your channel 👍.
Your description is missing the Alaska pullover! Camille ? In Gotland wool. It is gorgeous and that chart is just what l am needing for a panel with a varigated pink/white/blue yarn in the background . . . Planned to be like winter trees and sky here in southern Sweden.
My favorite knit for the autumn has to be ‘Hillary Fluff and the magic fungi’ , a very fall colored cardigan designed by Bunnimuff that I made in holst supersoft…
afraid i dont aha there arent any really! the yarn shop i have been to the most is Loop London...!! (I sometimes have to go to work in London so often go via loop!)
its was called christines in Bournville- think it is called City Knits now though- it has a small selection- ok for WYS but thats about it@@charlottelay8220
Hi sorry these videos take ages to make and edit and I dont have the time to add all the links too. You should be able to get patterns quickly on google tho with the names in the description. Thanks!
