Great to see the whole process of a garment being made and the time it takes. Looks really cosy. :)

I really liked seeing this kind of video, because it is an antidote to all those youtube / ig reels when ppl knit a jumper in 30 seconds. I could relate to that bc I have been working on a knit for almost 7 month now and those marathon knits really take emotional stamina, as well. Watching something like this format helps :) Also, I have worked up an Eastwind-y jacket as well and found all the things you mentioned true. So for ppl wanting to knit one, this surely is helpful. So thank you :) I would love to see sth like this again.

thanks! it was interesting filming in this way too- I deffo think for a larger more complicated project it makes sense but i am not sure i will taking on another knit like this for a long time!

This cardi has been on my que for a bit and honestly it was intimidating. Watching you go through and share your process and mods has been extremely helpful and I honestly feel like I can tackle it now. Thank you so much and yes to more videos like this!

Ah I'm so glad, that's what I was hoping. I was very nervous before starting and it was a long project but worth it!!

A wonderful episode! I so enjoyed knitting along and listening about your knitting journey. I grew up visiting my grandparents in St Helens near Liverpool. Your accent brought me back over 40 years. Best wishes from a Canadian knitting podcaster!

Ha! though I am not sure I sound anything like a Liverpudlian!!!! unless I am starting to pick up some Brummie tones.... not sure !!

Ah, they don't have the same accent in St Helens as Liverpool but most people don't know where St. Helens is so I just used it as a reference. lol

This was a fabulous recap of your knit. I think I now have the confidence to make this coat. I have had the book for a couple years and love the projects. Seaming isn't my strong point however : ) I will give it a go, and maybe watch this again when I get to the neck part

Seaming is not my strong point either- I think I need to learn to spin, spin some of the unspun and do some more seaming !
