The two costumes (the blue cat and the octopus bear) are actually REALLY good costumes of some fairly popular children’s franchises, Pete the Cat and Octonauts.
I worked at an amusement park during the summer for 5 years. I know that the park, Funtown Splashtown, was there at IAAPA and announced that they’ll be opening up a brand new dark ride! If you’re in southern Maine, definitely recommend checking it out once it opens!
Loved this video. In my opinion, Kim Kardashian (nor anyone else) should have ever been allowed to wear Marilyn Monroe's iconic golden gown. I read that the gown was damaged it in the back as a result of her trying to squeeze into it.
I just learned yesterday that the voice of Zoltar was provided by Bob Cottle, who also hosted The Nature World of Captain Bob, one of my favorite shows as a kid.

It's always amazed me that no matter how sophisticated human animatronics have gotten over the years, no one still hasn't mastered realistic mouth movements. They all talk like they're ventriloquist dummies. 🤣
Yeah this is true. But when you actually look into how complicated the human mouth is with all the sounds and such were able to make its understandable they dont have the tech for it. Although there are some robots that are just lips that were built to try to tackle just that
The actuators for that alone are a nightmare. I would love if they could do it but I can imagine them overheating so easily. The other option we do have for now is projector faces and TPM video is brilliant for showing issues with that 😅😅
The new animatronics on Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and the more recent Beauty and the Beast ride at Tokyo Disneysea have some pretty incredibly facial movement imo. Although they’re still based on cartoon characters, not irl humans
At 10:19 when you say that you don’t know who that guy is, I believe that it’s an early version of Baron Gustavo Hooghmoed from Baron 1898 in the Efteling! If you haven’t been to the Efteling before, I would 100% recommend it, it’s would be right up your alley!
Us Arizona roller coaster enthusiasts are definitely really excited 😀 they just installed the launch track for the big roller coaster (Twin Mill Racer) a few weeks back.
Playland at PNE has the roller coaster from Final Destination (although it was SBNO last time I went) and The Bullet from Riding the Bullet (literally THE BEST woodie I've ever ridden), I highly recommend it! Other than the coasters it's kind of like a permanent fairgrounds so nothing too crazy, but it's so worth it for the woodie (just called Coaster)! It's in Vancouver, Canada
Seeing all those new dark rides that the Sally Co. is coming out with next year is out of this world. Hope that Jake goes on all of them in the future!

Great video! I love seeing a live event I would never get to see but... Well... Now I have. I'm a big Florida amusement park and arcade fan. The only weird part is yeah the Ron DeSantis part. It's pretty interesting to me as a Canadian how popular American president discussion is... But you shouldn't worry about discussing politics. On average, the average Canadian is more aware of American politics than our own. 🤟
Oh... I wanted to mention in the first place... The wax museums I have been to in Canada always have American presidents, but never a prime minister. lol
