This message will be lengthy because I want you to know where I am emotionally. I just started watching you again yesterday after a 3 year hibernation from the human race. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago and had a double mastectomy. During the reconstruction phase my right breast didn’t heal properly and had to be removed. Now I only have the left breast. The prosthesis bra I have is terribly uncomfortable. Even in cooler weather I sweat profusely and can’t wear it. Thus leaving my chest noticeably lopsided. I started eating and gaining weight. I’m now 72 and divorced. I have just given up trying to improve myself. I avoid mirrors because I don’t like what I see. Your tutorials are so uplifting and contagiously happy. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I need this. I need the desire to look good like I did years ago. You’re a Godsend. Love you and your channel. God bless
Hi. I am 32 years old and grew up with my older sister, who was also very noticeably lopsided in her chest area, I'm talking like one Acup and one DD, and I saw her confidence suffer. Things do get better as she is happily married over 10 years with a son and 2 dogs. I hope you are doing okay these days❤
I also had a double mastectomy; had absolutely nothing for five years; I really wanted to make sure I was healthy; I was a big chested individual and the first thought I had was how free I felt; got to wear blouses without the gaping; I found bras that I could put some very thin silicone insert; they do have them but you have to look; they worked well because I thought the prothesis ones were heavy and uncomfortable; this gave enough shape where it looked nice and gave me a little shape; I know you are feeling unattractive but remember that you are more than body parts; I don't know if you are religious if you are there are many healing scriptures that gave such strength; 5 years later I did get a reconstruction and its fine; however I was okay without it too; I got it because I kept talking about getting one and my children said get it done or quit talking about it; after a bit you may want to see your doctor about the possibility of a correction or just to even you out; if not that fine too; just remember how lucky you are to see a new morning everyday; there are many who have had the same journey but are not.

I'm 58 and have gotten away over the years from the art of applying makeup. Thanks to you Nikol, I'm having a reborn love of makeup. Your beauty, knowledge and professionalism have been the inspiration. I share your videos with all women I know young and old so they can be inspired also...and feel confident with how they apply their makeup. A big thank you for being all-ages inclusive, it's rare and so refreshing to the majority out there. I always look forward to seeing new videos but often re-watch as well...so please don't stop making them. God bless. 🙏
Hi Nikol, I'm TeriLeigh, my new name as I am transitioning MTF. My hair is a gorgeous silver too, perhaps several shades lighter, just FYI. I started to let my hair grow out three years ago. Before the thought of transitioning even crossed my mind. I wanted to sell it so that I could buy a recumbent tricycle, would you believe. I have a bad back. Anyway I fell in love with my hair and wouldn't cut it. I have been looking at make up tutorials for several months all informative. You caught my attention because we have a similar look. Same hair straight fine and thick. Same shaped face and eyebrows ( no disrespect intended. Glad I saw that recent video. Lol) or will when I finish loosing weight. I've lost 100# since May 2020. 100 more to go. I like you you seem open and friendly. As well as an excellent teacher. I should know, I've been married to one for 30 years. Oh, the first video I watched was about getting drugstore dupes. The only tutorials on cheaper but excellent cosmetics. And I appreciate that as I am looking at a large expense. Replacing my wardrobe. Getting the correct hair products and cosmetics. All on Disability. Thank you ❤️
I’ve been using the BB cream eye pencils for the past year. I love the ease of application and their staying power. I like them so much that I have every color BB makes. Thanks, Nicol, for the knowledge you share with us. I’m proud to say I can finally, at 55, successfully apply eye liner.
Your talk about lip-liner is SO helpful since I have a thin upper lip and no lower lip. Coloring thin lips that have been lip-lined just enough, as you suggest, is a happy thing to do.
I have just started making the transition to cream everything. My skin is dry. I am doing much better with the cream versions. As Robert Welsh says "makeup has no rules just theory." Thanks again, Nikol, for another great tutorial.
@@lotlot just swipe on where you want it then buff out with a brush ( I use a synthetic brush for this as it works better for me ) as she’s does. If you line your lower lid use a Q -Tip to tidy the edge up. I don’t use the shadow stick to line the top lid. If I want liner I’ll use a liner like she did or use and angled brush and apply darker shadow to the lash line over the shadow stick. Hope that helps.
A heartfelt thank you, all the way from the North East of Scotland, for your eyeliner tips in this video. I have lost all my hair on my head and body within the last month. As I no longer have eyelashes I need to be more precise with eyeliner.

I really enjoyed this video and how fun you made it. As I’m in my late 50s and find out I don’t know my own hair and skin anymore I need all the help I can get.
This was a great look to try! Love the Laura Mercier caviar sticks - I have Au Naturel for a nice base, and am ordering either Cobblestone or Fog for color. I have the NYX jumbo eye pencil in French Fry, and love it for an everyday look. Just wanted to share that you can sharpen these with a large hole sharpener.

This video has inspired me to take better care of myself. I literally haven’t had my hair cut since February last year. This past year has been life changing for many.. I decided to go grey since no one was open for business in the first part of 2020. I’m 60 and ready to embrace the beautiful shades of grey and black in my hair. I can’t wait to cut my hair now! Thank you so much for helping myself and many others to feel confident and beautiful as we continue our journey in life. 😘
Welcome to grey! This past year has changed the was a LOT of us think! It has changed what we VALUE! Let’s face it: being alive is the most valuable thing! Having our FAMILY around us just is so much important than what color our hair is! My daughter is cutting my hair now and it’s longer than it’s ever been in my 75 years! Covid broke the rules so I’m breaking the rules: REALLY LONG SILVER HAIR! And who cares? Like Nikol says: THANK YOU, VERY MUCH! Lolol
Love this and how you show different ways to use makeup, and that it should be fun. Can you give tips on how to find the right shade of foundation and concealer especially now if we are ordering online
I have to say Nicole I get such a kick out of watching you! I enjoy learning about Cosmetics but it's really your personality that makes me want to watch the videos🤓💅 you are having so much fun and really I think that's what makeup is- fun🐢 and you do your own thing regardless of what people might say. LOVE it!
I loved what you said about not being obligated to share products that you don’t feel like are necessarily good products for us, not in those words but what I felt you meant to say!😃❤️❤️ I trust your judgement Nikol & that’s why I love your channel so much!❤️❤️
Absolutely wonderful, thanks Nikol. I too love playing with makeup and being in my mid 50s and grey haired, your tutorial was perfect. ❤ Ngā mihi (thanks) from NZ 🇳🇿
I have essential tremor so putting on makeup is a struggle especially if I don’t have much time to spend on it. Love knowing I can use my fingers which helps.
@@lindas.1751 I'll have to check out KIKO Cosmetics for the Eyeshadow Sticks. I love anything made in Italy. This is off the subject but have you tried Perlier Body Products. They're so nice!
@@dawnwagnerprincesslgunab6476 I hope you do try the Kiko line and that you love them as much as I do. I know of Perlier but honestly have not tried them, yet. Will do so soon, thank you for that!
@@lindas.1751 I love the Perlier line. They're basically a Body and Face product company. I learned of them off of HSN and omg if you love Peonies or Lavender those two are my favorites. There's regular Body Wash, Lotions, Creams, Hand Lotion and Sprays but they also have their lines with Shea Butter too. I haven't seen the HSN Show for awhile but Perlier is always coming out with something new.
Your videos just cheer me right up. I love makeup and it makes me feel put together. My best. So yes I wear it even though I’m just at home! It makes me feel pretty! My family thinks I’m nuts to wear it for what they think is no reason. But I have the BEST reason! ME! Thank you for supporting me and having my back!
In addition to the info I so needed re: eyeshadow, I love your coat. I had a similar one. It was vintage, a size too large but I totally wore that coat out. Im opposed to animal fur garments, but my coat was so over the top fake leopard everyone who saw it knew immediately this was just fun to wear.
I am hooked, totally hooked on how you have inspired so many women with your beauty techniques. My make-up is so old, I keep it way too long, but I will be starting to buy and use make-up again, using your guidelines. Some of the products you use are limited to the U.S. but fortunately I can find some in Denmark, Bobby Brown for example. Thanks for inspiring us all 😘

Nikol, Such a beautiful glamorous look , as always ! Thank you for the safety tips , as many of us have young teens in our families who may be watching videos and experimenting ! Shocking about the cigarette lighter, and blow dryer heat being used on lashes ! 😱 I will , for sure share your warnings to my granddaughter . Glad that I bought her your heated lash curler , which she likes and uses ! Love your channel !
Hello. I wonder if you would be so kind as to tell me what eye creams so you recommend to soften the fine lines. It doesn't matter what concealer I use it seems to settle into my fine lines. You brought up a good point since I wear glasses you can see every line. Thanks.
Being in Michigan watching the snow fall & temps dropping this weekend to below zero your “enthusiasm” on chilly weather is entertaining. For some reason the NARS eyeshadows are showing up in every Goodwill store I shop ( have a resale business). Thanks for the demo on cream products.
Thanks Nikol for the great tips!! I always have trouble with knowing how to get the right makeup!!! You have really helped me find the best for my skin and eyes!!! I really enjoy your videos!!!!❤
Hi Ms Nikol! Love the simplicity of these eye shadows. Do either of these cream stick shadows end up caking in the eyelid creases? I've always heard that you shouldn't use a cream stick if you have hooded eyelid.
You are still inspiring. Wish we had some of your products in the UK. I am trying different things as I transition to grey.... last dye hid, March 11 2020. Still getting used to it😬
I love that you did this video. I have been using the Laura Mercier & Bobbi Brown stick shadows (I have lots of them) and I absolutely love them. I totally need your eyeliner it ups the game big time. Thank you 😊
JOAH Truly Yours Liquid Foundation has mineral sunscreens Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides, NOT chemical sunscreens (which many of us react to with red and itchy skin). AND, I still use the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral Face Sunscreen Ultra-Light SPF 50 underneath mt foundation. I LOVE IT for my VERY SENSITIVE SKIN !!!
Wow....awesome beautiful red lipstick, I really love the whole makeup look.... Listening to you, makes me feel so good, and you make me feel stronger as a woman. Thank you dear Nikol ❤👄🌹🌹🙋♀️😘
Immense gratitude for your step by step how-to’s. Bit of a challenge mastering eyeliner application with my eyes open as opposed to mostly closed which always deposits unwanted product on the lower eye. Love the muted cream shadow look. Lashes are thinning and no longer want to curl. {Sigh}
Hi, Nikol! I love your videos and have been watching for quite awhile now. My hair is very similar to yours - platinum/geriatric in the front and natural black/party in the back at the age of 43. I never dyed it because I didn't want to keep up with the maintenance. Your advice at the end of this video really spoke to me. I'm getting out of a funk from covid, work, etc. and I'm making efforts to do things for myself lately. And I would like to play with makeup and feel pretty. Thank you for your videos!
I adore your videos, Nikol, but, I have a personal aversion to "celebrity" branded products. There are plenty of good, olive oil-based products on the market..I won't be purchasing these. The research is already there regarding the benefits of squalene and, also, my Italian heritage helped me learn about it. Have a great weekend! Rosemarie 💖
@@angelaornellas9077 But aren't they wasteful? I have multitudes of uses for cotton rounds when/if I use them but these have product on them..used Cotton rounds clean all kinds of tight places; window sills, door jams etc...
Thanks so much! Way fun! I use several different brushes for applying every kind of eye shadow, except for pencils, but the all time favorite blending tool? My finger! 🤣
Shari Henderson streak a little dark brown pencil (never black), over the greys. Smudge and repeat until it looks natural. Use a light hand, layering is always best, not heavy application.
Incredibly thick hair. Mine has thinned and gotten sparser as i have gotten older (also I guess chemo has not helped) but I have been using alot of good products, and it has gotten better.
Rimmel used to have a product line called Scandal-EYES, which was fabulous. Big pencils (and 'regular') that were smooth and creamy, yet 'set' after a few seconds and wouldn't budge the entire day. NYX's big pencils unfortunately are not the same type, so they tend to crease and wear off (on me, anyway). However, I have both French Fries and Yogurt, but my version of Yogurt looks much deeper (maybe an 'older' version?) However, the BEST 'all skin tone' color I've found is Rimmel's 'Bluffing,' a gorgeous mid-tone grey/brown/beige, very flattering color. LA Colors had a similarly colored pencil.

I enjoy learning about Cosmetics but it's really your personality that makes me want to watch the videos🤓💅 you are having so much fun and really I think that's what makeup is- fun🐢 and you do your own thing regardless of what people might say. LOVE it!
Love this one. I’m having trouble getting back to my makeup you inspire me.
I loved how u did the eye liner, its defined.but subtle.lovely work!!
This is a to die for look, in my opinion!!!...you look so glamorous and like a movie star!!!!... thank you so much for a great video!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I've used the Julep Eyeshadow Sticks and love them. They're so easy to use and you get a Beautiful look so quickly.
@Dawn Wagner princesslgunab I like Julep and also grabbed several KIKO Cosmetics (Italian company) eye sticks, I love them all!
The neutral lip was so pretty, but that RED lip is so decadent!!! Your vibrance is so inspiring and rejuvenating!
Love your tutorial on eye shadow application and more. Thanks Nikol!!!
Fantastic tutorial so effortlessly applied and can't wait to do same.
U look absolutely beautiful Nikol - thank u
Thank you 😘
love the red lip! I also love the smell of lipstick - think it reminds me of my Grandmother taking me to the make-up counter when I was a kid!
Thank you for being a real woman, love your sense of humor💚
I love your makeup !!!! I love the Almay pads!!!! You look very glamorous!!!!💝
Thanks for inspiring us all 😘
The makeup and red lip on you is gorgeous! Love the fun animal print jacket as well.
Thank you
You are amazing! I love watching your videos! ( : You have inspired me so much! I am 62 and you have inspired me to use cream blush and eyeshadows now! Thank you sooo much! ( :
Love your natural hair. I refuse to dye mine and am just beginning to get some silver and am embracing the natural change.
I loved the eyeshadow look so easy, love your videos 😁👠💄💄👜😂
Gorgeous!!Such a beautiful classic and polished look! TFS xoxo
You are so beautiful without make up, with it and your hair is stunning! ❤️ love your content! Can’t wait to try your line.
I am now 69 and this is the first year aging is catching up with me. do you have any suggestions for crepey loose eyelid skin. Thanks so much.
Cucumbers! Slap those slices over those eyes!
Surgery, most insurance pays for upper lids.
I’d like to know too! All the ladies who do these demonstrations have silky smooth lids!
@@lotlot true!!!
I absolutely LOVED this video! You are simply a breath of fresh air. Thank you. Lisa
I am so happy she’s using a safe heating element on her lashes!!!!! 😘😘

Your skin looks amazing. Thank you for your tips and tricks. Beautiful video. Loved it❤😊💕
I look great in Red. It wakes me up, makes me happy. Love you. Thank you.❤❤
That just caught my eye. Your videos are fab for over 50🤍
A beautiful look, I love the red lips!
Thank you 😘😘❤️❤️
I love watching all your videos you are such an amazing make up artists!
You look stunning & thank you for teaching me how to apply eyeliner & blend eyeshadow. ❤️😄❤️
Thank you 😊
Love finding you. I love makeup and you make it fun !!!!
So I got a few of the creme shadow sticks and you are SO right I just love them. Thank you!!
I LOVE rose scent, too. I think it began with my grandmother's Rose Milk body lotion from my youth. 💖
Thank you dear Nikol
❤👄🌹🌹🙋♀️😘
I also love rose scented everything!
Shelby Wilson's channel is the queen of stick shadows. She has great videos including one with Mercier stick shadow color combinations.
Watching Shelby's videos converted me to cream eyeshadows and I ditched my powder ones (gave to my daughter).
Immense gratitude for your step by step how-to’s. Bit of a challenge mastering eyeliner application with my eyes open as opposed to mostly closed which always deposits unwanted product on the lower eye. Love the muted cream shadow look. Lashes are thinning and no longer want to curl. {Sigh}
Rosemarie 💖
I am right there with you on the celebrity brands. They are definitely not for me. I don’t even care for many of the celebrities!
Exactly! It’s not like anyone knows what on our skin anyway. And it’s really unnecessary to advertise for them and pay for it too.
I’m with you on that one!
Love your makeup!!!!! I love the Almay pads!!!!❤️
My finger! 🤣
Your are gorgeous and so inspiring. Love the tutorial. Thank you 😊
So beautiful and elegant. How do I address my eyebrows that are going gray😊
Shari Henderson streak a little dark brown pencil (never black), over the greys. Smudge and repeat until it looks natural. Use a light hand, layering is always best, not heavy application.
Make sure to streak the pencil in the direction of how your eyebrow hairs grow.
Thank you Indria Drayton.
