Thank you I'm 76 and cannot afford the luxury brands when I was young. I don't like things that make your skin creases more pronounced. I would do botox but that's out of budget. Lol I'm embracing my grey hair as an x hairstylist that was a major choice I retired after 56 years of loving my clients and my profession. Thank you again ❤️🙏
Hi Alexis. May I interject...or suggest... I am 75. Luxury brands are not necessary or essential for a good look. Plz try the over the counter makeups, shadows, etc, Nikol suggests in her videos. Even the drug store cleansing items. Trial n error to find wht you like. Also weather has an affect. Better than paying luxury prices for smthg tht didnt work. I hv 1 or 2 luxury items like Nikol's eye primer. N a QVC face primer. Just keep in mind moisturizination and skin conditioning. The you for reading. Hope I didn't overstep Nikol n Alexis.
I am 73 years old and I never had to wear foundation because I was lucky enough to have a good completion. Now I have uneven skin color (some age spots). After watching this video last night, I went and bought the products that were recommended. I love how it evened out my skin tone. Thank yo!

Milani makes a great eyeshadow primer! Goes on smooth & really keeps the colors in place. Find it at CVS or Target

My favorite drugstore mascara (which typically beats out my higher end mascaras) is the L'Oreal Lash Paradise. It's amazing. If you haven't tried it, I would definitely give it a go! Love your videos. I'm only 35 but I have a lot of trouble finding skincare products that won't break me out. So these are nice tutorials to watch.
I love L’Oreal make up. It doesn’t change color or break my skin out. I don’t use waterproof mascara either and this brand does not “melt” off my lashes. Stick with what works for you!
I'm glad to see you demonstrating Joah makeup. It's my favorite drugstore line.
I love the Loreal eye lash primer, and you can also get the two piece set where it comes with the mascara, and that is my go to.
Really liked the foundation on your skin. It look completely flawless. And the eye lash trick. I have buy that primer. Thanks I love your videos. And yes everyone says I look younger but like you I prepare my skin and clean my skin realty well prior to makeup. I also wear skin serums and skin oils to bed as much as I can. I am 57 as of last WK. ❤️
I enjoy you very much; I am 73 and my hair is used tongue boost it gets from herbatint and my mood lifts as well! Yet I like your thinking I just have a very "Anita Loos“ nature; I would have been Lorelie‘s best friend Dorothy! (See; Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (But They Marry Brunettes!)) marvelous read so a reddish brunette I seem to be! Herbatint so healthy for your hair and no fumes! Leaves hair shiny and full blondes or white haired women can happily use it as well to pop your color! Mother looked so cute, all salt and pepper! Thanks for making the subject so much fun to debate!

I’m really watching how you’re doing the under eye concealer and digging through my brush collection, lol. In my mom’s side of the family we all have/had crazy dark circles, all the way back to my great-grandmother. It’s like we don’t have that bit of padding under the eyes. Concealer wasn’t such an issue before the fine lines developed, but now it’s a real challenge to balance coverage with not emphasizing the lines.
PVANPELT, now that I have some lines under my eyes, I dont use concealer there at all except in inner corner, going downwards a bit. . I feel like concealer only draws attention to the lines! 😵😲🤗🌝

Ms. Nikol! I'm so happy to let you and your viewers know how the eye lift lids worked out for me. I have a slight droop on one of my eyes which I'm planning to have corrected eventually. The lids did the job on my first try. Love this product and hight recommend it..Love!

Nikol you are one of my favorite people I never met: I lost my husband to a sudden heart attack and I I have a rescue cat and a Peke who thinks she is a great dane which is fine ... the one thing I still haven't figured out is my eyes. I did use some help to get my Dad's eyebrows back but franklly I follow your great advice about eyelashes etc and no-one thinks I am 65 which is a state of mind ... but honestly I do follow the French; skin care and less is more. And yes like you I am am an optimist and would like to spread good will around whenever possible.

The base was it JOIA is everything you can tell right away after you put it on. I love that you don’t have to have everything just perfect when you buy your finds. It’s so much more realistic to what we all do buy it if it doesn’t work we’ve tried it but we either rebuy or ditch it. Ive tried that neutrogena mascaras and found it dry like yesterdays toast but I do love their foundation thats hydrating (the regular hydrating formula in round bottle with silver top) its very moisturizing I just wish they had a wider range of colors I have to custom mix it. It’s a back up foundation for me

I think I'll have to try the lipgloss; my lips have natural color that makes light shades seem washed out, and, deeper shades look too dark. It's been a problem, even when I was younger. I’ve got those lips too! I always thought it’s because they’re nearly the same shade as my skin but very cool-toned, so nudes go flat no matter what their base tone is and dark shades just pick up the cool and get magnified.

Great video! I have used the Maybelline brow tattoo, and it’s good. My brows are black, my hair is dark brown and gray. I prefer Bella Brow because they have a dark gray color. Black brows look too stark; dark brown isn’t right either. If you want something in between, go with Bella brow. Ladies!! It takes a very light stroke! I feel like I’ve just gotten the hang of it…after a few years!! I keep a micellar water and q tips on my vanity for brow over-do!

Hi Nikol! Thank you for a great video. I've never even heard of some of the products you've covered in this video. I will be purchasing some of them.
I have very oily skin and have adult acne, so I have to be careful of what products I use and use mostly Neutrogena. I use the Hydro Boost concealer in the bullet. It has a core of moisturizer that feels so good under my eyes. It's the only place on my face that has dry skin! When I set it with a fine powder, I don't have issues with creasing. Love it! The Hydro Boost unscented face moisturizer is wonderful as well. Again, thank you for a great video and the products you showcased.
Peaches skin care on RUclips has advise about acne. Lisa has home / drugstore/ kitchen products you can use OR the products she makes.
Awesome either way.
Also helps tremendously to get off dairy products (RUclips PCRM with Dr Neil Barnard)

Darn, wish the battery in my vehicle wasn't dead! I would be buying some of these today! Interesting lip gloss magic- mirror, light, and changing color. It does look like a different color on you than the container is!

Thank you for doing this drug store make up application. I have just retired and although I still have Champagne taste, I only work part time during tax season, so my wallet has beer purchasing power. :-) The Vermont Country Store has always had this product called Tangee, which is suppose to change color to suit your coloring. I have never tried it, but it looks intriguing. Love you! You look gorgeous with this drug store make up. So many products I would love to try. Thanks again.

Hi Nikol. You are definitely on a roll, this video was terrific. I am on the hunt for the eye gel and the cheek color. Both look great. Also thanks for the comment about getting makeup and/or skincare into the grey hair. I have found that to be one of the two biggest challenges with “going natural”. My vitamin C serum was giving me blonde hilites at my white temples. Not exactly the look I was going for. 🤔 Your tutorials are the absolute best.

The eye gel was so interesting and I always recommend Manuka honey.

Love your videos and gimmick or not - you had me with the little light & mirror on the PH Matchmaker lip gloss. Gotta have that!!! Not sure if you have ever done a product demo or review on Kiehl's super multi-corrective cream or other anti-aging skin care products, but would love to hear your opinion on those as I got a sample recently and was impressed with it.

Some book I read years ago, stated use cream blush then top off with a powder blush , being like here windy and it blows off you still have color could do the same with eyeshadow cream and powder being I am in a windy town

Kuddos for you for going gray . I understand why you don’t want to color your hair . I respect that . It’s a pain to do that every 3 weeks . You are so pretty. As for me I will put shoe polish on my hair to avoid gray . I just can’t do it . It maimed look so old . I can’t do gray hair. .

L.A. Girls has a pretty good eyeshadow primer. It is a pencil type though.
