Donda Chant DOES NOT line up with Jail

- I saw a video that claimed Donda Chant lined up with Jail. It does not.
Yes, the bassline in Jail and the words Donda line up but Jail's themes have little to do with Donda West and more to do with Kanye's divorce from Kim. It's strange to think "Donda" with the bassline when the lyrics surrounding it are conflicting.
e.g (lyrics and bassline together)
Guess who's (going/don-da)to jail tonight? (don-da)
I also used multiple parts from Donda Chant, still doesn't line up.
if both jail and donda chant start at the same exact time, the girl stops saying donda when kanye says something. so it does line up in a way
That s simple music theory. It s normal every song it s separed in beats and phrases so things can happen if the songs are on similar bpm s

actually thanks for making this, people are so gullible
woah nice mew profile pic!!! :0
The thing is when you see the video its not even a full track, he trimmed it then placed it on the guitar
nobody said the whole song lined up, it’s just the word donda, that’s it
@@user-bb5jm9fs3w still a coincidence
@@sheriffaboubakar9720 not a coincidence, we’re talking about the syllables.
He didn’t say it entirely matched up but that the syllables matched up with the guitar…
this ^^^^^^^
😂😂😂 and so does “Loser”
@@yungmansa4989 ok?
@@fbi4189 go ahead sing it in your head
Exactly
Sounds like it lines up more with “Panda”.
Facts tho 😂
pt 2 be like:
Its true yea, the whole Donda Chant isn’t fitting to Jail. But the first part! I beacame curious and wanted to try if it could be a good Mashup-Remix and it actually was! The result was Amazing! The drums and the way she perfectly says on the beat Donda is beautiful along with the jail song ... I don't know why, but it feels gorgeous to hear that combination!
Thank you very much man💜💜💜💜
I pretty sure it’s supposed to be is moms heart beat at the hospital, or it could just be kanye being kanye
@@stomobro858 It was her heartbeat. The last 52 seconds where she was still alive. The last 60 strokes.
@@stomobro858 no it’s not

This just in, people find out that duple/ eighth note rhythms exist
Man, ofc the dont match, you can see the vid of the man that matched them up, he was talking about the "donda" matching with the guitar flow, not the actual track tho.
Yes, I failed to say in my video that he matched them up by cutting out the word “donda” and placing it with the guitar/bass line.
In the description, I mention that even if you line up “donda” with the guitar, it doesn’t make sense thematically. Sorry for the confusion. 💜
lmaoo
It would be a cool remix tho if u cut them to the right rhythm and add the drums
Will consider…
Yeah, I did a remix mashup like that! It got pretty cool!
idk if I saw the same video youre refferring to but tbh I don't think the intention was saying that it was perfectly lined up, it was just showing that "DONDA" and the guitar on jail sound pretty similar, and they really do
We have been bamboozled
i knew it since the other guy disabled the comment section xd, thank for the video man
I saw the video too and i was like bro you can literally see how he edited the audio to line up and he didn’t even attempt to make it look like the whole track
bruh he did it because he thought the guitar sounded like donda he didnt say it lined up
@@Upscaleaddict He might’ve done it for that reason but go back and listen to it he literally said “it matched perfectly!”
i had a feeling.
Thanks for doing the lords work.
The whole mith sounds cool, ofc the og version, not this.
today we found out jail pt 2 does not line up with jail pt 2
Bro, it’s supposed to only line up with the very first time she says “Donda” not the rest of the song
Party pooper 😔
Sorry 😢
Thanks I didn’t know this but it is still fire when it lines up
Thanks I was suspicious
In the video he said that the "duh-duh" in Jail and "Donda" in Donda Chant line up, not the song. So the actual word Donda in the song is what lines up with the duh-duh, not the whole song.
Yup this is what the original video said. Just gotta pay attention lol I could see how someone could think they meant to say the whole song lines up with all of donda chant but yeah no that's not what they were saying at all
@@kiddtekno4382 they implied it lined up by playing the actual song
I think the point of the video is the first donda lines up with the beat of jail, which it does. Both donda chant and jail's instrumental is definitely based around the idea of a heartbeat carrying the groove, and I think that's what the video was trying to say. Not that the whole chant lines up perfectly, but the first one IS on beat, and that was probably intentional, given they're both rhythmically like a heartbeat. BUT! yes, you are correct in saying that both of them do not line up perfectly throughout their entire runtimes :)
For me personally, that's still just as cool, and I think it was sort of meant to represent DONDA and her heartbeat. The two syllables are powerful hahaha
Who would actually believe that it does that isn’t under the age of 5
i mean my understanding of that video was that it was to line up the chant with the beat and they sound very similar when lined up, like that first “donda” sounds very on beat with the first little bit
i mean as if you took that first portion of syleena johnson saying “donda” and matched it with every bit like that it would sound like that i think? yeah i’m fun at parties why’d you ask
I think what they meant is that the guitar sounds like the word donda, not that they line up
I actually kinda felt it matched up when you played at the end
Yeah I saw that and was very skeptical
Just dragging the tracks for no reason
Lol I was nervous 😅😅😅
the more you do the more professional it looks
It's not rly about it lining up tho, I think that the intent was for the "don-da" syllables to sound like the guitar of jail, and not be exactly in sync with it
*clicks, stretches out, zooms in, clicks, stretches, clicks, zooms in, moves track, moves other track, moves track, moves track, stretches, clicks, ac buzzing, clicks, stretches in*
im sorry this just got to me
Loooool
I actually think the guitars sample Donda Chant tho
Why is that?
@@_JUNGSEIPEI_ cause he did that before. He used vocals as instruments a lot of times in the past so it wouldn't be weird for him to do that
@@trytoneee maybe the two low notes but the high notes is an actual guitar.
oh shit it does line up. Jail builds in momentum as DONDA CHANT increases in intensity. It does line up intentionally.
Didn’t even know that this was a rumor
thx
the video i saw saying it did line up was so edited 😭
I don't think it lines up with each other, but it does sound like the guitar in the background is saying donda, not saying the chant and jail line up
Had me fooled
okay
I'm surprised that someone ever really believed that it lined up. To me the whole thing is just that it sounded like Donda's name was being repeated throughout the song. Actually, it kinda does sound like "Donda".
Wait, people actually believed this??????
its vocoder with distortion like runaway outro
I doubt that
I dont think its supposed to line up but i think its supposed to sound the same as saying "donda"
The time you took hating , could’ve been used to make a fire beat smh. What Cole say “some make millions , other make memes”

A little bit
What are you the donda police
🚨👮🏻♂️🚨
That middle part looks like it fits what if you cut it to make it say donda on time
Edit: and I heard jail with the drums and I think it would sound dope with donda chant too in certain parts too

Finally
Who said that they line up🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
No that’s not the point lmao it’s that the two syllable “donda” sounds just like the “dun-da” it doesn’t matter if they don’t line up
I pretty sure it’s supposed to be is moms heart beat at the hospital, or it could just be kanye being kanye
The person who made that original tik tok closed comments
Start them the same as is...not adjusted... I'm curious
What it sounds good together who cares if it perfectly lines up.
Dude debunked something that didn’t even exist 💀
obviously it dont line up i think that is very obvious, but the syllables match the riff the "DON-DA" with the "TAN-TAN" but not alined
I fuckin hate the sound of those mouse clicks
I always thought that was so stupid
It actually lined up but only using the first “donda” other donda donda donda is not
Can you make one that lines up? Lol..I actually wanted to listen to it😩😂
Will work on it 💪🏽
Check the channel, just uploaded it
your def not fun to hang out at parties with
Doesn’t line up perfectly, but I do think jail sampled donda chant
sampled? how? lmao
😂😂😂Way to crush the point😂
when the guy said it lines up im pretty sure he meant the beat sound to the donda. he even showed how he made them match up he didnt just overlay the songs. the two syllable dundun to the two syllable donda and length of each is what match up
Almost like it's just his moms heart beat.
It is not so literal bro haha, it is only the first DONDA that remains with Jail, you just have to repeat it and put it in the correct position.
Wow you seem fun lmao. I don't think anyone thought it lined up unedited, that video shows clear cuts and dude was just trying to show that the cadence is the same w some of the"Donda"s as w Jail, which even you proved here. L
why are yall even entertaining shit like that?
what was the point of this lol the guitars sound like Donda's name, are you suggesting that kanye didn't do this on purpose? When he's so into details. If a lot of people got that message then the message is valid, and maybe even true. Again, who cares. Let people interpret however they want. But, facts and logic, right? Everything is a coincidence, everything is boring. Whatever.
who cares
