Strangely, my husband and I don’t text like that… since dating days, we have kept texts task-oriented, brief and straightforward. Anyway, Mandon the Standard is really funny… will be a cool person to hang out with. And Jerald impressed me with “if you are ready to have sex with the person, then you should be ready to be a father” - wow… man of integrity and sensibility! 👍🏻

Active listening is essentially about 2 things: showing that you’re present and you care. This can be achieved via 2 very simple ways: 1. Asking questions/following up 2. Matching their energy (in texting, this can be through the length of the text, emotes, etc!). Most importantly be empathetic and don’t interrupt them, or worse, make it about yourself! Just some tips :D

For the pineapple thing, many females belief that eating pineapples will make their period come sooner (if they're late), as pineapples for Chinese beliefs are cold/凉 food. So by eating pineapples it fastens the period to come quicker. Thus, might "wash away" the baby if eaten too much. Period come = no preggo.

All the guys except Hafeez is really good at understanding the text messages. Not all men are brought up this way. Their parents should be proud of them. Even my husband is bad at texting and he will always kena from me be it by text, call or when he comes home. I will nag and get very angry unless he explains himself to me. Overtime I get tired and just accept it. I've been married for 9 years and I still get pissed off if my husband doesn't respond to me properly 😅
How is Mandon still single?
Hafeez has clearly gotten bored of life lol but if that's really the number of unread Telegram messages he has then it explains a lot, but the number also gives me so much stress.
