Study of market dynamics + A sound business plan + betting on the right person -> a good recipe. Hats off to you both to get the best out of these 2+ hrs. Watched the full video and every minute is worth it.
The content of this podcast is......knowledge of 1000 books kept open plus the experience and the lifetime wisdom of Mr Dheeraj Gupta, in freeflow stream...wow. I am a doctor , but still learnt a lot and was captivated. Thanks bro 🙏🙏🙏

Think school>>>>>>HBR Down the line of about 8-10 years 1 of 3 successful entrepreneurs would have some input from THINK SCHOOL in one way or the other
I just had it today with this offer. Taste was good. The only thing which I hate is they add very less sauce and veggies every time. I told the employees before to make the burger hot or keep it in oven but the employees seem very much unskilled
I feel there will be a time when live audience will also be present to learn while you are having a conversation with the experts! What a gem of a podcast...
Man ganesh i been an ardent follower of think school from very long time, I have learnt a lot from your videos. I really don't understand if you are as curious as your viewers or are you interested in making these contents, I saw the video without a break. You really are a great person to make us learn things that are not the part of books as said in video about al rise. Man you are a gem. You really deserve a respect.
Small suggestion: Try to talk less than the guest, and give them the most opportunities to talk for longer. Besides, Ganesh, very happy to have YOU doing these pods interviews of such great founders.
I agree. Throughout the interview, there were several moments when Dheeraj was on the verge of sharing really valuable insights, but the flow was interrupted by less relevant questions. I say this as a big fan of your work-I've watched almost all your videos. That’s why I wanted to take the time to share this feedback. :)
What I observed is because both were having a conversation and willing to share /gain knowledge, the interruption never stopped Dheeraj from sharing insights but rather it helped a listener like me to connect what ever Dheeraj said! Thanks Ganesh
one of the best podcast on QSR. I myself run a small food outlet in Mangalore called Agni's and after morning anxity of any entruprenouer it was relaxing to see what many things which Gupta sir did is what i am doing and currently am trying to reduce the food prep time of my dishes, shall refer back to this when i am in trouble
This was an epic podcast! If you can please bring Mr. P C Mustafa of ID idlie dosa batter to your podcast it would be really insightful! It would be great to hear from him on how he scaled a regional product such as idlie dosa batter into a branded product. As in both the podcasts of veeba and jumbo King the founders shared how challenging it was to bring acceptance of a regional product.
Mr. Gupta's patience and politeness shine through as he explains complex business concepts in remarkably simple terms. Despite his impressive background in MBA and IHM, he avoids using jargon, making it easy for anyone to understand and relate to every step of entrepreneurship. This podcast is like a mini-MBA course in itself! Dheeraj's ability to break down nuances into digestible bits is truly inspiring. He's made entrepreneurship accessible to all, and I'm so grateful for his efforts. Thank you, Dheeraj, for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us!.....and a special thanks to Ganesh for having such priceless podcast ❤❤❤
It's a very inspiring story. A question to Mr Gupta, Hamburgers were staple food for US as is Vada pav in Mahrashtra. McDonalds took Burgers to the world and changed eating habits. They would have faced same challenges as Jumboking in Vadapav but they didn't change their product. Could Jumboking would have continued with Vadapav and would have taken to entire country and over the world as alternate to BURGERS as an Indian snack.
Indians tend to be more receptive to Western cultural influences than regional ones. For instance, many people readily embrace Western cuisine, easily incorporating foods like pizza, burgers, and pasta into their daily lives. In contrast, exploring regional cuisines, such as Parsi food, tends to be less common, with fewer people incorporating these options into their regular dining habits.
1:44:58 moment when Ganesh was analyzing heavy entrepreneurial dose and went blank. But came back quickly. Lots of love Ganesh. This content is anazing and next level. So precisely put down and hats off to you for the fact that you were able to know secret recipe by asking right questions at right time❤.
2.5 hours of pure bliss. Thank you so much for this outstanding podcast Ganesh. The only thing I would request you to let the guest talk enough and you try to listen to his pindora of wisdom 😊😊
I made a mistake starting a grocery retail chain on 2023. It failed horibbly. I had a debt of 25L now. 😢 I don't know if I'm gonna make it or not. I'm now working as a construction worker. Life thrown me from the cliff. If you are thinking of doing crazy Entrepreneur shit. Think twice before doing.
Obviously anyone that starts a business will think twice. The question is why didn't you. Sorry about your loss, may you fall back on your feet again soon. Also just to understand further, did you start a chain right away? Or did you start with an independent store?
This was a very wholesome episode. It took me 3 days to complete the video. But at the end I well verse with the buisness of franchise, quick serving restaurant, how to choose a franchise, or how to start a food brand of our own. Thanks a dozen ganesh
the perfect business interview ever , it had more knowledge than than the actual founder movie (mc donalds) , very impressive than raj shamani and other business podcast.
Time well spent! I just could not take a break through the entire podcast, I was totally engrossed in it.I am floored by the simplicity, humility, confidence, and more so the transparency with which Mr.Gupta shared all his business wisdom and little nuances of his success story. Its a true reflection of a successful business leader.

Very well structured podcast. Each time, the next subsequent question that I wanted to ask the guest(here Mr Dheeraj Gupta) was asked by Ganesh! I as a viewer of Indian Business Podcast have a request, please make a detailed video on the topic of fund raising. On two types of underlying products which I am interested, tech market place products such as uber, airbnb, tinder- matchmaking Tech products, which connects buyers and suppliers, and two traditional classical franchisee business models such as Jumbo king, McD. Is funding necessary? Can we go the bootstrapped way? Pros and Con's, If funding necessary , the best practices of the process, roles and action points on each side the founders side and the investor side, red flags to watch out for, genuine VC leads for early stage founders. Will be great to have couple of videos on both the underlying products, food and market place tech. Thanks.
