My favourite song from their new album. I sincerely think that the gorgeous guitar harmony in the middle section is one of their greatest songwriting moments. It's so ridiculously well executed and flawlessly impeccable.

The tone sounds like everything is played between open and sixth fret on the E, A, and D strings, but, this works, too.
The solo in this song is one of my favorites in general; it seems to be a mix of My Friend Of Misery and Anthrax's Black Lodge. 8:52 is my favorite part of this song though, that riff is pure southern rock.

My favorite song on the album. Amazing cover, I've been waiting to learn this ever since it came out! The final WAH solo at the end gave me chills that I didn't get the first time round. Seeing the tabs just gave me a whole different sense of it!
Once you listen to "if darkness had a son" and "inamorta" you can't stop listening. Remind me of when I first listened to "stargazer". You can find some of "The Unforgiven 3" and Fixxxer in "Inamorta"
And did you notice at one part in "crown of barbed wire" there's a part that a sounds exactly like the ending of the "king nothing" solo. Like literally. I wonder if they threw that in ya know king, and crown? Never know?

Hetfield is notorious for playing the low E in the upper registers. Gives the guitar a thicker tone. Everyone plays the B in standard position up by the nut. You're the only one I've seen so far that has this correct. Only part I've seen that you might be incorrect on is the verse riff. I believe he bends the F# a 1/2 step, he doesn't use the trill. (Hammer on, pull off)
I can't wait for them to play it live so I can finally see how they really play it, I think it's a mix of both playing the low E and the A strings, depending on the part of the verse/chorus. The chorus sounds like it's being played on the A and D rather than E and A.
Wait till they play it in C# haha😂. It’s so Sleep/Sword-ish in C# tuning.

this music is in C# , what is different from traditional keys used by metallica ( E minor, D minor )
