Why are people being so annoying, saying "isnt it just kimchi" like dawg she means the name of the kimchi and dumpling together as a dish. And she probably didnt say kimchi to make it easier for people who don't know what kimchi is to understand the flavor combo
It’s not kimchi though. It’s like fresh shredded cabbage that is seasoned with something different than kimchi seasoning. It doesn’t taste like kimchi at all, and it’s not trying to mimic kimchi taste either. It’s kinda like how a vinegar seasoned coleslaw isn’t suddenly sauerkraut because it’s cabbage with vinegar.
Idk if another korean would do but my recommendation is bibimbap (which is predictable), gimbap(which does commonly have a bit of meat in it but there's a bif variety of them so you can find purely vege gimbaps commonly), korean pancakes(make sure they're vege fillings, i like the zucchini ones), jabchae.
some people have their eyelids like these and i am pretty sure she did not do surgery but even if she did who are you to judge??. Mind your own business

it is not kimchi. The dish is called 납작만두 (flat dumplings) usually served with that spicy cabbage.
