Aye this question is for anyone at IGN. Why is COD one of the only games that you review in different sections/videos like this?? Many games have multiple modes and various content, yet get rated as a whole. Why does COD get separate videos for each mode? It’s be one thing if each game is done this way but To me it seems a little ridiculous to only do this for COD. I’m genuinely curious.
COD is one of the most popular mainstream games there is. Yeah it’s been on the downfall a bit and has been getting a lot of hate lately but COD is still insanely popular. COD reviews get a lot of views.
Not only COD. They did separate reviews for the single player and multiplayer component of Battlefield V. Same with Iron Harvest, Star Wars: Squadrons, Doom Eternal, and Gears 5. I forgot, separate reviews for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online also.
How people still give 60 $ for 5 hours campaign game is beyond crazy for me, when you look at how other games have evolved but they still release same bulsit every year. They need to start making games bigger not just adding multyplayer and zombies mode every time. They change the setting for game give some cool cutscenes and people hope this is going to be different.
These games are heavily multiplayer focused. The fact it has an amazing cinematic campaign is a bonus. There’s other games out there for you, this isn’t the one for you.
Going out to the movies is like 20 bucks minimum, and that is for a viewing experience around 2 hours that you only get to enjoy once. 60 dollars for a 5 hour game plus 100s of hours of entertainment in multiplayer is worth the money. Now comparing this relatively barebones offering to something like Grand Theft Auto- yeah it doesn't make sense how both these games cost the same amount.
It's just like anything else. Shoot a bunch of people and go from point A to point B... It seems like people never have any new ideas for these damn games

1:10 actually according to the ranks on their uniforms Freisinger is a lieutenant and Richter is a Captain, which is weird because that would make Richter a Freisinger's superior.
The SS are absolutely all over the place in this, to name a few discrepancies; Richter is a Hauptsturmfuhrer (Captain) and reports to an Untersturmfuhrer (Lieutenant) Freisinger for some reason. They are not high ranks. Also, the uniforms have no consistency, the SS collar tabs on both of their uniforms are different shapes and sizes, Richter's uniform makes him look more like a vicar than an officer of the Waffen-SS (SD/Sicherheitsdienst). Freisinger's (black) uniform looks better for the Allgemeine SS. This just scratches the surface of the complete 'historical' chaos going on with this game.
bingo!@ I am a collector...uniforms and insignia is what I do and it completely ruins the game for me because a medium grade collector could do that for pennies.

COD WOKE-WASHES WW2
How's it woke?
What shitty commmentary was that. It was all praises and smiles throughout the review, and then a rating of 7.
The female russian seems like the most interesting part of the single player. Should've dedicated the entire campaign to her story. Could've been even better and longer.
She's a creation of Russian propaganda. Anyone who doesn't understand that is a moron.
@@micblades1117 what propaganda? WW2 is over bro. You’re the moron.
@@micblades1117 No, she is actually based of a real life Russian sniper, nicknamed “Lady Death” who was the deadliest female sniper ever.
@@choppaflop2939 Yes, and, I'm saying she's propaganda from the Russian government. smh
@@micblades1117 Propaganda or not, there were 309 less Nazis because of her. Service as Sniper was June 1941 - June 1942. 309 kills in 1 year seems like one hell of a killstreak. Her name was Lyudmila Pavlichenko. 🖖🏼
Buying a call of duty for the single player is like buying an audio book for someone thats deaf
