After installing a few mini splits over the years myself. I laughed my ass off when you got to the hole part... you in your head said "omg I hate this part going through a brick wall on a ladder " I could read it on your face. Good job
This is a really good video. I have two suggestions: 1) Put a wireless lavalier microphone on the presenter, to avoid issues with room echoes and when the presenter is turned away from the camera; 2) Don't skip steps, like the removal of the protective cover.
Thanks for the notes, Rob. We actually have a new installation video up which we made in further details with professional voiceover and film crew. Let us know what you think! ruclips.net/video/Cxuiytm_CMo/видео.html
If you need help with your electrical connection, please refer to your installation manual or get in touch with our technical support team at (786) 953-6706 with any questions you might have.
how does this brand compare to Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Daikin, Mr. Cool. etc. I know the warranty is 5/7years. why should I get this brand over the more recognized ones???
What would be the likely cause of this... Installed a 3 zone C&H. A 12k and 2 9k units. Lately it's gotten to where if I turn on the 9k in the bedroom, the 12k seems to freeze up if it's turned off. Then after the 9k is turned off, the 12k thaws and will actually spill out when I turn it on and the vent opens. I think the 9k in the bedroom will do the same thing if it is off and the 12k is on. The other 9k seems unaffected. Both units are cooling great and seemto heat very well.
Hi Eddie! It sounds like you might have your wires crossed if, for example, the 9k unit is on and the 12k is receiving the refrigerant. Give our Technical Support team a call at (786) 953-6706 and they can help you out!
C&H installation kits include communications wire, copper line, and other accessories. They are useful for a quality installation, but you can technically use another brand for your line sets.

@@CooperandHunterusa Wow. Maybe I got some sort of abbreviated manual. There is absolutely nothing in there about wiring that is useful. My unit is a 240V model (Sophia). Is that a straight 240V line that it takes or does it call for two out of phase 120V lines? I'm only seeing three wires so far in things that I see in videos--a hot (240V), a white neutral, and lately a green ground. Is that about right? Many thanks!
@@Edgy01 To power the outdoor unit, you have to connect it to a double breaker, 230V. L1 and L2 are the phases (120V each), and then ground. To connect the indoor unit, you have to run 16/4 cable and color-match your connections between the indoor and outdoor units. 1 is L1, 2 is L2, 3 is signal, and ground. If you have any other questions on this, please call our Technical Support team at (786) 953-6706

Every one of these videos skips the all important hard wire electrical installation to the house
Do you need installation kit in addition to buying the unit?

Great job Tim!
Thanks for the support, Mike!
Is their any possible way you can guide me

Hi sir..
Hi sir.....
You skip over the electrical portion of the job entirely.
Hi Edgy00, if you need help with the electrical part of the installation, there is a detailed explanation in the Installation Manual.

The manual is not detailed. The only reason I watched this video is for the electrical that wasn't covered.
