Looks like everything in my Noble NB4Pro except the USB-C. I hope they release just the new battery pack so we can change to USB-C too. Great review man! Thank you.
There's still things only the pro can do, the nb4+ doesn't have the gauges in the main screen, it also still has 8 ch not 18ch when assignments are made it's only 1 function not 2 like the pro, and yeh you will be able to just buy the battery base for around $59
Great video as always. I brought the noble pro due to watching your videos and it’s been the best radio transmitter I’ve ever brought so thank you. Was just wondering if the new style steering wheel would fit the noble pro?
Is it possible to transfer the model memory from the nb4 to the nb4+? My brother has always wanted my nb4, I figured I would upgrade and give him the old one.
Your videos are amazing and super helpful. I am having some difficulty getting it to set up correctly with my DLux MOA. I don’t see the Throttle and Drive selection in the mixing screen? Mine only shows 4WS, Brake Mixing and program mixing. Have you tried to do the dual esc and moa’s yet on it?
I upgraded the motherboard and screen in my NB4 to the NB4+ to get the faster 2-channel connection and the screen that doesn't wash out in the light. I installed a higher capacity battery while I had it open. The assistant can upload the profiles from the NB4 to the +. Assistant is so painfully slow! I see people trying to sell their NB4 for $200 here in the US. It would make more sense to just buy a + for $300 instead of the update if they sell the used NB4 for that but I doubt they do.
Idk if it's the camera or not but the screen looks better on the plus. Maybe that is due to the fact that the pro is not brand new so the screen is scratched or a little dirty?
I am a bit confused I need a radio for drag racing to adjust the power of the motor along the run and a start point. At the moment I have a DX5C and I can only delay the throttle or use expo. Do these radios have something like the Sanwa or Futaba adjustable different points? Thanks
There are no 18ch receivers ? There are 12ch and yeh the do work but only 8 of the ch will be available but you can use the other 4 for sensors as they are npA to npD :)
does noble 4+ have the same display as the pro? more information as the pro. i use ibus 2 gps sensor with noble 4 but it cant record the data. so i want to upgrade to monitor accel or top speed. does the nb4+ has this ability?
Hi! One question, I just received my unit, but the black box came unsealed, is that normal? My regular nb4 came sealed. Just making sure, thank you! Great video fella, you just earned a new subscriber!🎉
@@WTFRCCars well, but if Flysky put the name on it, I guess they sealed after hehe. Thanks for your answer buddy. Seems like they come without a plastic seal now.
Also have you seen the very strange behavior it has when adjusting the brightness? You go up to 100% but the screen seems to be going up and down in clarity. That’s weird
@adrianchiloeches7262 yep best guess incorrect resistor value on main board, won't make any difference to max brightness just reacts a little strange when making adjustments :)
I got the regular nb4 the only thing I really like about the plus is the channel naming other then that I don’t see a reason for me to get the plus maybe once I fill the model memory in my nb4 I’ll get the plus and 8 channels is more then enough for me at the moment
Good further development of the NB4 but currently still too expensive in my view. The price should be around €50 above the NB4. For me as a user of several NB4s, there is only one point that is really interesting: renaming the channel. However, this is currently not worth the high surcharge for me to switch. If the NB4+ would support the 12-channel receiver then there would be one more reason for me :-)
i was really interested to see what changes/upgrades they put on the nb4+. for me, it came out just at the 'worst' time. i just recieved my nb4 after a long decision time directing me to switch the vast majority of my rcs to flysky, since i already owned the Pro several months ago. i got the nb4 at an equal to around 140£. in comparison the nb4+ seems a little expensive to me right now, although i wish i would have an usb-c port as well since all my other devices are usb-c or wireless charging ones. but i guess swaping out base-batteries shouldnt be much of a problem.. -Daniel.
Officially there's no way to change it to EU/EN version, unofficially there a vid kicking around showing if you download the updater, then create a shortcut to the program and edit the target with the id of you transmitter found in device manager you can then run the en or EU updater and flash the nb4+ to another version but I've never tried it and don't know if it actually works
I have been trying to find a lap time comparison using a traxxas tqi vs a higher quality radio, both on a track in the sane car, I cant find this anywhere on RUclips, if someone makes it I bet it would get thousands of views
It's because you can't use a tqi to race the response time so bad it's unusable, also the tqi servo polling rate is too low it's below the 333hz that even the cheapest race esc's and servos run at so some of the esc's won't even calibrate using the tqi and receiver.
ive really been on the fence between these nb4 and radio link rc8x... ive always liked these im so over my dx5 the worst part is switching over like 15 rc great video
@@WTFRCCars no racing im a basher so range an speed is the main thing plus easy to use and comfort is a must... most i really do is endpoints and gyro settings but will be getting into crawlers soon so maybe some more later... i also like the use of lipo and not AA
So it is common in flight to be training someone and them have a transmitter in trainer mode so they can fly but the master transmitter can take over at any point if they get into difficulty this is the same just for land rc
Looks like everything in my Noble NB4Pro except the USB-C. I hope they release just the new battery pack so we can change to USB-C too. Great review man! Thank you.

@@WTFRCCarsawesome thanks that’s good to know and great update for the NB4 to the +! Looking forward to getting the batter for my Pro. 👍🏼
Good video, what languages does it include?
I'm also interested in what languages it has, great video
There are different versions for different regions so I don't know as yet what will be in them official release date is Feb 22nd
will you make more videos of her?
Yep
Another great spot on review! A shame that it took so long for you to get it. You should have been the first to have it.
Yeh just UPS flysky sent it out ages back but covered everything I can see different in it :)
Many thanks for the excellent videos on these NB4s radios
Thanks 👍
Great video as always. I brought the noble pro due to watching your videos and it’s been the best radio transmitter I’ve ever brought so thank you. Was just wondering if the new style steering wheel would fit the noble pro?
Yeh should fit fine although I'm not sure if it will be available separately
Can it bind to MiniZ or do you still need to fit a FS-RM005 2.4GHz Modul? Great informative video.
It will still need the rm005
Is it possible to transfer the model memory from the nb4 to the nb4+? My brother has always wanted my nb4, I figured I would upgrade and give him the old one.
It should be then assistant software for the pc is updated to work with the nb4+
@@WTFRCCarsThanks for the reply! I figured it would. I received my nb4+ today and man does that screen look good.

What firmware version are you running and what radio ?
Can you hook it up to your computer and add custom backgrounds?
Nope
How do you set up the brake rate adjustment?
Got loads of vids coming for all the settings or just read the manual ;)
How many receivers do the New MB4 come with? and are they the new FGR4D receivers?
Depends where you get it from, some 1 fgr4b and sellers have the option to sell a little cheaper with 1 fgr4s
Thanks@@WTFRCCars

Yep definitely agree
Do you think there will be a new Pro soon?
I haven't been told of one
Idk if it's the camera or not but the screen looks better on the plus. Maybe that is due to the fact that the pro is not brand new so the screen is scratched or a little dirty?
The nb4+ is a better screen than the pro it's brighter too :)
is drag braking with reverse available
Drag brake is a feature of the esc you use not the transmitter :)
I don't have data logging on my pro? Is there a update I missed?
Yeh you should have the new v3 firmware with theme settings and data recording
I am a bit confused I need a radio for drag racing to adjust the power of the motor along the run and a start point.

No you need the nb4 pro for that if flysky don't add it in a later firmware for the nb4+
@@WTFRCCars Thanks, so I have to wait for the nb4 pro+ that should be realised soon!
Do the 18 channel receivers work with the NB4+, I understand you wont have 18 channels, but will it bind?

I ordered the nb4 for $189 with 2 receivers. Now I'm thinking of returning it and getting the plus. Do you think its worth the extra $100 plus
Really depends if you want the new features if not the nb4 is still a fantastic transmitter :)
does noble 4+ have the same display as the pro? more information as the pro. i use ibus 2 gps sensor with noble 4 but it cant record the data. so i want to upgrade to monitor accel or top speed. does the nb4+ has this ability?
Nb4+ does data recording but does not have the same display readout as the pro and pro +
latency and framerate compare to the nb4?
It's faster than the nb4 same as pro it also has the 2ch ultra low latency mode

No flysky send them off to have the reviewer names put on them so they ain't sealed when we get them but we don't pay for them so don't mind lol

Do you know if it’s compatible with the FS-GR3E AFHDS Long Range 2.4G 3CH Receiver.
I would hate to have to buy a bunch of new receivers.
Nope.onpy afhds3 same as the nb4 and pro

pretty cool that its possibly that simple. i will keep that in mind. thanks a lot

What are the dimensions of the box?
Thanks in advance.

not sure why the NB4 isn't widely available in the UK,
i would prefer to buy from my LHS, rather than Bang Good etc.
This isn't nb4 it's nb4+ release date is Feb 22 and will likely be available then in uk
