Brian Stormes VLOGS actually yes they can be used for icing. Actually a lot of screen printing tools are from other industries. The amazing part is when you put “for screen printing “ on the title the price is x3 lol
This may be a stupid question, but I am a beginner. I plan on using my screen printing screen with Vinyl instead of burning the image into the emulsion. Doing this what cleaner do you recommend using to ensure all ink is cleaned out of the screen? I only have two screens.
We are hobbyist and have run into an issue. For years we could clean the screen with screen wash without the emulsion coming off. Now we can't get all the way through a single print without the emulsion coming off. The emulsion comes off where the letters are. We have tried buying new emulsion and using less screen wash to clean the screen but the letters are still washing away when we clean the screen. We also have an issue where the paint dries to quickly on the screen. Could you please help with these two issues?
Hey. I’ve been printing for a little while now and I’m able to clean my screens just fine with my ink degrader. But after my screen is completely clean and I go to do my next print job I have issues. The oil from the ink degrader doesn’t allow my screen tape to stick down well enough. I was curious if you had any tips for me to remove that oil left from the ink degrader so my screen tape will stick will stick for my next print job. Thanks
Vilefiles we use a on press wash that seems to work well. It degrades in and wipes off easily. Sometimes we use screen opener for tough ink or reopen mesh. What degrader are you using?
Correct me if I’m wrong but is your “scraper” a frosting spatula for cakes?

A tip: watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Kaleb Reign definitely, have been watching on flixzone} for since december myself =)
I love the One Shear plug. lol
Makes sense about the screen fee. The more I clean screens off the more it makes sense lol. It takes a long time reclaiming a bunch of screens

Easyway products work great for us.

What brand is that spatula
Can you use oil paint instead of ink?
No it would get stuck in the screen. May refer to the screen print ink or plastisol as paint, but it does differ.
Arnold what do you use for ghosting... When I cleaned my screen all emulsion comes off but I can still see my logo on screen. 🤔
Degreaser and haze remover
Spray it on both sides and use scrub brush
