Hey, I don’t recommend it with any ink really, but a tip would be to keep the heat moving and just to try make it touch dry with the heat gun. You would need a heat press to then allow the heat to get through the ink to cure it without scorching the shirt. Not ideal but I do understand it’s not possible to have a flash and conveyor dryer from the beginning.
Hiya, Does the easisolve 701 have a strong odour? I've only ever used screenwash/paint thinner to remove plastisol inks and it's quite aggressive in terms of smell and destroying nitrile gloves. Loving your videos by the way!
Hey - I know what you mean, I used to use a screen wash where I felt light headed afterwards and ruined my hands if I didn't wear gloves. This one is almost nice smelling! I would still wear gloves but I haven't needed to wear a mask for just press wash applications. All their stuff is good -the dip tank is by far the best investment this past year! again you can use our code in the UK - or email us for a US code - info@squeegeeandink.co.uk
Hey, that is likely. I always give my ink a really good stir and that warms it up a bit before using. You could try and push through mixing it for a few mins before writing it off! It is is really hard then yes a fresh pot is needed :)
Honestly I was askingmyself why is this 19 mins long. But this video is soo informative.
haha, I do go on a bit!
Brilliant video . What a comprehensive guide this is .. thanks again
Thanks! yes we are trying really hard with the videos at the moment! - glad you liked it.
This is a very informative video. Thanks!
i've heard you can cure plastisol inks with a heat gun, I want to have a go which Amex plastisol ink would you recommend for this?

I would love for you to make a video of white discharge on dark t-shirts with its proper formulation of those AMEX brand products
OOh it might not be a whole youtube video for a while but next time we have that job I will make a video on Instagram! - Cheers
thanks so much for sharing
