Hello from Andy in the East Riding of Yorkshire UK. Thank you for the tips. I have just purchased the DJI Mini 3 Pro RC less than a week ago, so still early days for me.
Thats also a reason why I like to launch from my hand ABOVE my head. In case something goes wrong the drone goes nowhere but safely to the drawing board. I also take a look at the props to check wether or not they are severely damaged.
Nice video and to the point. Last week we hiked 2 hours to a mountain top for some epic M3P footage (and no cell coverage), only to discover that DJI had logged me out. I was left with the dreaded “Restricted Mode @ 30m height, 80m distance”. I did my best but this was a reminder for my “Departure Check-list”. Make sure you’re still logged into the DJI Fly App while you still have internet coverage!!!
good advise. I normally hover a while until I am sure the home point is recorded as that was one of my fears. Your scene at the end looks good, looks like Finland
Hi, nice video clip. It is very windy in UK 40MPH so no flying for me today. Looked at sound settings again can't find anything a miss? Maybe I have a duff controller used to work. Happy Christmas 🎉 Alan
Thank you and Happy Christmas to You, Alan! Here in Hamburg it’s raining cats and dogs so no fly weather here too. I am not sure if there is a setting for the warning sounds. I can check when I have the controller at hand if there is a box to tick or something. Of course what could help would be a factory reset?
My brother had a large drone with 13" propellers and suddenly lost one in mid flight. He didn't do a quick pre flight check and it wasn't pretty when it landed. May it R.I.P. 😂
What is in your Emergency Pouch ? I need a link in English. I don’t know how to switch to English on Amazon Website that would still give YOU credit for any sales
I am not sure if I can link on the comments but it is the "Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer" - surely available at your local amazon end ebay as well. I just cut the unnecessary logos and patches away. ;) Thinking of the affiliate link is so kind of you, appreciate!

Early days are the best days! Greetings to the UK, hope I can visit some day again!
Have fun with your new drone and enjoy!

Why I have never even thought about that!? That is really good advice!

Good advice!
Good advice. That has saved me in the past when I had a loose propeller and didn't know it.
thank you! a quick check doesn’t take any time at all and can save a lot of trouble. nice skies!

That’s a solid tip too! Thank you.
Indeed, it is Kemijärvi, Finland during the midsummer, well spotted!
All the best & nice skies!
Should be on every preflight check list!! A bit like a Airline does a walk around before every flight.
exactly. a quick look, often times something not being as it should be catches the eye and can save a lot of stress!
Solid piece of advice I had not considered. Thank you!
happy to hear that! nice skies!
Awesome tips! And thanks for the shoutout 😀
Singular Andreas, singular. A tip! Just the tip.
@@leomannisto well ofc 🤦♂️

Thanks mate, now I just have to buy a drone.
Yesss. Can only recommend, it might be fun =)
Survey the area you are flying. I didn’t and lost my Air 2S because of it.
that is solid advice! there might be suprises. And even verical wind bursts near cliffs.
sorry to hear that your Air2S didn’t survive :(
