I found this game much too late, and what's worse, I fell in love with it everything about this game won me over and was an addiction. I got a good two months of it and was live on my stream on twitch the moment the servers shut for good. :( Bring it back! But at any rate, long live the memories of such a fantastic and wimsy MMO!
You know what I love most about Wildstar?
Look at the comments. It cannot die as long as we remember it. And as long as people make it a private server.
In fact it's still available on Steam. It didn't became such a big name as the WarCraft, but at least it didn't turned into an endless money pit for mostly cosmetic reasons and to serve the rich player's lazyness either...
You know the fun part about the Warrior in this trailer? His sword is made up the same material as him. In other words; his sword is essential made out of pure, refined Manliness!!!
You know, if I were to judge this game by this trailer alone, I would say it looks like a mix of Borderlands 2, Team Fortress 2, and World of Warcraft set in the planet of Disney's Treasure Planet. I dunno, but it seems like it'd be fun!
Not to mention Ratchet & Clank + Jak & Daxter.
Aye, it's a Treasure Planet MMO.
I have to say, These guys have a wonderful animation team working on these. I'm very impressed with the quality of videos I've seen so far.

I'm so sad this game didn't succeed. :(
So sad, this mmo was solid, it just needed a bit of questing rework and some raids scaling mechanics for nonhardcore players.
And some god damn advertisement. They made a shitload of content I didnt hear anything about. I suppose thats one of the main reasons this game didnt last. At least we are getting a private server to land on Nexus once more.

I'm liking every flick so that hopefully the developers know we want Wildstar to return. Which may not seem like much, but if enough people like it, pass it onto the former devs and express their desires for it to return, I predict it'll work

What I watched so far,to me the graphics look like a mix of SWTOR & WoW. The gameplay looks like a mix of WoW & GW2 ! I LOVE IT !

Christopher G Morin haha "good luck with ESO" I also found that game really boring, no feeling at all and took me around 1 hour untill i closed down the game and uninstalled it. Waste of time, they should be sticking to singleplayer Elder Scrolls games ^^
OMG just hurry up and release already! I just can't wait to play this game, it's filled with such vibrant and interesting characters. Please Carbine, I'm begging you, please make these awesome characters regulars in the actual game. I'd love to come across Ish'mael in a few epic encounters, perhaps a raid maybe? Although don't kill him, sniff. This game has already exceeded my expectations just for the pure scope of creativity put into it, it has such heart.
I've already got characters I love and a faction I'm really into. My favorite character being the lovable and amazing Kit Brinny, and my faction definitely being the exiles. Future Aurin Esper here, ready to cause some chaos in dominion minds lol. This game is going to be a blast, just a matter of time. Finally, an MMO that is actually different yet familiar at the same time.
well with such characters they're going to need a good Main story quest to go with these characters. MMOs that avoid main story quests usually also avoid expanding on character like these until some kind of short temporary event happens which plenty of people can mess out on seeing.

I find it funny how this guy belittles the Engineers at first but knows even the _Medics_ mean business. I mean, if the "doctor" can give you that much pain, what else a guy that sounds like he'd be holding a wrench and a toolbox?

I pre-ordered the special edition and have been playing closed beta and open beta PLEEEEEEASE please please PLEEASE tell me that at some point EVERYTHING will be voice acted! I am a slow reader so I end up missing a lot and find I don't get to fully enjoy a lot of the jokes, because I have to keep reading. I would probably play a scientist IF it were all voice acted, in fact I KNOW I would, even if I would basically just be hitting the G key a whole bunch I LOVE hearing the writing. You guys have amazing writers and voice actors, it would give the game a lot more SOUL and flare. This is my biggest issue with the game so far, that and more skilled/non-circular telegraphs don't have enough of a difference in damage to out weigh just using the two main stalker attacks that have a non-aimed circle radius around the character.
This is going to be my new MMO. I have played Asheron's Call, Guild Wars, Dark Age of Camelot, Ever Quest, Ever Quest 2, City of Heroes, City of Villains, World Of Warcraft and grew up with regular RPGs and MMOs; this is by far the most interesting and promising of ALL the MMOs and Action Adventure games I have ever played. I hope it is just not fully done and there is an intent to add voice acting, static animations, and other things to make it feel more ALIVE, because seriously the art and voice acting make it feel like a 90s teen cartoon and I LOVE IT!

Been about a year now. Still sad they game ended up going under. Maybe one day someone will make something with the same soul and do it justice.
This was great.
So much talent, love and dedication put into this game only to take it down while trashheeps like aion and tera, once good games in their own right, are still kicking.
Bring Wildstar Back
It would be absolutely awesome that you could get different skills out of exploring.
For example, the Esper could get some summons when they see some beast themselves, so it gets into their imagination or something and then recreate it with their minds. Warriors could learn some move from looking some NPC fight in a far away land, like an achievment or something. Or like in Skyrim with the shouts maybe.
And so on! That would make the skills something you could discover and search for, what do you think?

Damn, miss the game for sure. But their animation/writing crew was on point. Wildstar MMO won't ever make it back but I would settle for a tv show with that spirit.

You'd think he'd have learned his lesson about the "don't let the name fool you" thing after the medic. I mean sure it's easy for us to tell since we can read it on the site but logic states that asking if he's afraid of the engineer then it must mean that there's a reason to be.

Oh how I miss this game..
I loved wow when i played it 7 years ago... the only reason i am not going back to wow is becouse i feel i have missed to much in that time. This game looks like it has that same charm wow has so i am going to be there from day 1 and enjoy it. I hope it will be a crowded game i love seeing small talk in the chat. Have been playing dcuo and i am kinda missing that.
