There since of humor it seems is more of darker more or less what we would be mortified hearing.
They should create an animated series based off of this game. I would most definitely watch it.

I watched this and feel that it has a massive Ratchet & Clank vibe in this little video. Love it!
Before Arcane, there was Wildstar Flicks! God, I wish this would make a comeback. They even had a Rowsdower for crying out loud!
As an Explorer, I have no idea what I'm doing 90% of the time...

+Draugen as a...well, a player...i have no idea what i'm doing 99% of the time...seriously, everything scaletes so quickly...
They're quite easy once you get used to them.
Just open up the info panel and the drop down button and it gives you a bar telling you how close you are to the hidden object

Tell me more, please.
When crafting, you move a cursor on a grid by adding certain ingredients and materials. You can discover related blueprints by having the cursor on a hidden blueprint somewhere on the grid. These blueprints are then marked on the grid for future reference.
You will also unlock new technologies by crafting certain schematics (i.e. craft all versions of medishots using a certain plant to unlock recipies for another plant), which will then again grant tradeskill-points you can spend on improving your craftsmanship (there are several tiers, every tier offers 3 improvements and you can pick one each).
It's hard to explain it all in detail. Now that the NDA has been lifted, there's going to be lots of videos about crafting on YT pretty soon.

I think it's the face. Mechari, showing off some of that superior Eldan engineering at work, have very expressive faces, and Voxine shows it very well.
It's a multipronged attack. 1) People into robots well... she's a rather sexy gynoid... isn't she? 2) people into being controlled are probably liking her attitude... and 3) people into controlling like the idea of rubbing that smug look off her circuits. 4) That voice... 'nuff said.

I love the reference to the Daisy advertisement. So far, I really like the sense of humor in the posts. Hope it carries over to the game.
There was a Meet the Mechari article featuring a Q&A with Agent Voxine here. Here is one of the first bits.
"Q: That sounds ominous. So you're a Mechari! I didn't realize they made robots quite so...shapely.
A: Rest assured, your reaction is perfectly normal. It merely confirms the effect of an appealing physique on those of diminished intelligence. Such as yourself."
I really like it how the Dominion went up and renamed the Humans to Cassians, loving the fact they did that

I really like the core design of the Mechari. They are humanoid, but not completely human looking. I personally think this sort of core design is what we should do with real life robots. They would be similar to humans so as not to completely alienate them, but different enough as to be distinguishable. Almost like a different "species" or "race".

This actually looks original and fun. I really like the idea of settling areas, or mapping out uncharted territory.
Mechari have been shown to be able to use guns (like here and their race intro video), but how come they can't be Spellslingers???

+Sapphire Shard Spellslingers in Wildstar are equivalent to traditional mages/wizards in other games. They are magic - however, instead of channeling spells through wands or their hands, they are channeled through their pistols.
Have never thought that robots can be so sexy. I guess I know now what race I will play when Wildstar launches.
@Zartyzzo for this game class effects weapon types, however within these classes there are roles, roles are how your character plays when it comes to going out there in the field with a small group (of at least 3). There are at least 3 roles and at most 4. The first is the damage role, this role focuses on doing the most damage as possible, the damage role serves no purpose and is very easy to master.
I get more excited about this game with every new video!
This really gives me a Ratchet and Clank feel. Humorous, light-hearted, but still deep and engaging. Looking forward to it.

i love the vibe of this game! makes me smile :) you can tell this is gonna be a lot of fun.
The cartoony art-style really does remind me of TF2, but this game is far from similar to the beloved war-themed hat simulator. I can't wait for WildStar, it looks amazing!

fck i miss this game... there should be a rule that if you are not maintaining a server for your mmo anymore, then you should release the source code (without the credential/login part ofc), on github so others could make private servers :( It just feel unfair that i bought a game 7 years before and cannot play with it as they shut down all the servers : /

Love the paths system. Gives me motivation to make one of each path + race on both faction sides, giving 8 reasons of replayability.
I also hope that having alts with different paths have account wide benefits that affect all my other characters. Like maybe my Soldier path can access a database that my Scientist collected. Or my Settler can make use of map data my Explorer put together.

Fantastic job guys! Cinematic is brilliantly crafted, scripting is great and the voice acting is well delivered and well directed. Take the day off, you earned it. (Unless you have more videos to make...in which case, get cracking, I demand to be entertained!)
I'm starting to see that. I started hardcore PC gaming in 2009 and gave up the console completely. I have never looked back or even wanted to pick up a console since.
I've been holding off, but in addition to being another clever video, the "path" system just sounds bloody cool. This convinced me to sign up for the beta... I just hope this game can live up to it's hype.
I'm not a MMO Player have always been a Racing/Fighting game fan. But this look's like the turning point. Really intrested in this WildStar!

You're not limited to only doing what you pick as your path. Path content just gives you MORE of what you pick. You still get to do other things. So even though you picked settler you'll still get to explore and fight and research, but you're going to build shit more because you picked settler. Paths are also not the same as the main questing system.
gonna be a good game, i like how you can attack without restrictions just like a console video game, i also like the different paths for each class

i love how comical it is. Even though they're with the evil empire, the Dominion recruits are horrified at what they've gotten themselves into

@Zartyzzo class is the same as out is in almost every single mmo/rpg it appears on, eventually you're going to get in fights now class basically focuses on how you fight, whether you're mainly for support or go in guns blazing. Class effects what types of weapons you will have if any, you're abilities, and role in team matchups. For now I'll tell you the classes and what they do but you should look them up for more info

Whenever someone mentions the bartle test I remember Wildstar because of the paths.
I have a preorder in for ESO but the more I see about this game the more my interests are peaked. Beta test this weekend should make my choice since I have already tried ESO.

Indeed. Games look so much smoother with clean animations than crisp graphics. Take Anachronox for example. Little to write home about with graphics, but pretty good animations.
Well you'll probably get that option with WildStar it's confirmed that it'll be a hyrbrid business model which i would more than be willing to bet means it includes a subcription option.
Looking forward to this very much.
I really wanna get in on the beta...I would pay a subscription fee when it is public...This seems worth it.
