I wouldn't say he ignores them. He has specific ways around it, but Yoshi players still have to know how the game works to apply these ways effectively. Yoshimitsu is a little bit like jazz music: you can break some rules, but you have to understand them thoroughly anyway.

I think of +/-frames in terms of my opponent's next move. If i hit him with a +3, his next 10 frame move would be 13 frames instead because 10+3 = 13, and if i attack and get blocked with a -8 penalty, his next hopkick would be 7 frames to impact because 15-8 = 7. It's easier for me to analyse the sequences of moves on matches with this.

OKAY so Lee's 3 hit string's second hit is inescapable after the first hit connects, it has a start up of 15 frames, he's -5 after it hits if he stops the string there and doesn't hit his 3rd move. Though, you should be able to do a 10 frame punish. if you're already gaurding after BEFORE those -5frames of his disadvantage. you should be able to hit your 10 frame the instant you are able to gaurd. and his 3rd move starts up in 20 frames, assuming it starts the instant his 15 frame ends that would at best mean his 20 frame is really a 15 frame, or maybe truly a 25 frame if he has -5 frame disadvantage. then you should be able to 15 frame launch.

Block the first jab, then crouch or sidestep the second one before punishing. Jabs always hit high so they won't hit crouching opponents, and afaik, most crouching jabs are minus. Generally speaking if a move puts you at -3 or lower, you can utilize your movement (crouching, backdash, sidestep) to avoid them unless they have homing properties. Sometimes you might even have a move in your arsenal that can go under/over attacks that you can use if you're not absurdly minus. If you do a 10 frame move while your opponent is -10, then the move will connect unless there's some hitbox shenanigans going on.
But you can learn frame data all you want when you’re actually playing online there is no way you can calculate the frames while the opponent is doing dozens of moves and okis. If i try thinking abt frames online i can’t do anything, so i just play mind games and traps and hope for the best
You don't learn frame data so you can calculate advantages on the fly, no one does that. You learn frame data to know which of your moves are safe on block, punishable on block, which are ch launchers, which you can use to punish the other character's moves and more importantly, what moves can push an advantage.
You say you can't mash in tekken, but have you every played Eddy and mashed the kick buttons in a random rhythm? It's very abusable in my Mighty Ruler ranked fights and I dont even play eddy much.
Either mighty rulers don’t know what they doing or you lying out your teeth. Ain’t no way you just mashing two buttons that high. You know what you doing.

There is little to no consequence for spamming tackle and getting a combo's worth of damage from it plus the crazy oki he gets that allows him to loop even more grabs. That is a robbery character with a gimmick that is hard to 1+2 break even in the pro scene.

So what do you do when an opponent spams an endless +1 jab?
1.) sidestep or backdash and jab back.
2.) duck or do a move that high crushes.
Make it whiff, the jab is only +1 when blocked. A whiff is insanely easy to punish because no blockstun.
