I’m curious what did you do to the transmission in your d-series I’ve got a z6 in my del sol with forged internals, built head no css or sleeves just a block guard it makes a little over 400 wheel on e85 but. I’ve got a carbon master kit from synchro tech and a mfactory lsd. I just destroyed 3rd the other day I was just wondering what you did to your trans to get it to hold 600? Love the videos btw
Thank you! A del sol has to be fun. I've never owned one lol. And we kept swapping the lsd into stock transmissions and we're changing them out almost every weekend. We were also pushing them to the limit in comparison to some street pulls but at even at 400hp, the right variables could cause an issue or catastrophic failure. I recommend either an MTM gear or gearset depending on what you can afford. If you do alot pulls just get the 3rd gear. Which sounds like that's your problem anyway lol. You can also check out "whoopee Doo racing* on Facebook, he is a dealer for those gears I believe
@@Speedytuning I definitely love my del sol it’s a blast and ok thanks for the info I’ll definitely check it out cus I was looking around and couldn’t find any aftermarket gears for the d series transmissions I’d definitely like to look into getting a stronger gear set or doing a b series transmission I’d just have to find an adapter plate for it I know the trans will hold for a little bit with the carbon master synchro kit but I’m planning on getting one of the blocks I have and getting a css put in it and I’d like to make 500 so I’d definitely would like to get a stronger gear set if I can before I try to make 500

And your much smarter than us because we just sent it and had transmission problems until we put the car to rest. It was ridiculous and it was our own fault lol you can definitely get to 500hp no problem, even on a stock block, I just can't guarantee how long it will live lol.

Whats your setup
Try a different brand transmission line for that truck. Run into that alot. Shouldn't be going through the fittings like that.
