Is it normal to have that amount of white smoke in cold start? I'm new to working on a nt855 big cam and the first time timing one. And in cold start it blows white smoke till it gets 90F water temperature

it's stupid funny what these little 4 bangging rice rockets can do ! the power for such a small motor can produce is ridiculous. d16z6 can produce high horsepower with a lot of torque for super cheap. it's so funny how somthing so small can do what it does. gotta love it!!

Did my timing belt cuz the water pump was leaking, couldn't get it tensioned enough despite following 4 different youtube videos, thought I had it good enough, a few weeks later I downshifted to go around a roundabout and jumped timing. ONLY 2 teeth, but I think I smacked a valve, because now I got 50psi in the 4th cylinder, and 180 in the rest. Hoping I didn't screw up piston rings or anything so this job that you just did doesn't turn into me pulling the rest of the engine.

You needed to copper spray the head gasket for good seal. Thats only gonna last you less than a year if that. You should’ve also taken the head in to get machined and part washed to ensure a better seat on the gasket

Loving the updates . Keep them coming. That bracket is beautiful we run off the timing belt side on our bseries sfwd car. Its real tight over there. Distributor side would be so much nicer. Make sure you have a regulator for the mechanical pump also. We just switched to full methanol this year 10gpm pump and 4 700pph injectors.
