Today, I am debunking all the myths and dissecting every single scripture related to these scriptures verse by verse so that we can really uncover the entire truth.
As Christians, it’s very important to be modest, but it’s also extremely important to make sure that you have the right heart.
The Bible says that people look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
Hopefully, but the end of this video, you can be confident about what the Bible says about what you should wear and how you should dress.

I'm 16 years old (I'll be 17 in September) and a lot of women in my high school dress immodest, I get criticized for not dressing "trendy", but I explain I'm Christian and modesty is important to me.

So what is modest about a bikini when your body is completely naked. It is just like wearing a bra and undies. The devil is very deceptive. Ask yourself and be honest what is the difference between bra and undies VERSUS bikini? They both expose your body parts that are reserved for your husband.

You've got God and His word so twisted. God wants you to be submitted to Him first and foremost. That means coming to Him broken, naked and willing to let Him renew you, heart and mind. He's trying to strip you because you have made an idol out of your appearence, how do you know? Because you're not willing to let it go for the Lord to build you back up. He will restore you to His standard of beauty and virtue but not before you stop fighting and submit COMPLETELY.

Women of God do not wear bikinis regardless the occasion, the location or any other excuse that you find. Worldly culture has got a powerful grip on you but God can still use you. He's definitely not using you to make videos about christian modesty though, you're leading others astray with these.

I agree. When I came to the Lord, first He convicted me of my piercings and jewelry. Then on makeup and also to change my wardrobe. This is also part of sanctification. All glory to God. As a single man who loves the Lord, I would not have any desire to date either one of you, because you dress in a very prideful way that draws attention to yourself. I think the part where the Bible spoke of wearing the other genders clothes probably has to do with cross dressing and any other thing associated with looking like the gender you’re not.

You people are fitting the God of the bible to match your standards and unwilling to actually conform to the actual biblical standard of the most high.
How so? What did I say wrong?
Clothing was meant for the purpose of covering shame and nakedness which we now have as a byproduct of the fall and so it will remain until we receive our glorified bodies when christ returns and purges our sin consciousness so that we no longer remember the neural pathways of sin. That being said a christian is advised strongly to dress in a modest fashion to cover nakedness ie. Only your husband/wife should know what you look like naked( this is approved by God within marriage). You should always address your attire when going into public settings by overlaying it with fear of the lord. By no means should you entice a stranger to (hypothetically) look at your shoulders and wonder what other riches God has given to your husbands eyes alone. This is not a matter of conscience/betrayal of conscience like eating pork, but it should be led by Gods overlay on what human sexuality is and how to properly revere him. This is not an issue like " oh well I'm a christian so I should probably see what's fitted into our culture of christian wear is so maybe I could stretch the lines between cultural worldly vs a judeo-Christian world view normative" basically don't try to blur the lines as well as dont be too legalistic, rather be biblical and practical wrt taking Jesus and your husband into regard.
Note also I'm not saying sacrifice your feminine beauty and become exceedingly legalistic where you would wear a bedsheet and dress like master Yoda, biblical feminity is good, where if you stand modestly before God you should be dressing in a manner where your legs, thighs, bosom and shoulders are covered, as it is easy for men to be enticed. I'm not saying dont wear jewelry of nice perfumes or dawn a nice hairstyle but do it from a modest standpoint and regard El Shaddai in everything you put your hand and your heart towards. Ezekiel is a prophet. The scripture referenced is a marriage metaphor of God's love for his nation, Jerusalem. These adornments are symbolic of God's grace, in providing Jerusalem as a nation with (her) "beauty and prominence." It's symbolic of the marriage covenant between God and His nation, taken as His bride. Verse 15 is a proclamation of Jerusalem's condemnation for spiritual harlotry and idolatry..."But you trusted in your own beauty, played the harlot because of your fame..." This has nothing to do with makeup and adornments in a carnal sense.
From the onset, I would not state your clothing on this discussion as modest, because it is see through. But if you were more of a fuller bigger busted women it would have been more obvious.
I agree with you that women can make up depending on the heart and intent. However the drag queen and over contouring look makes women look ugly. Simple and subtle is best.

Love this! You have such a sweet quiet spirit and I think that is modest. A woman can dress plain with no jewelry or makeup or pants and walk into a room with a hateful, judgemental and unfriendly attitude and that is not modest to me. Modesty to me means you are gentle and not self promoting. Yes women can dress showing to much flesh and get a lot if attention but also the one who walks around acting superior to others also draws a lot of attention. So to me it's the attitude, a meek and a quiet spirit. You can dress ultra modesty or modern modest and have that beautiful spirit.

Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."
The Bible spoke about a woman dressing based on her heart. So if a woman likes to dress sensually, then her heart is evil as well. This scripture from Proverbs proves that a woman need not dress a sexy way just for a man to like her. If a woman is clothed with strength and dignity, she will be confident enough to say that "I am God's wonderful and beautiful creation!"
God even compares the architecture in heaven to the beauty of eyeliner, and Job's daughter was named after a makeup applicator.

Drinking is also permissible if health can handle it and not mix meds with it that would cause even slight hazzard.
Many people believe wine was grape juice, or believe it was not nearly as fermented as today. But you are right, it is not drinking in itself.

This is so surface- The people of the bible are Israel -easterners not westerners who did not have to face bikini's, men wore what we call robes and skirts, the type and how it was used had various meanings., the type of head coverings also had various meanings because even prostitutes wore them, as for make up- the same goes the people of Israel would copy the surrounding cultures. Please disregard the above comment if you define Christian as someone who figures out the word by what it means to them vs what The Word is saying and speaking to the culture and times, He (Messiah) lived in to give them an understanding of what is pleasing to the Most High and Why. Our culture already define what make up, bikini, types of pants and jewelry means - we cannot redefine it by the bible - ask the designers of these things as to who they made it for and what the goal was. It depends on how makeup is used. You are still young and maybe when you get to be over 60 you will still have eyebrows. At lot of women lose theirs due to age so I put on a little mascara and eyebrow makeup because I am not comfortable going out in public looking like an alien.

Hi i hope you would base your arguments better.....The bible is a really old book written with a culture of Jews nearly 2000 some 5000yrs plus...Bikinis and other outfits were not existing ...this are only things in the modern world so there's no way they would write on things which were not there in their time...but God gives us sound judgement...for example is watching pornography godly?..well one would argue its not really bad since it's not written in the bible which is absurd...you see wickedness is evolving and scripture says people will invent new ways of sinning....For you as a godly woman your desires are to honor God and your husband with your body....You may wear a mini dress showing your skin ...to you your doing it from a pure heart as you call it but Paul says in the scriptures somethings he ought not to do if it will cause his brother to stumble....Truth is if you expose sensitive parts as woman it will seduce a man no matter how pure your intentions were ....If you're desire is to please God in all things you will be willing to dress more modestly not for yourself only but for God and his people....the devil uses worldy women to trap and seduce men in such dressing why would any godly person want to partake in what God is fighting.
