Thought to drop some tips on how to dress modestly and fashionably. I hope you find this video helpful. What are some other tips that you use? I'd love to know 😉
@@nadiandjessy3212 glad you found it too. I live n Nigeria so I shop there but you know you can but modest clothes everywhere, it’s all about considering your personal style and making pieces work for you. Perhaps I’ll do a video and share tips on this.
God told me to stop wearing high heels. I'm not the only one who got this conviction -- Jasmine Jasmine has a video on her personal conviction about heels on her channel.
Yay, lol sometimes I wonder if it’s too much or my pace to fast so this is very cool to hear. I’m glad you’re thinking of dress more modestly girl, I so look forward to it 😉
Ahhhhh E for ENERGY. You can literally tell your passion and excitement through your voice. And thank you for the tips. I agree with the fact that styling things differently and just really being creative with your outfit can make things look way stylish while still being modest. And ouuuu I do love a good print on print vibe❤️
Thank you Faith lol I actually was especially on the day I filmed this 😉🙈. Right exactly! Modesty it’s not boring, it just give us a chance to be more creative. And yes to prints on prints
Hello Princess Audu, I'm so glad I came across your channel. Your content is amazing. Please do you have any tips to style someone with a noticeable defect on the leg. I had an accident that left me limping and before the accident, I've struggled with my fashion sense. If you have tips on how to identify what goes well for one's body type as well, that would be lovely. Please help a sister in distress feel confident in what she wears 🙏🙏
I love your energy ❤️. I’m new in christiantity and heard just a few days ago of it . school begins in one week and until then I want to find my modest style so I have to hurry up ,so you are sooooooooo helpful, God bless you ❤️☦️✝️
Your giving me hope, I want to mix and match color blocking for a party gown for my husband's 50th birthday. But I get a bit nervous. Trying to make it myself and lots of diff colored layered skirts. I'm trying to find this stripe fabric with certain colors I saw in a picture but havnt found it yet but if I can't find the stripe I might try a large plaid printed taffeta instead
Just found your channel today. Another episode of where quarantine brought you😂. Honestly I'm in love with the channel already. Cant wait to see more!! #subscribed
Trousers are my go-to, I love trousers a lot but I do not wear colorful ones and I do not accessorize. After watching this video, I have to start acting right ohhh. I want to be very fashionable. Thank you for sharing, Sarah🤗
My favorite currently is a pair of burnt orange wide leg trousers I got for $4 and I pair it with a blouse or a tshirt. My only issue is shoes. I broke my foot a few years ago and it hasn't healed properly so I can't wear heels. I have wide feet and don't like shoes much ir tennis shoes. I wear mules or brown hiking boots with jeans or joggers, if you can give tips for wearing flats or mules with different outfits I'd appreciate it. I'm short and most pants and skirts even with heels are too long for me. I'm petite but full figured and me being stuck in flats can throw my whole outfit off. I've gotten into wearing longer tunic open front tops and jackets and gives me more options to pick some bottoms that got with my mules or boots. But love the wide leg trousers especially the flowy light fabrics because it's hot where I live, but I want to wear in summer and if it over 100° out I'm not inclined to put on boots. I'll probably just have to hem them. I'd like to make some but knowing where it should fall wearing flats or or boots is hard. I tried to pin them so I don't step on the but with flowy light fabric it didn't work well but is OK on my thicker fabric trousers. I've thought about clog shoes but havnt tried since my foot broke 2 years ago. Maybe all my dresses just need slits to make wearing flats easier 🤔 I wore dresses almost daily until I broke my foot and I could get my feet into any shoes other than a pair of snow boots for a year. so since then I've had to figure out other options and this year I can finally wear some shoes. My current go to other than my hiking boots are a pair of closed toed velvet mule slippers in a dusty rose. I've decided they go with everything because it's all I've got other than really ugly pool sandals. But I have decided I'm ready to shop for a few more mules and consider a pair of clogs. I'll be wearing a ball gown in 6 months so I've got to decide on shoes so I now exactly where I should make my ball skirt fall. Took me 6 months before Christmas to prepare to wear boots in the snow. I had to practice wearing boots and imbing stairs, going on walks and eventually ride a bike just so I could go play in the snow for Christmas. So I'm willing to do some work to wear a ball gown in six months, but my feet do hurt and I'm getting arthritis even though I'm only 37, I have a disease that is currently making my bones brittle and arthritic and I walk like an old lady but I'm not an old lady and don't want to look so homely just because my body has decided otherwise. Before my broken foot I was very sick for almost 2 years from same disease and lost 80lbs uncontrollably and struggled with my body and its changes for a long time, after getting some treatment and surgeries I'm doing better and few yrs later almost back to my prior weight. But going from full figured to bottom percentile of my weight and them wanting to put me on feeding tube and now to being full figured again is alot and I don't always know how to dress as my body changes I was size 16 down to size 0 then now I flex between maybe size 12+ and I'm 5'2". Even bras now I hate with a passion. I don't like that most clothes for last 5 years just have not fit me or my body changes so I don't like to buy anything I love because in a month or two it won't fit. So I'm investing in elastic waist trousers, joggers and skirts and t-shirts, open front large shirts, tunics and jackets, and experimenting with making my own wrap and infinity dresses and trouser sets. I miss feeling feminine and the longer shirt tops and tunics makes me feel more feminine if I'm just wearing joggers or jeans. I try to either do wide leg pant or a larger open front shirt dress. Then pair those with something that is not too boxy on the other end. I don't like tight clothes so I try to work around that but sometimes lose my figure.
Ooh that’s a great idea, I believe body types might be sorta general and restrictive. I do believe people should wear what they want but then some things look better on certain body types and features. I’ll do something on this soon. Thank you for the recommendation!
Great tips!! Especially, I appreciate tip 4 because even though I tend to opt for neutral colors I love unique detail and fabrics cuts, like I love puff sleeves too lol 😘
Great video, lots of practical advice. With the right eye and strategy we actually have lots of options to be modest while having a sense of personal style. Lovely inspiration as sisters in Christ.
I’m so grateful that you took your time to make this video. My sister and I were looking for more ways to be modest but yet stylish. So thank you thank you thank you thank you so very much you did an excellent job... For those of you watching this video my prayer is that you ALL come to know JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH as your LORD AND SAVIOR. ROMANS 10:9 say that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that GOD raised JESUS from the dead we will be saved.

You gave a lot of useful information in your video and I love how you included other creators. Also, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. But God showed his great love for us, by sending Christ to die for us, while we were still sinners.
Please go back and do research on dressing modestly and put out a new video, i love your energy and some of you ideas , I hope you are not offended. I telling you because you want to help make a difference. thanks in advance for understanding.
Umm you do realize that what we term as modest is subjective right? So you saying my interpretation is incorrect, hmmm. I will not be doing more research.
@@princessaudu6571 I apologize if i have offended you but dressing modest means covering the elbows, legs, thighs, backside, stomach area, and breast area. @@thomasinedouglas1280 are you Muslim? I'm just curious because some people interpret modesty different. I'm Christian and I know that modesty means to not attract attention to yourself and the video does seem to want to attract attention which is not modest, but if covering all parts like elbows seem too excessive to me. I think wearing pants is OK but it has to be loose to not show your figure too much. Just curious because I want to know more bc Muslims are more strict and Christians are more lenient when it comes to modesty. I know modesty in men vs women are different. Also some verses would help as well. I'm still not there yet as I'm reading the Bible.
The information you are giving is incorrect. When you dress modestly red should NOT be a color of choice because it attract too much attention. Clothes should be loose and flowing not fitting the body. Flat shoes should be worn NOT hills , no make up, excessive jewlery, and head should be covered. Pants show off the body because they fit. Loose and flowing dresses and skirts do not. When you put a cami over a turtleneck it only shows off the breast more. Wearing splits, and certain styles of skirts puts more focus on the backside. The whole purpose of dressing modest is NOT to try to be sexy with your clothes. You want to look like the country girl next door not the person who shows up and has the floor. No offense to the country girls.
