Thanks for the great show, George. I finally made a decent score at a local thrift store. I got a Fenton flame crest vase in perfect condition for $3. It is really beautiful. Made my day!
So much fun, George. As a child I remember playing with my Granny's Little Abner wind up band. It slipped thru a space that landed it under the porch and lost. I've never forgotten it and have never seen another until now. I'm not surprised at it's cost. We giggled hysterically at their singing and dancing. I was glad to hear your reference to Laura Cauldwell and her pottery interest. She is delightful to follow. Glad you made it to the Ohio Shop and thanks for taking us along. Cat
Just love your videos, George!!! Such a soothing voice and you provide us with so much knowledge and information. Great learning opportunity. Thank you!!!
WOW what an amazing mall. I was completely enthralled by all the glass. That 41" Viking swung vase was beautiful. Not much into orange but the Bittersweet line was wow. Don't forget all the cranberry Pilgrim glass. Thanks for taking me along it was terrific to see all that in one spot. Have a great day and Happy Holidays to you and yours
Omg - I jumped out of my chair when you showed the Cambridge glass! At 8:36 there was an apricot/pinkish glass sitting dog on the top shelf identical to the blue one my mother left me. She said it was bought full of candy for her as a child(she was born in 1920) and I always wondered where it was made. Thanks for all the knowledge you share. Your memory and vocabulary are top notch! Thumbs up from Oregon!👍Merry Christmas!🎄🥰
Merry Christmas George and Zeno ❤ The Evening In Paris bottles brought back memories 😊 Every mom got that for Christmas and we bought it at the 5 and ten with our saved money . It is a classic !
@@TheAntiqueNomadThe Colbalt Blue bottle and snazzy tassel made it spicy. We thought mom would love it's exotic look. The dusting powder was pewey smelling too.😊
I am now following the Berner Bros on youtube thanks to you there is so much to see at this one place. I am going to have to plan a trip after the winter.
Loved this video...your knowledge of all the different items is amazing....love listening & learning ....Love the "family" that surrounds you, CLL, Kate, & now the Berner Bros, & others....makes for interesting viewing far far away from where I am. ..As always, Best from BC
This was so fun and the knowledge that flows from you so effortlessly is unbelievable! I know this mall so it was extra fun to get your thoughts. Just curious, did you purchase anything?
I like learning through these videos, I learned today that I gave my daughter a bittersweet three foot tall swung vase that I thought was ugly and had no value and turns out it probably does.
Good evening, George! Those Flow Blue plates looked really good displayed together. Loved that Italian statue and the French clock set! There was a display shelf next to the furry chair that really caught my eye. I could use that. What was that contraption in the display case, in the corner where the tall swung vase was? It was interesting. All of those silver plate toothpick holders, all together, would make a fascinating display. Loved the devil toothpick! Wow! That Ansonia statue clock was fantastic! I liked that Royal Bayreuth card box. There was a large Egyptian print, on the wall behind the electric fireplace, that really got my attention. I'm an ancient Egyptian nut! The "cross guy", with the mustache inkwell really interested me. I liked that. Loved that Bristol vase, in the case where the jewelry was. Out of all the advertising...not a Dr Pepper in the lot 😐😂 That was definitely a place to spend the day! Tons of interesting items! Thanks for taking us along!
Hello! Flow blue is so rich, it reallly demands being shown en masse. I was so happy to see really nice true antiques in this place! I went back and looked at the video, and I really don't know why a grinding device would be on wheels...I wish I had paid attention then, you get focused on one thing when filming and it's easy to miss other things. The devil and mustache toothpick holders make me want to collect those, along with Royal Bayreuth devil ware and everything similar from that era! I like Egyptology and saw the print but didn't really know enough to speak competently about it. There was a Dr. Pepper elsewhere, you're reminding me that i have more footage somewhere! I'll have to find it. Thank you so much for coming along!
It sounds like a long enough list for a weekend or midweek getaway! Maybe a B&B because you will want at the very least 2 days in there. Maybe more. 😂 Berner Brothers should build a couple cabins for the full experience....lol 😊
@@LauraMe... you might be right! They’re building storage for their older dealers who are downsizing so they can keep stock on site, so anything is possible
This was one of my ultimo favorites. I could watch more of these in that mall, I've been there once and it is big enough to probably make dozens of videos, lol Thank again for great information too.
You are so knowledgeable about the different artists. I’ve been collecting my entire life, and still don’t know half as much. You should consider a book!
Thanks for another wonderful & informative video. I hope to make it to The Heart one day. It's about an 8 hour drive from me. Also, great write-up in Worthpoint! You're famous! LOL 🤩
I'm originally from Ohio, and that's a great antique mall. You said you would be going to Florida if you haven't stopped at the Big Peach Antique Mall in Byron, Georgia it is a must. I used to have a booth there, and it's one of my very favorites in the entire United States.
I helped someone score modern Spode Christmas pattern today - two mugs and two bowls for $5 and change, total. It was more fun than even finding a bargain for myself, which I did - 14k earrings for $5. THe menorah wasn't a Chanukkah one; I bet that one is from a synagogue. It was a seven-branch lampstand and Hanukkah is nine. Regular ones sell like hotcakes in November and antique ones go flying year round. I can't think there would be many of the standard ones about. (and what was up with the red and green bulbs? THat looked just plain weird.)
Great video, as always! I do wish I could get to Heart of Ohio. Believe it or not, this living estate I'm still working on had a set of Cambridge nudes that I sold 2 at a time on eBay.
Born in Columbus,Ohio & have been to this antique mall several times. Now living in Florida between Tampa & Orlando. Did you say you had a shop in Florida?
I am hoping to get there one of these days. I am already checking out how far these places are from where I will be in North Carolina! Only about 8 hours!
I am doing a lot of research on where I can go from North Carolina. I will be near Greensboro right near the Va border. And Heart of Ohio is absolutely on my bucket list! @@TheAntiqueNomad
10:04 Tiki stuff was REALLY HOT in the late 1990s / early 2000s (it kinda went hand in hand with the Cigar Craze and the Swing Music Craze) . TODAY -- it has DIED down a WHOLE LOT!! It is very hard to sell now . ESPECIALLY the CoCo Joe's figurines! I suspect that "mall produced" new retro TIKI stuff killed the craze a little bit. I do sell Tiki related menus and match books fairly well, but general TIKI figures and MUGS - FORGET IT ! I don't bother anymore.
Amazing items. Infinite knowledge. Thanks George.
My pleasure!
I loved the Lil Abner band!!! I followed the comics when I was a kid!

The bench is not Laverne, it's John Behringer for j.g. Furniture. Saarinen used them in his TWA terminal in 1960.

George, this place was outstanding. So much i drooled over. What are the different frankoma clays, and what makes a color valuable?

I have a cameo that was appraised at six hundred. Ten karat gold. Have you seen any at that price? I thought it was outrageous.
I love your notes across the screen. Could they run a twitch slower? Thanks for your consideration. 🤗💖🦋

Have you ever seen to medina antique mall?
I mean that cast iron devil looks like a certain guy named Zeno... 👹
