Can you provide a chart that references all the codes and identifies what they indicate? Also, my Audi often rises to 95 -97Cel, is this considered in the normal range? Thanks!

Hi, I'm having issues with my air con and was told to check these codes. Either 20,21,22 is showing up as zero. How do I know what they should be reading? It's one of the AC switches. Tia
Been trying to work this out all morning🤣🤣 bloody temp gauge isn't going up and my engine lights come on😭😭 already cost more than the cars worth to fix what was supposed to be ok. I'm on the verge of cutting my loses 🤣my fuel gauge stays full aswell drops to 3 quarters every now and then. That was supposed to be the only thing wrong with it haha. Luckily the range still seems to work and the red light came on just after bought it so at least that is working.

102 for the main fan, then turns back off at ~87 I believe. This is controlled by the temp sensor on the radiator itself (not the 49C one in the video, which is used by the ECU for fuel mix). This separate radiator temp sensor is important, because it allows the radiator to cool after the engine is off: For example after driving up a mountain, the turbo is very hot. When the engine turns off, the after run coolant pump - 225 models - keeps pushing coolant through the radiator but potentially not the engine. My slow speed fan does not work, so not sure about that one. The accessory fan is controlled by the air conditioner.
If you're finding that your fans don't turn on until after ~102 degrees, I recommend first replace your thermostat, then radiator temp sensor (different to G62 sensor), then check fans work, and if they do, replace your FCM. If neither works, then go deeper (G62, radiator blockage, coolant pump, etc).
@@BWSTT I had a problem where the G62 was reading ~110 before the radiator got hot enough to trigger the fans. Thermostat replacement fixed it, but as somebody that has watched your videos for many years I wouldn't believe myself if I hadn't seen it myself haha

what is th emost important, code 51 or code 49 for my dash temperature gauge sometimes goes around 120 go back to 90, return to 115-20, back to 90, finally in long term, go to 90 as at this time code 51 starts from 25-30, goes up and finally stabilized at 90 all the way for more than 100 km.... what is the problem from what I try to explain you... never looked at code 49, thought it was for audi TT 2000-2002, mine is 225 Audi TT 2003
Is that all...I’ll do that then. Excuse my naivety....as I’m not mechanical... What else can I do to improve the cold temperature on my climate control as right now it’s just blowing luke warm air. Thanks
Princess Tittikaka make sure that exon isn’t lit up as that’s turning the air con off. Once you’ve done that and renewed the filter if it’s still not cold you will need to get the air on checked. It would likely just need a regas, but you need to make sure the compressor is kicking in. To do this press that economist button whilst idling and you should notice a slight fluctuation in the revs, which is the pump engaging and or disengaging. (The pump runs from the auxiliary belt so then the clutch on the ac pump engages it puts more load on the engine, which at idle Is noticeable while the ecu makes corrections for this)
BWS TT Your a star, thanks Hun, I’ll check this out tomorrow. I have notice the rev change when idling so prop does needs re-gassing. At 109k she just sailed through her MOT which shocked me as the rear suspension & springs have been creaking for a while so now deserves some TLC me 😀
@@PrincessOllie1I was having this issue, I simply removed my cabin filter and when I got the vents out (a few of the fins were popped out of the little rib cage like structure for altering the angle of the air, they are held in with glued foam and they dry out meaning they can disintegrate and block it up, easiest way to get the vents out for me was to slip a nail underneath the steel ring (the bit going around it) get your thumbnail under the other side and slowly pull it. Tap it a few times as I found that foam sits in weird areas you can’t see.. my ac didn’t work and it works beautifully now
Mine shows -10 degres . changed the sensor still same. is it the ecu or cluster. fault shows up as temp sensor short o pos adtemp sensor short to groud , along with fuel leve sensor short.

You can buy replacement gauge motors on eBay and swap them out no soldering required. I’m doing one shortly and will post video. Just need to pull the dash so will do lcd as well.
Oh I need to shout out to you son...this grandma is getting sick 3 min in this tt. 2001. Meaning my liver & kidneys are bad and my stomach swells then iam sick, dizzy, eyes blurred, headache. I go home after running errands. My stomach has gas iam sick don't want to get in car. But it's all I have to drive. Is it AC, or control unit is not set. Cluster is faulty. No oil looking bad of loss of freez but iam some how sucking in exhaust or freon or gas. Not sure but iam sure about sick.

Code 51 never reads over 90, its not an actual true temp reading, you need 49

Cause that's your coolant temperature his car was cold yours was warmed up

Only fix is to have cluster removed (simple job) and find a shop to repair. In UK it's about £150 job. New LCD and motors in the gauges
The voltage on mine came us as 13.5 , does it matter?
if the car was running and the same voltage it was too low. i think the regular voltage is 14.0 to 14.5.
