Him alone has absolutely carried this team and they have the audacity to not give him what he wants . Forget about the future for one second. He will get VERY close to 10 years 40 million per year
Probably ***slightly*** less but very very close to that
And is that a ‘good’ deal? Probably not

U speak so out of pocket. At the trade deadline the Yankees low key almost dusted him gleybor and Volpe for Shohei or a Juan Soto deal. (Shoehei) would have obv been the jackpot. Then the Yankees look like geniuses because even without 60 homeruns in the lineup they'd have an amazing 11k per outing pitcher that would destroy yankee stadium right field porch.
Judge is having a hell of a season but ultimately he's not worth shohei money, (still worth what they're paying players nowadays and will be paid handsomely) but maybe not by the Yankees. Especially in the off-season if Shohei trade talks come up before sigings

Clean or not, Barry's 73 homers in only 476 at bats will always be THE best offensive season. They wouldn't even pitch to the man when he was breaking the record. Even if he was on roids, there's been plenty of roidheads in baseball that never came close to hitting 70 homers, and certainly couldn't do it in only 476 at bats. You can take all the roids in the world and you won't come close to 70. But sure, Judge will be the "clean" homerun king. LOL

Pitchers are throwing easy balls so many. Usually strong batters would face more inside balls.

I will not deal with an insult even if I say that I spend the season that is better than Shohei Ohtani that a judge is great. It is two people of with Shohei Ohtani that is a batter and the pitcher.
