The thing about the cheating....he didn't actually cheat, he DID break up with his ex, she even confirmed it in her rant when she said "NO ONE breaks up with me over the phone". But I agree that telling Alice to leave was NOT ok
definetely! he knows exactly that she doesnt have a place to got other then the club, and i wonder if he thought she would be in the mood to go there while he is arguing with his ex in THEIR apartment! she was paying rent at that time, wasnt she??? its not like he ven has the right to send her out!

Im soooo glad you said this, i was going to say the same thing until i saw your comment. Its not Jack's fault that his ex-fiance was a lil too psycho to accept that he dumped her, especially after all the times it was alluded to that she treated him like shit earlier in the movie

He didn't tell Ali to leave, he asked her for some privacy because Natalie wanted to yell at him and it was embarrassing! He could've done it in a better way. But in that situation I would've given them the privacy without being asked. I can't imagine Ali would want to sit there listening to Natalie rant about her own ego for an hour.

Cher is one of the greatest. You should watch Silkwood, Mask, Moonstruck, Witches of Eastwick and Mermaids. She's amazingly versatile.
Burlesque came out in 2010, so 11 years after Genie in a bottle :) Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci. Great actors!

Honestly, Suspect was a really good movie and she did amazing in it!
I had to laugh at your incredulity that Cher can act 😂. She’s actually an amazing actress and has an Oscar to prove it for her role in Moonstruck. She was also nominated for her film Silkwood. She’s also won two Golden Globes and was nominated for an additional two on top of that. She’s also won a critic’s choice award and a best actress award at Cannes film festival. She’s quite well known for her acting ability, though, of course, she is much more well known for her music.
Cher still puts on a show. I saw her pre Covid in ‘19
I am probably one of the few straight men who LOVE this Movie, but even more.... the Music. The SoundTrack has never left my phone. SO Damn GOOD! Vocals are superb!

This film is from 2010 and actually was released in theatres. Cher was around 64 and Christina was 30 (probably 29 when it was filmed). It was during the Bionic era. Genie In A Bottle was in 1999 so this was a little later 😆
Kristen Bell has been in some Broadway productions and Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, but she's more known for voicing Princess Anna in Frozen.
Stanley Tucci has also been in several Broadway productions. A fun fact is that his wife is Felicity Blunt, Emily Blunt's sister. Emily starred alongside Stanley in The Devil Wears Prada. If you wanna see a different side to Stanley check out The Lovely Bones. He is terrifying in that movie.
Peter Gallagher who plays Vince has also been in several Broadway productions.
Cam Gigandet who plays Jack played the villain in the first Twilight movie.
Eric Dane who plays Marcus was in Grey's Anatomy. He played the baby daddy in the musical episode you reacted to a while ago.
Alan Cumming who plays Alexis (who you thought was Pee Wee Herman RIP) is a famous film and stage actor. He has won 2 Tony Awards.
Julianne Hough who plays Georgia (the pregnant one) is a famous dancer. She and her brother Derek, who is also a dancer, have both been on Dancing With The Stars. In 2013, Derek's dancing partner was Amber Riley who was crowned the winner. Julianne also played Sandy in the Fox live television production of Grease.
Steven Antin, the movie's director, is the brother of Robin Antin, the founder of Pussycat Dolls. He got the idea for this film after seeing Christina sing with them.
Cher has said that she felt this could've been a much better film, mainly because the director and the script were terrible.
I was waiting the whole movie for your reaction to Dianna Agron! She only has one short scene but her character is mentioned so many times. Btw, I suggest you react to the music video to "I'm Not The Only One" by Sam Smith (or at least watch it on your own). Dianna is amazing in that video.
I agree about Ali and Jack. Ali was a strong, independent woman and it really disappointed me that she ended up taking back the dude who lied to her and treated her AND HIS FIANCÉ like shit. Yeah he gave her a place to stay when he didn't have to but later he also just did it to pay rent. Plus, most guys would probably not say no to a beautiful woman staying in their apartment. But when you have a fiancé, even if she's been away for months, it's not appropriate. ESPECIALLY if you're both walking around half naked all the time. He didn't tell Natalie because he knew it was wrong. And sleeping with that woman (or anyone else for that matter) the same day you seemingly break up with your fiancé is not cool either. And then telling Ali to leave?! Hell to the no!!
I also agree about Nikki going back to working at the club. I don't think a lot of time had passed so she was only newly sober. It's a recipe for disaster. Some people can do it but only after being in recovery for a while.

To add another comment, there was The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour back in the 70s AND I totally forgot she was in Mamma Mia 2. But so many other great movies, Mask, Mermaids, The Witches of Eastwick, Silkwood. Powerful performances!

This was 2010, definitely past Genie in a Bottle and Pussy Cat Dolls. I fell in love with Christina when this came out and have been obsessed with this movie ever since it came out, it’s just fantastic!

Love a fellow Cher enthusiast lol fun story: my entire childhood my grandpa told me that Cher was my grandma (she was his celebrity crush lol) and the reason i never saw her when i spent summers with him was cuz she was on tour. I fully believed this until he passed in 1999 when i was 11 😂 i have him to thank for my love of the queen.

Yeh i love the soundtrack from this movie. For singing roles, Kristen Bell (Nikki) is the voice of Anna in Frozen and Mary Lane in the absolute batshit bonkers Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical. I personally love it, but it's definitely not for everyone. It's dark and weird.
