I got a set of lens cap, baht mask and dew shield from a company on Etsy. They're fine, but don't need a particular recommendation. I hadn't seen a filter adaptor before; good idea. And, I'll have to get one of those levelers; that part of the process drives me a bit nuts. Thanks for the product info.
Thank you. I experimented with using one of my existing filters on the SeeStar using the filter adapter and it did cut out some more light pollution and better highlight the nebula better. I wouldn't recommend going out and buying an expensive filter to use with the SeeStar but for anyone who already has some filters, it's a good way to cut out some more light pollution.
@@AbdurAstro 2:00 - I'm seeing a ton of Z-banding which is indicative of loose belts. It can cause structural failure later on in the print's life. Not a huge issue for this particular application, but I 3D print a lot and I would not deem that as an acceptable print to send a client.
Thanks for the tips. My Seestar S50 will be delivered in 1 to 2 days. Greetings from northern Germany.

Thanks for the list.
That 3D printed dew shield is printed horrrribly though. You need to get a refund if you purchased it.
Hi there. I found the print quality to be very good. Do you have one and what was the issue you found with it?
